If you are a seasoned witch or long established pagan, how do you approach or respond to those who are new to either witchcraft or paganism?
If you are new to either witchcraft or paganism, what kind of help/guidance would you like to receive from long established and seasoned members of the community?

I ask these two questions because I am a member of many web groups that were originally set up with the intent of helping new people find their path or perhaps just give advice and support, but all I really see many of them succeed in doing is sew more confusion.
I'm going to post this in several other places that I frequent because I think these are two questions that could help the community at large.
