As scary as the city had become in the past few months, Izumi still loved the park. While she rarely ventured outside of Shizuo's home, where she was staying for the time being, Izumi was willing to brave a walk through the streets to get to the safety of the park. City parks weren't actually very safe, but Izumi was lucky to have finally realized that living in the slums wasn't safe, let alone other areas. At least now the girl had started bringing pokemon with her when she went out, though the choice to bring her newest pokemon with her would prove a bad choice if any conflict broke out.
It was late afternoon when Izumi decided to take a walk around the park. She paused at a bench near one of the many ponds to sit and rest. A tiny brown fox pokemon had trotted at her heel, taking a position under the bench when they stopped for a break.

The park in Camphoreon was actually a favorite destination of his when in the city. Asch rarely didn't stop by when he was away from the base, and today was no different. The sea breeze blew through, tossing his hair about like red streamers behind him. Green eyes looked towards the harbor beyond as he stopped next to a railing overlooking the water.
Beside him was his trusty little Zorua, who seemed to be in a good mood and was happily trotting along. Green eyes the same color as his master's, sparkled with delight as they enjoyed the scenery. However, something else soon caught his attention as the breeze blew in the right direction.
He smelled another Zorua! Quickly looking around, he spotted the girl and her Pokemon some distance away. "Zor zor!" Tyke announced to his master, which gained a look, before he sprinted off. Asch blinked once, his eyes following the Zorua as he ran towards another one.

Even brighter green eyes than the other Zorua stared out from under the bench, retreating slightly with a whimper when the newcomer came bounding up. It seemed the little brown fox was not nearly as outgoing as Tyke. Nor was her trainer. She noticed the pokemon first, and jumped slightly, startled. "O-oh... h-hi..." Then she noticed the human.
Unsure silver eyes stared out at the red-haired man under a mass of bright blue. She crossed her arms, putting her hands on her elbows, one of which was covered with what looked like a silver glove; Was this his pokemon? Was he just coming to say hello, or was he going to try and take something from her? If so, would Jerome or Shizuo pop up out of nowhere to save her?

Tyke blinked and skidded to a stop when both the Zorua and the human both seemed to cringe at his approach. He flattened his ears back a bit, a little bewildered. He looked between the brown and pink fox, to the girl, and then back again. " he started, wagging his tail softly but keeping his distance since they seemed to be afraid of him.
Asch noticed the reaction and sighed softly before approaching. "Tyke, leave them alone." The Zorua looked back at his master and drooped in disappointment, before shuffling back to Asch's side. "I apologize if he's bothering you."
Sometimes the little Zorua got a little carried away.

The Zorua relaxed when the pokemon was recalled to its trainer's side. Without her larger friend with her, she was much more on edge than normal. But, he didn't seem dangerous.
"Oh- no- H-he just startled me... is all..." The girl smiled shyly at the new person. He didn't seem like he was there to cause trouble, but- Izumi blinked a few times when he got closer. He looked awfully familiar- And then it hit her. It was that jerk! "I-I know you!" She frowned, though it was hard for her to look anything besides very happy or scared. "A-are you here to call my things junk some more?" Her bottom lip stuck out slightly, emphasizing her pouty anger.

Tyke's ears perked back up again when the other Zorua actually said 'hi' back to him. He smiled as he sat next to Asch's boot. "" he then asked, tilting his head curiously at the other fox. "" As if she hadn't already heard his master say it.
Asch blinked once in surprise as Izumi suddenly proclaimed that she knew him. His brows then raising at her accusation. "What are you talking about?" He asked in slight irritation. He had never seen her before in his life, and he would remember seeing her, those strange tattoos were not easily forgotten. However, it then hit him, and his indifferent expression soon turned to a deep frown. Wait a minute. She must know HIM.

"You don't remember?" Izumi looked at who she thought was Luke just a little closer. She was sure that was the same guy... though... his hair had grown quite a bit. "Your MP3 player broke, and you came into my shop and called all of my things junk, but your mp3 player wasn't broke, the batteries were dead." It wasn't her fault she didn't know that the jerk-face had a twin.
The little fox scoot forward slightly, bringing her head out from under the bench.

Yes, she definitely had to be talking about his... twin. The description of his behavior that this girl gave, though, was certainly different from Rosie's. It resulted in a slight eye twitch from Asch, and his expression soured even more into disgust. What kind of moron took an mp3 player into a shop without checking the batteries first?
"That wasn't me," he said slowly, as if trying to keep a reign in on his own temper. "You're mistaking me for an idiot."
"" Tyke chirped back to Gerty, his tail wagging even more. However, he felt the vibes from Asch and looked up. ""

Gerty flattened her ears, whining a bit at the rising temper of the red-headed human.
The girl's face turned bright red. "I-I'm sorry!" This was awkward. "I-I... I was sure... I-I'm sorry..." How did she come back from this? She already wasn't good at normal socialization, but now she'd mistaken someone for someone else who she didn't like.

"" Tyke said back, glancing up at his master again. "" Tyke had never actually seen this guy, but he knew of him.
At Izumi's prolific apologies, Asch sighed in annoyance, but his temper started to simmer down. "It's fine." He told her, although it was clearly not. "This hasn't been the first time." It wasn't really her fault that she didn't know, and Asch wasn't looking to scare a timid girl anyway.

Gerty knew that people who looked like other people were from the same pack.
"I-" Izumi started to apologize again, but stopped herself. "I'm... Izumi." She was glad that this guy wasn't actually that jerk. The last thing she needed was to be harassed by that stupid... stupid head. "Um..." This was the hard part of socializing--socializing. "N-nice to meet you?"

"" It wasn't like his master really talked about this other guy named Luke. Saber knew something but he wouldn't tell him.
This girl was really trying to put forth some effort to be social, which seemed to be rather painful for her considering her timidity. Asch studied her for a moment before deciding to humor her. It would be rather rude to be like.. kthx bye and just leave at this point.
"I'm Asch," he told her bluntly, then paused for a moment before continuing. "Its a pleasure." Everything he'd been taught in his childhood seemed to resurface at times like this. Being polite and respectful had been well ingrained.

A small smile crept onto Izumi's face. This person was much more friendly than the one she'd mistaken him for. "U-um. A-are you from around here?" If only there were some sort of robot around, then Izumi would be much better at speaking. It wasn't that she didn't want to talk or make friends, it was just... really awkward.
The brown Zorua crept out from under the bench a little further,

Asch didn't really engage in this sort of thing much himself, and he'd probably be considerably colder if it wasn't for the fact that this girl looked like she could break with a single wrong word. Shifting his weight a bit, he paused to consider that question. It was a bit of a complicated one.
"Sort of. I recently moved to Kodo. Are you?"
Tyke smiled in relief as things seemed to be going better between the two now. He knew his master wasn't very good with socializing with other humans all the time, so it was nice to see him making an effort. "" He then looked back to Gerty. ""

"Um- I'm from Lavaridge, but I've been in Kodo for a year..." And what a year. "I-um. I own a machine shop... down town." Izumi fidgeted with her metal arm, trying very hard to carry on a conversation with this stranger. She had to make friends. Friends were important. Gerty seemed confused. She and her Zoroark friend never really played, everything they did was to get by, or for his search for a 'worthy opponent'.
