Hey everyone,
I figured it would be nice to have one thread where you can just chat about how your day was and things like that without having to make a new thread for it.
Let's just all hang out here and chat with each other ^_^
So.. how are you all doing today? And how's the weather where you are now?

I'm doing awesome today (so far - it's only 7:30 in the morning)! I owe that to the fact that I actually slept last night. I only woke up once to use the bathroom and I got right back to sleep! It was also dreamless sleep - which is always so refreshing.
The weather - emotion_facepalm It was BEAUTIFUL yesterday, when I had to work. Today looks like it's going to be rainy and wet and cold. Yuck! I wish my days off were the beautiful days.
Tomorrow is my baby shower and I am getting nervous!
How are you? How is your day going? Anything exciting coming up in your life?

I'm fine, though I have been getting sick a lot lately. So I have bad luck with the weather too, since it's been lovely weather for the past few days and I had spent them mostly in bed >.> I did finally get enough rest though, so I'm happy about that smile
And tomorrow evening I'm going to the cinema with my best friend to see the Phantom of the Opera. It’s a virtually live performance (or a live performance ‘once removed’) from the Royal Albert Hall (London) ♥♥♥
Oooh, baby shower. You must be so excited ^_^

Oh that sucks. I hate being sick, and especially when it's nice out. And I'm glad you finally got rest, that usually helps with the not being sick anymore thing.
That sounds like so much fun! I would love to see PotO live. I've seen a Broadway performance of the Lion King once and it was SO amazing. Let me know how it is after you see it!
I'm excited for the baby shower - I'm also nervous though. I'm suppose to meet people from Sam's family that I haven't met yet, and I feel really weird meeting people for the first time while they are giving me presents. It just feels...selfish I guess. That isn't the right word, but it fits the best.

I've always wanted to see the Lion King musical! But when we were in London a lot of my classmates didn't have enough money to go and I didn't want to go alone... sad
I'm totally going to see a Takarazuka musical when I am Japan next year though! :3 I just don't know which one yet razz

Haha thanks. I'm starting to get excited. I hope I don't offend someone somehow though...I've never been good at hiding what I feel and so if I get something that is really ugly or really not me at all...I hope I can hide it well enough so as to not hurt the gift-giver's feelings.
OMG the Lion King was AMAZING! IF you EVER get the chance to see it, even alone - you should totally do it. One of my favorite parts was how visually striking it was. The dance moves and the costumes - everything was so visually pleasing.
Oh that sounds like it will be awesome too! I really want to go to Japan. I hope that when Sam and I get married we can go there for our honeymoon. I be jealous of you!

So how did the baby shower go?
Btw, I just got back from seeing the Phantom. Too bad we couldn't be in the Royal Alber Hall itself, but seeing it live in the cinema is the next best thing! It was... breathtaking. And at the end they even got all 5 phantoms (everyone who had been phantom in the musical) together on stage and they sang a couple of songs and then they invited Sarah Brightman on stage!!! Sarah Brightman!!!! (me and my best friend are huge fans). Even now we are still like: omg, it was so beautiful. Wow. omg etc etc xD
I need to get my hands on that dvd somehow! >:3
And next time I get the chance I'll certainly go see the Lion King <3

The baby shower went really well. I got a lot more than I expected. I spent an hour and a half straight opening presents. I was opening as fast as I could and not reading the cards except to see who it was from for my friend to write down for thank you cards!
Oh that is awesome! In person live is always the best but what you did was an amazing second I'm sure. Are they going to sell DVD's of it?

They are going to sell dvd's (and blu-rays) of it. I do hope I'll be able to buy it here in the Netherlands... but otherwise I can still ask the brother of my best friend, who is studying in England, to get it for me ^^

It was a lot of presents. I'm having such a hard time going through everything and finding a place for it!
Oh that's awesome. It sounds like no matter what you will get the DVD. I'm sure you could buy it online if you really had to.

I can imagine that after taking so long to just open the presents it will take about 10 times as long to find them all a place....it must take ages! surprised

I guess just about normal stuff, like how our lives are going, funny stories, ask each other questions that kind of thing
The only gripe I have is that there is no cool, manly stationary xD. Its either really girly stuff or uses boring stationary
