Hello there everyone~
Ok so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Reiki.
My grandmother is a healer and she says that she uses it all the time.
I read a little about it on the internet but I didnt find a whole lot of information on how to actually do it.

Has anyone on here or someone you know ever used Reiki for healing?
Does anyone know more about how to do it correctly?
I tried it but I may have done it wrong. :/

Reiki is a style of energy work mostly used for healing that you have to learn from a Reiki master. This is because you need to be "attuned" to the type of energy involved. But there are a lot of people who say they do Reiki who don't, so you do need to be careful when looking for a teacher.

I agree with this.

My mother does Reiki for almost 8 years now. It's her way of healing people, easing pain and easing her own pain and getting completely relaxed. I don't know a lot of about it sadly, I never ask my mother about it. But she's about to start her own 'Reiki-practice' at home -- for family only.

My uncle and aunt are into Reiki as well,

I know of a few places in my area that teach Reiki but they charge about 100 to 200 dollars for a class.
Due to hardships in my life at the moment there is no way in heck I can afford anything like that.
I was hoping someone here would know enough to point me in the right direction but thank you all for your advice anyway. :3

Are there any other healing techniques you know about that I dont require a special instructor for?
