Azize, a patch of incredible dark red like blood or river clay against the sweeping, verdant landscape of the pridelands, blinks slowly as he stares out over the landscape. Bold enough and old enough to start wandering away from his family, he's done so...and not for the first time. Though instead of hunting, he's perched himself on a low branch of a stunted tree and is watching everything with an comical intensity, blinking his large firey eyes as though he could draw everything in and memorize it. The strange she-creature he'd encountered the other day had mentioned being an 'observer' which seemed to take a lot of courage...therefore he'd taken it into his head that he was going to follow in her stead, and watch things. Then his brother couldn't make fun of him anymore for being afraid of things.

A white cub with a chocolate back and a honey coloured mask seemed to be crawling through the grass, complaining. Did he like his family, he did, did he like his sisters, no. Girls, pfft! Then again his mother was nice enough, then his brothers, bah boys were worse then girls.
His peach coloured paws made no noise on the soft ground as he walked, the only thing that would have really given him away was the amount of noise he made as he walked. His blue eyes scanning the area, looking here and there. Boredom was luming over him.

Azize yawns spectacularly, and pauses to rub his eyes. So far he's mostly watched a few birds and some small pray animals go past, and it's starting to seem a lot more boring than the stranger had made it sound. The grumbling approach of another cub was interesting though, and not one of his own siblings, who ranged from red (brighter than his own color) to the peach-gold more typical of pridelanders, with whom he only shared half kinship. "Hlo!" He calls down, unable to resist, to the cub below.

Mbali's head shot up to look at the cub, he looked alot like his brother Nitesh, just red not brown. His blue eyes looked the cub over before he just sat down, eyes not moving from the other cub, male, so annoying, obviously.
"Hey." He didn't say much, after all why would he want to talk to someone who looked like Nitesh! He sighed and watched, and watched and sighed. Wonderful life he lead.

"You look bored..." Azize notes, crossing his paws and resting his chin on them. "I'm bored too...I was trying to see what it was like to be an 'observer'...because someone said you see all sorts of things that way...but I haven't seen -ANYTHING-...they must have gone a lot farther...because it's really BORING around here."

Mbali looked at him and agreed, "Yeah tis boring, seen any girls around? They are fun to play with!" He chuckled and looked around before climbing up with the other boy. "Hey move over!" He smiled and looked out, "where are the girrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrls!?!" He wanted to play with them.

Azize mewls in protest as he's forced to shift from his comfortable position to a spot further along the branch. "Just my sister, and that was before I came out here." he protests. He doesn't count the she-creature that gave him the whole watching idea to begin with, since he hadn't really -seen- her at all.

"Ah, damn." He looked at the Nitesh looking cub and decided he wasn't all that bad and could be put up with. "So what you do when boredom hits hard then?" He was curious and bored, really really bored. He licked at his paw, his mother and father did it to theirs, maybe that cured boredom.

"Well if I'm feeling really bored I sometimes go find my brother...he's always up to something crazy...like trying to find hyenas. Or I just come and look around for myself...sometimes interesting things turn up. This is the second time I've met someone new...so I guess it works."

"Your the only one I met outside my family." He didn't say much but then he never did really. He laid himself out on the branch and looked around, giving out a small yawn he then closed his blue eyes for a bit, "If you think of anything intersting to do, just say."

"Well that depends what you think of as interesting..."Azize considers, draped over the branch limply. "My brother thinks meeting hyenas is interesting...I don't. My sister wants to make sure my dad's family knows she's a princess...but we haven't met them....."

"Who is your dad?" He looked at the other and licked at his paw for a bit, he had nothing better to do then to lick at his paw, everything around here did seem increasingly boring.

"Hm?" Azize notes distractedly, as he readjusts his perch, claws scrabling on the wood. "My dad is Mwali. He's red, but not red like me...lighter. I'm red like my Grandfather he says, but I don't know that...beause he's dead." Actually thats about all he knows about his grandfather, since his father never speaks of the old lion, deseased lion in more than grudging tones, which Azize doesn't understand. "Who's your dad?"

"Mine? Mahiri, he white like I am but he totally white and has a brown mane." The white cub licked at his paw and looked around, there had to be something to do!! "You ever been outside the Pridelands?" He looked cheeky, he wanted to do something different.

"Well...my brother wanted to when he was into the idea of hunting a hyena...but we never really got around to it..." He says, twitching an ear warily. This sounded a lot like the intro to one of Malik and Jazira's "Great Ideas..." "Why?"
