Gwyneth pulled a sweater over her exposed skin, barely covered by her bikini. The day's earlier festivities consisted of rowdy football and volleyball playing, followed by water splashing. Now that the sun was setting most had retreated to the warmth of the fire that struggled to take on life. "We need more wood!" One of the girls poked the fire helplessly in an attempt to get it going. A few of the guys snickered in the background. How immature.
The redhead rolled her eyes as she gathered the firewood, throwing it into the mix before one of those guys could approach the girl with an inappropriate joke. This little lake out here in King's City was more fun without those guys and their sick minds. The guys scoffed as if they could hear her thoughts, going over to the cooler. They were probably just mad about losing to her team in football. She smiled once they got the fire going. There little party was in full swing. "Ok!" She stood up, dusting off her knees, "Who's got the marshmallows?"

It'd been a boring day at home; Koorie was off doing work, there wasn't a class lesson to be planned since she was just a TA and a project had just been started. Therefor, Jasmine was bored to the core and out searching for something to do. So when she'd caught whiff of there being a party down at the lake she'd hightailed herself down there.
Sporting skinny jeans and a hoody t-shirt, she fit in easily with the rest of the group. Even though she knew none of the people there, she floated from group to group, chatting it up as if she were supposed to be there. So when she saw the red-head tossing the wood into the flames, she grinned and grabbed the bag of marshmallows from the nearby food pile. "Right here!"

"Score!" The redhead's green eyes twinkled with excitement, like a cat with a shiny new toy. She gathered the correct utensils for the occasion; wooden skewers someone had brought from home. "One for you." She handed the girl a skewer, getting a better look at her in the firelight. She thought she knew everyone at this party.... Was she a party crasher looking to kick out the fire or start some trouble? Well, she had the food and couldn't be too much trouble.
She took the marshmallows offered, placing one on the stick and over the fire. She didn't care too much for smores, but the marshmallows were to die for. The party continued on as normal, with chatting and some dancing. Some people gathered around the fire for warmth and melted marshmallow goodness. "So thanks for getting the marshmallows." She smiled, playing with the sticky treat. "I don't think I really know you.... So I'll go first!" She held out her hand, rather enthusiastically, the sugar kicking in. "I'm Gwyneth. Everyone calls me Gwyn." She rolled her eyes slightly with a laugh.

A grin came over Jasmine's face and she took the skewer from the redhead. "Thanks! This party is really rockin isn't it?" She looked around at all there was going on, glad that she'd found such a lively group... and one that was so easy to slip into.
Popping a bloated, gooey marshmallow into her mouth, she tried no to laugh as the redhead turned to introduce herself; oh what timing. She covered her mouth until it was cleared of the sticky sweet. Taking the other girl's hand, she shook it firmly. "Name's Jasmine, but I usually just go by Jazz. It's nice to meet you!"

"It's nice to meet you too, Jazz." She stifled a snicker as she battled with the sticky mess. She readied another destined for the fire as soon as she could concentrate on not burning it. "What brings you to this little shindig?" She shifted in her sweater as a few others roamed by the fire. They were saying something about hide and seek or something. It sounded like fun.
"When you're done with your marshmallows, how's about a game?" Her lips curled up into a smile, though it looked a bit devious in the flickering fire light. There was plenty to do with the junk everyone had brought and stockpiled in their makeshift camp.

"Oh, you know, just here to have a good time." Fighting the gooey mess that was taking over her mouth and hands, she couldn't help but laugh a little before stabbing another marshmallow and sticking it over the flames. She'd let it go soft and melty inside before she'd set it on fire to crisp up the outside.
At the mention of 'game' Jazz's face broke into a wicked grin. "Well, what kind of party would this be without games?"

"They were about to play hide and seek, but I think I have something more exciting in mind." She left the fire to grab two water guns, handing one to Jazz. "How's about we soak these hide and go seekers?" He smile grew just as devious to match hers.
"Whomever gets the most people wins." She hadn't planned on getting the other people as much. Her main focus was to soak this little party crasher she had here. It would make for a good laugh and some fun times. "How's about it?" She pumped her water gun with a smirk.
