I know this might be a bit unusual, but I don't care. And i know this thead is kind of dead...

My cat has trouble with big left back leg. He'll get surgery for it hopefully next week. His knee dislocates often because of a muscle in his leg, over his kneecap is stretched. Causing it to 'pop' out.

He is already on painkillers but it doesn't work 100%.

I was hoping if anyone maybe would know an idea how to ease the pain a little bit more before he goes into surgery. It's not a human, so I don't want him to take in anything already next to the medicine.

If he's already on medication, I wouldn't give him anything else. There's one or two natural plants that can help relieve pain for animals, but they have the tendency to render medication less effective. It can be hard to see them in pain, but the best thing you can do is make sure he takes his medication and to make him comfortable until the surgery.

I know, its hard to see him in pain. I was hoping to find something, homeopathic maybe, but I dont want it to render the medication, so far it's working.

Blugh, I hope they can do it as soon as possible.
