Nukido
She was on her own again but she could not deny she missed the one stallion who was her and would always be her support. She wondered what had happened t him but the forest brought her innermost thoughts out. She wondered if he was lost knowing him helped her better understand what he might be going throuigh. She sighed and pushed on wanting to get him out of her mind
Mahogany Sunset
Bedwyr wandered restlessly. With the children off on their own and Lavender gone, he was aimless and alone. Vaguely, he picked a direction and let his feet lead him along a path - any path they so chose. He soon came to a forest, packed with great green firs and skinny deciduous trees. Not really minding the change in scenery, Bedwyr stepped over the threshold of the forest, sighing.
Quote:
She thought her eyes were playing tricks on her when she saw a glimmer of blue feather out in the forest. She let her feet lead her closer to the blue making out a stallion and one she knew. She approched him slowly her eyes trained on her face looking for any expression that might cross his face
Quote:
He heard footsteps. And not loud ones, but footsteps nonetheless, and the brush of something against bushes. He cast his eyes about, looking for the source, ears twitching with every new sound that was produced by whatever was walking toward him. Finally, he saw a dark silhouette approaching him – and he recognized it, the way it moved. She was here, in this forest, watching him. He was a little shocked, but glad to see her. His heart warmed at the sight of her, though at his point, he wouldn’t tell her that. “Lavender?” he breathed, hoping he wasn’t imagining this.
Quote:
She stepped out from the trees nodding at him her eyes still seeking emotion. She was unsmiling and so was he. She stood there staring waiting for something to happen things were still tence she could feel that in the air "Yes..?" she never looks away from him her eyes unmoving
Quote:
She puzzled him. Tilting his head a little in a small gesture of confusion, he said, “You’re in a forest… Can you fly in a forest?” Bedwyr asked, realizing he must’ve heard the feathers of her wings brushing against the bushes as she walked. Extremely tentative, he took a small step closer to her almost subconsciously, wishing for the closeness that was painfully absent. “Why are you in here?”
Quote:
She contuined to stare at him the wind whiping though her long mane and through her ears. "No..that i cannot" she walkes up to him and lets her wings brush his side "I am here for you..why else would i ever come back?" she tilts her head her eyes showing her all knowing look gazing at him again remaning calm and cool

Bedwyr took a deep breath, very much shell-shocked. She was coming back to him? Shivers went up his side in response to the tickling of her feathers. "You're sure...? I mean, not that I'm saying I don't want you too, but -" He shut himself up. He couldn't speak correctly in his stupefied state. His eyes felt as wide as his hooves. Flabbergasted, all he could think of to say was, "Why?"
Quote:
She watched him and saw his eyes change but she could not read his experssion. She looked at him once more "Speak your mind i can understand you clearly" she nods at him "Of course you do were still in love" she walks closer to him brushing his mane "I just said..becauce were still in love"
Quote:
He couldn’t believe it. She knew. She’d known all along, even when he’d denied it for her sake. Bedwyr had shattered his own heart to make her feel alright, and now she wanted to help piece it together again. And he’d let her help, of course. He’d do anything to have her back – he’d go to the ends of the earth for her. He knew she could read his eyes; it was something she’d done since they were foals. They just understood each other. “But the children… What about them?” he asked. They’d told the kids that they didn’t feel that way about each other anymore… What could they possibly think now?
Quote:
She felt sorry for running but wht could she do? She was blinded by her own love and now she realized that he was the thing that made her heart ache. She approached him and burried her face in his long mane "I believe they will be overjoyed.." she takes a deep breath and stands there in his warmpth
Quote:
His heart did a weird flutter-thing that it hadn't done for a long time when she stuck her face in his mane - maybe it was because she had been gone all the time and they'd lost the connection. "I think you're right," he murmured, turning his head to give her a little nuzzle. The thing that hurt the most was that she had been absent way too often for him to handle - sometimes he'd felt like he'd been raising the children by himself. "Do you think you're ready to stay in one place?" he asked, trying to tone down the hope that she'd say yes. He didn't want her to have to if she didn't want to, but it would be a little painful.
Quote:
She pulled away from him letting her eyes once more meet his. She nodded at him "they have been without me..they deserve us both" her ears twitch when he nuzzles her "I have missed you but i am unsure. It would be nice.." she debates what to do in her mind finally smiling at him
Quote:
“Whatever you want to do, Lav,” he said, not wanting to pressure her into any unwanted situation, though he really wished she would stay. The kids had always missed her, even after her grew resigned to her absence. There was a very small chance that she would stay because she actually, concretely wanted to settle down, he thought – it would be more a matter of who she wanted to be around. She could either stay with him and the children, or go out in the world and meet new people. “You can come and go as you please.”
Quote:
She nods at him once more her ears moving back again "I have decided that i wish to be with you..and our family..my wandering had only proved that" she is telling the truth and she hopes he can see that and feel it she wanted to settle down again she was tired of wanderinf endlessly for something that was with her the whole time "Thank you..but i wish to stay here by your side for the time being" she smiles at him and brushes on him once more

Letting out a sigh of relief and not hiding it, Bedwyr moved to rest his head on her neck - one of the first openly affectionate moves he'd made. He hadn't wanted to frighten her off or make her uncomfortable, but he wasn't afraid of that now. Only a little taller than she was, Bedwyr was perfectly comfortable hugging her - she was just the right size. "That is so relieving to hear," he said, un-hugging her and looking her in the eye. "Can we go home now?" Mentally furrowing his brow, Bedwyr wondered when the children had rubbed off on him. He sounded ridiculously child-like.
Quote:
She embraced him and was glad when she felt him move closer to her. They had been appart for ahile but it seemed like a lifetime. She was glad they were both same in size or it would be akward trying to give one another afffection. she looked him in the eyes as he turned his to hers "That sounds wonderful..i would love to see the family" she smiles at him not caring at all how he may be acting
Quote:
Bedwyr turned back the way he came, nodding toward home. "Shall we, then?" he asked, motioning for her to go first. Happy to just have her back, he didn't mind following her rather than leading - he actually never minded where he was in line, as long as they were together. But she would remember the way home, and this way, she could see if anything had changed.
Quote:
She set off at a brisk pace wanting to see how things had gone without her. She hoped that everything was at she left it bught she eknew some things would have changed. She longed to see the house and the kids and she let out a sigh of releif when she saw th house looked much as she remembered it besides some new touches here and there.
