Night wouldn't admit that when he had heard about this student, his mouth started to salivate in a very embarrassing way. Instinctively he was just imagining his new prey.....-friend to be, probably a small petite creature with some meat on the bones enough to fill the cat's hunger.
Sparrow, A name that had been rolled off a few of the ghouls he happened to pass by. His ears twitched as soon as he heard it and ran back to question the girls...and get some pets from them. Good thing about being a cat was the constant need everyone had to scratch you, it made Night feel spoiled. Anyways, back to the whole dinner thing. he was excited to meet the special savory Sparrow.
The girls regardless of their pets didn't give Night a lot to go on though, He was looking for a reaper, so here he was in the reaper dorms. A place where, usually a ghost would have problems coming into, Night strolled easily through. He thought it odd that a bird would be a reaper but then again, he had seen a lot in the academy after all. Just what couldn't you be in the school??
Sadly though, he was getting himself lost in the said reaper dorms looking for a bird reaper that he had no idea what the boy looked like what so ever. Taking a chance, he strolled up to the nearest reaper, A boy in blue Victorian clothes, brown hair and what Night would say was a devilish flirtatious aura.
"Yo Excuse me!" Night held up his hand in greeting, his ears twitched as he looked the boy over, "Have you seen a bird around here named Sparrow?"

Sparrow had spent the better part of his morning attempting to convince himself that he did not, in fact, have a problem with flirting too much.
He did not know why his siblings had to have brought it up on his latest phone call from home. Dexter had spent a good twenty minutes reprimanding him for leading ghouls on, and it was only after Sparrow had said (repeatedly) that he did not understand what in Jack's name his brother was talking about that Dexter had given up. And his sister Phillipa had been no better, teasing him mercilessly about "that ghoul Wren" that he had mentioned a few times in his letters home.
It was then that Sparrow decided it was quite a good time to hang up the phone.
Now he was sitting in the common room of the Reaper dorms, idly flipping through a book that he was not really reading. Sparrow's mind was quite far off, thinking instead of a pale-skinned ghoul with dark hair...
"Have you seen a bird around here named Sparrow?"
The voice caught him off guard, dragging Sparrow out of his inner musings. He glanced up, brows lifting at the sight of a black haired, black-eared student he had never seen before.
"That would be me," answered Sparrow genially. "Might I help you?"

Prey found. As soon as the boy answered Night, with confirmation that he was in fact the one named Sparrow, Night looked him over before saying the first thing on his mind.
"Your kinda of big to be a bird an all, and you don't have any wings." He looked almost disappointed that the other boil didn't seem to fit the profile of a the common bird and crossed his arms with a huff, his tail swayed behind him in annoyed flicks. "Look here buster, I came here looking for dinner okay? Because they said a bird named Sparrow was around here."
Night looked him up and down again, "The ladies said your also a quite the flirt too and that I should watch out for you." His ears twitched before he flopped own, still, clearly at ease as a ghost in the reaper dorms. "Ah I feel like I just had like....a bird dangled in front of me and just as I got out to swipe my paw at it, it flies away." His stomach grumbled as he looked over at the boy. "Hey...Hey." Tail twitching again he stared at the boy, "Are you really not a bird? Your not like hiding in a different form are you?" Night's bright green eyes looked so hopeful at the idea, it was like looking a kitten in the face. Adorable.
