When you were a super-powered being, dates did sometimes seem to overlap with patrols, or at least it did in their cases. Truth to be told, Naica rarely did patrol - he was a lousy, scaredy knight, really. Having MuCephei or Valhalla with him made him more confident in the fact that he wasn't going to end up pancaked by the first youma he came across.
He still refused to rooftop-hop - the idea was just god damn insane in his mind - but at least him patrolling at all was some sort of progress on the usual.
"Im probably gonna have to go back to Germany for christmas and new years." He said. "Mother hasn't seen me at all since she's been touring all summer and now she's getting a little antsy..." He couldn't remember if he'd told her or not. He'd been tempted to offer her to come with him - knew his parents wouldn't mind, hell, his mother would have probably been very happy to see her - but it did strike him as... too soon. Too soon after her sister's dissapairance. He remembered the first christmas after his paternal grandmother had died had been the worst. Her parents would need their daughter to go through that time, most likely.
He wasn't selfish enough to even ask. "And Chris keeps bugging me to meet you." He said, amused. But then, suddenly, he stopped, and Naica looked back and forth.
...
"Did you hear that ?" There had been something, like... a whisper in his ear...

“Someday I’ll have to see her play.” She said wistfully. “I saw a poster of her hanging up at this little candy shop in town, the young man behind the counter gushed about her so much!” She said half laughing. She paused flushing and wished she could invite him to her place, but what would her parents say soon after…
The question thought made her pause and she shook her head. “No? I didn’t hear anything, at least nothing unusual?”

"Really ? Man, he would probably flip his s**t if he knew her son was here..." Pretty much everyone did. Then proceeded to ask for autographs. Or too meet her.
Yeah, good luck for most of them, but Ume had the advantage here. "I've got a dvd somewhere of her recent show, I think... She sends me one whenever a new one comes out. And she's hoping to play in Destiny City some day..."
A few steps, and he stopped again. "....I heard it again..." There it was, the Naica Worried Expression.

“What did it say?” She asked alert suddenly to how very serious this might be. She’d never heard a voice like that, but she’d heard the song of her planet, that pulse that beat in a slower rhythm, but a deep counterpoint to her own. Music like lifeblood, she should take him one day she realized. She wondered what he would make of the strange ruined city and the great old tree.

"It was kinda fuzzy." He admitted, shaking his head. "It said my name... Cosmos... Pledge..."
He went silent again.
"...request your aid, so that in return I may give you mine..." What was that even about ? Really, this whole thing was nuts enough as it was, did he really need to hear voices on top of it ?

“I’ve never heard anything like it.” She shook her head, thoughtful before she continued. “Maybe knights take an oath, that would fit the whole idea of a knight, maybe since you’re a knight of cosmos you pledge to cosmos?”

"I've never heard anything about that, either..." Chris had certainly never told him anything about voices in his head !
Erm. Each time he heard it, it seemed a little clearer, a little louder. "It does sound like a pledge, through..." He motioned toward an alley and leaned against the wall, focusing and frowning a bit. "Should... I take it ?" He asked. Mu probably wouldn't know, really.
He kind of wanted to ignore it, but... it wasn't stopping. It only seemed to get louder.

She stood up and took his hand and then nodded. “I don’t think that the Negaverse has found a way into our heads JUST yet, and it does seem to unique to you, Find out, maybe it makes you a stronger knight somehow.”

The real question was - did Naica want to be a stronger knight ?
...Not particularly, no. It only seemed to spell more trouble, really. But with MuCephei's encouragement...
Well, he was curious. That was the root of the whole problem - curiosity. Said to have killed great a many cats.
His hand sought Mu's, squeezed it a bit, and gave her that worried smile.
Oh, god.
"I pledge my life and loyalty to Naica, and to Cosmos." He said, looking and sounding oddly serious. "I humbly request your aid, so that in return I may give you mine."
Poof
MuCephei was familiar with the sensation of traveling through space. Naica wasn't. He didn't remember blinking, but he must have - because suddenly the alley was gone, the sound of the cars was gone, replaced by errie silence.
They were, very suddenly, somewhere else - somewhere rather barren, with only grayish dirt and what looked like the entrance to a cave.
And to one of the most lovely sight of the stars either teenager had likely ever seen.
Unfortunately, Naica didn't get to enjoy the view - no, he went straight to the next logical step.
"Oh s**t oh s**t oh s**t oh god oh god Ohhhhh shhhhiiiit..."
Freaking out.

“Breathe! Breathe D-…Naica” She said hurriedly correcting herself as she tried to make sure her Boyfriend didn’t hyperventilate and pass out. “Breathe! It’s ok! It’s ok I promise we can get back alright?” She said squeezing the hand to remind him that she was still there with him in this strange place.
And she was pretty sure they could make it back, how different could it possibly be for a Knight, or in his case a Page. “Naica, it’s ok, this isn’t that dissimilar from when they taught me how to get to the world MuCephei!”

This was pretty much Naica being Naica, but thankfully MuCephei looked like she was started to get used to it.
"W-Wha..." Well, that was an improvement. He was calming down. Slightly. Slowly. "Where are we ? And going to where now ?"
Yeah, he hadn't gotten the memo on senshi-side of riding the space waves, through, finally, something did seem to occur to him.
"...Is... Is this place... Naica ?"
Uh. Weren't they meant to protect their wonder ? This.. was barren. What was it here that was worth protecting ?

“I suppose it must be,” she murmured looking around. “I guess this is where you draw your…knight-self from.” She stated though at the same time her voice lifted in a question, after all she wasn’t sure how knights work. “Walk around? Perhaps you’ll remember something about it.” She urged.

"It... doesn't look like much... Doesn't it ?" He seemed almost caught in between dissapointment and wonder. On one hand, they were in space - and he felt oddly at home, now that the panic had worn down.
On another hand... Well, they were in the middle of nowhere, all barren, gray rock. Maybe he'd always been a lousy knight.
But nonetheless, he walked, reaching for Mu's hand on instinct. There... was a cave entrance over there. Suddenly intrigued, he headed in that direction.

“MuCephei itself was a ruin as well, I think, perhaps time… if the senshi haven’t been to their homes for as long as it looks maybe that was part of it. But it looks like a war, part of me wonders if the senshi fought in the past they way they do now.” She murmured and rubbed at her arms looking around.
When he took off she saw little option but to follow, chances were she MIGHT be able to call MuCephei from here and make her way home that way, but she didn’t wish to find that out the hard way.

"In ruins ?" He echoed, stopping and turning, giving her a sheepish smile as he waited for her to catch up. Curiosity had almost gotten the best of him yet again.
When she had, he started walking again. "Doesn't even look like there's anything here..." Really. There were no ruins as far as they could see - just flat, even ground, pale gray dust.
That lasted just about until they got to the cavern entrance. There were stone steps leading down. And then...
"Holy..."
Then there were crystals. Actually, that was an understatement. There were a ******** of crystals - huge, towering spires, some obviously shaped to grow in the way they were, some even looking like they'd been sculpted.
All semi-transparent spectrums, like the one on his wrist.
