Please cookie this, it is so close to 5,000: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/spring-cleaning-2011/proposal-hire-transfer-a-flash-developer-for-zomg/t.74840215/
Also spread word about zOMG! on sig, profile, and everywhere. Pan said that the decision to hire more devs will be based on the reaction to dead man's pass. So buy amulets if you haven't and get more people to join if you can. I had the idea to spread about zOMG! through backyard monsters saying to people who attack me, that if they like attacking, then they should try zOMG! out. So have people check zomg.com out.

I'll help you, I'll get some friends to help spread word. zOMG! Really needs all the help it can get now. Possibly even make thread to gather z! Users, to help zomg's word get out to everyone.

Thanks for having this!
So with the recent unsoulbound option for the amulets, what sort of reaction do they expect out of users, now that they've opened up DMS to the public?
In my experience, I'm saving up for an amulet, now that I can afford one. The market price was also too much for me, during the time that DMS was only available with the bloodstone or amulet.

In my experience, I'm saving up for an amulet, now that I can afford one. The market price was also too much for me, during the time that DMS was only available with the bloodstone or amulet. Well there a protest I heard about in front of the gate. Was very disappointed that I had some friends support it. But then there are some of us like me who are trying not to scare new players away and help level them a bit. Good luck with saving the amulet. It is nice that it can be equipped. Yeah I wrote this thread awhile ago, surprised it got interest again even though I doubt gaia will hire more devs unless more players play the game.

That is very true. With DMS going public, more people can play the area now - which should be a good thing. There are a number of extremely helpful guides that I'm sure is getting passed long to new players all the time.
Speaking of which, a friend of mine has finally reached cl 10 and been prepping for DMS, which I'll be taking him along for his first time next weekend. This is the best way I can contribute to the zOMG community (quality over quantity in players, heh) It should be fun though ^^
I'd like to say, before the developers expect the game to generate a wider audience or even revenue for the future, they should continue working on it in the sense of "perfecting" it. This is a good as time as any to rid the game of bugs, defects, server lags, and expanding it while they still can. Another part of trying to get more players to play the game is a marketing aspect. Gaia has so many members, it's a wonder why not a good majority have played the game. But even if the majority of Gaia's users were to play the game, I'm curious to know if the servers can even house that many users at a time without lagging or crashing.
