Ok so along with eventually doing therapy work with Abby (after we obtain her CGC and TDI) I am now also going to be working with horses!

Today my dad had this meeting and got to talking with this guy and apparently his daughter runs an equestrian center which also has an assisted therapy program for children with things like Autism, spina bifida etc and my dad knows that I've always loved horses and always wanted one(I will eventually own one!) and the guy gave my dad the center's card and I checked out the website and I absolutely love it!

I would be doing some volunteer work this saturday for them, but my dad can't take me so within the next few weeks I'll hopefully be able to start volunteering. But I also have to contact the place first. So I will do that this weekend and hopefully hear back soon!

I absolutely love horses and an opportunity to work with Horses and Children who benefit so much from programs like this is just awesome. Especially now that I actually have time to volunteer(yay for homeschool).


I also think I will finally start volunteering at either the ATL humane society or another local rescue that's closer as far as driving distance goes.
