Claire was hungry and she didn't want to use any food from her fridge. It took only a minute of thought to work out an ingenious plan to get food: doorknocking. Usually, nobody would ever want to give Claire food as they most definitely would have none left, and this thought had crossed Claire's mind a fair few times. However, she had a plan. Ghosts. Claire knew little to none about them and yet she was most keen to get food from them. She wasn't even 100% sure if she knew a ghost at all. But, nonetheless, she wanted food and she would not give up without a fight. So. She knew that ghosts likely didn't eat much and she used this to her advantage.
Off to the dorms she went! And after 45 minutes of unsuccessful doorknocking, she visited her 97th dorm. This one smelled faintly of fish- a food which Claire quite enjoyed.

After folding up her newly sewed dress, Bea was delighted to see how productive she was. Not too much has happened since she lost the elections, and she didn't seemed bothered too much by it. Yves, Bea's loyal fallenjox helped her pick up her sewing supplies and set them on her desk. Then suddenly...
Bea heard someone rapping at her dorm room door.
The water in her dorm made a low pounding noise as Bea floated up to the surface to find the door still being knocked on. She looked at her line of helmets for a moment and tilted her head in a bit of confusion. Was expecting a visitor?
She wasn't.
She opened the door a bit slowly. curious to see who was behind it. An adorable ghoul with a gruesome mouth on her stomach was standing just outside her room.
"May I help you?"

Claire stared at the ghoul, calm and collected. "Hello," she said, sounding official "I am Claire Virus and I am quite hungry. Do you by any chance have some food? I am a glutton demon so... please if you can help me out, insert name here." the delivery was well-rehearsed and robot-like. Her face was blank but sweet. Claire's expectations were low, but this girl looked like the sort that might have something to eat. If not, she may have had better luck in a dormitory with creatures that actually eat food on a regular basis. Or she could have just scabbed from Barth or Riley. But Claire's logic was quite flawed and she was not willing to give up the prospect of free food.
So there she stood, looking cute but very stupid. Very, very stupid indeed. As usual, of course.

A bit surprised to say the least not just by the unexpected visit but the very automated sounding ghoul. Bea furrowed her eyebrows at the glutton demon. What a strange request. Not to mention the insert name here part. But she was honest.
"Umm... Well, I don't have any food in my dormitory..." She looked back for a bit before turning back to the ghoul, "seeing as my room is pretty much a giant aquarium, I don't have a working stove or anything..." Eating was not really a necessity for ghosts, in fact, Bea only eats when she has a craving for something or just having a craving to bake. The innocent look she received was somehow very endearing in a weird way. Bea frowned. If this ghoul was going door to door just to get food, was she really that desperate for it?
"Poor thing. I can make you something to eat if you have a place for me to cook for you? Or I could escort you to the cafeteria. I'm sorry I don't have much options here in my dorm, you see..." She opened her door wider for the ghoul to peek inside at the steps leading down into the water.
"Oh, my name's Beatrix by the way. Or you can just call me Bea for short." She smiled at Claire before stepping outside her room and closing the door behind her.

Claire's face fell when the ghost ghoul said she had no food. Her lip quivered slightly and she was about to turn and leave when the ghoul started talking again. But again, disappointment. Claire stayed put out of politeness and waited for the ghost to finish talking so she could say thank you and good bye.
Her eyes widened, however, when the ghoul offered to cook for her. Her mind started racing to think of a place where this ghoul could cook. Her dormitory was an option, but that was quite a long walk awa-- No. Her dormitory was just fine, thank you very much. Claire peeked in to the water-filled area and nodded happily. So, her name was Beatrix. Well, Bea was easier. "I'm Claire but I said that before in my speech thing. Herrrrlo Bea! If the offer is still open I have stuff to cook with and stuff at my dorm in the demon... dorm! You are very kind, the only ghost to offer! One boil offered me a knuckle sandwich but they don't taste so good, I've tried one before." she said matter-of-factly, beckoning Bea to follow her as they made their way to Claire's room.

Bea smiled and nodded at the ghoul, happy to oblige. Claire's speech was more genuine this time around, and Bea couldn't help but giggle at how adorably enthused she was. Until she mentioned the other boil who threatened her.
"That's terrible!" she shouted with an irritated tone. "Wait. Unless he actually offered you a knuckle sandwich to eat. Then yes, they are terrible..." She started past the ghoul for a moment.
"The demon dorms? Isn't that all the way across campus?" Snapping out of her dazed state. Though she couldn't take back her suggestion now that Claire got so excited about it. It would break her heart letting the poor hungry ghoul go starving.

After a five minute walk, Claire and Beatrix arrived at Claire's dorm. Claire pushed the door open (she didn't have time for keys) and entered with the ghoul. "This is my room! It's not filled with water like yours. Why is yours filled with water?" she suddenly gasped and looked horrified "Do you need water to breathe?? I'll get you some right away stay put! I don't have salt water, though! Oh no! You'll be okay!" she ran to the sink and grabbed a bucket from the cupboard underneath. Then, in a swift motion, she filled up the bucket and ran back to Bea, trying not to spill it. She put it at her feet and stepped back, looking anxious.
Hopefully Bea would survive, she wouldn't want a dead ghost on her hands.

Bea has never been into any one else's dorm before and quite frankly, it was very exciting. The minute she tried to take in what was happening, Claire suddenly popped up and frantically trying to get her water. "Oh no no! I'm fine! My rooms is full of water because i just like it that way. It makes me more relaxed since I typically over work myself." Bea began to laugh it off.
"So what would you like for me to make?"

Claire's mouth just made an 'o' shape as Bea rejected her water. She was relieved to say the least. "Wow! I can't really swim so I think I would probably die if I put lots of water in my room. Probably." She got out some pots and pans for Bea and took out spoons a plenty. With a tap or two on her chin, she worked out what she wanted Bea to make. It was worth a try, anyway.
"Can you maybe possibly maybe make me cupcakes? What do you need for them? I have ingredients. If not, cookies! But cupcakes are good too." she said it quietly, feeling greedy. Well, not really. She didn't feel greedy, but she didn't want Bea to think she was.
Nope, not greedy at all.

“Not in my room, you don’t drown! I have these helmets that allows you to breath and fashionable cement slippers to help hold you down to the ground in case you float.” Bea smiled warmly at Claire. Bea always wanted to have company at her room but there was really nothing for them to do in there if they stayed. Except maybe enjoy watching the assortment of fish swimming about.
“Cupcakes? I can definitely bake a batch or two! Though shouldn’t you eat more of a meal since you’re hungry? Or maybe you’re just hungry for a snack? Or maybe you just want to just taste some food. I know I get that sometimes. Or---“ Bea cut herself off on her tangent, “Oh! I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to ramble on like that.” she giggled and walked over to her kitchen.
With all the supplies Claire offered to her, there was plenty to work off of. “If we have time, I could make a batch of cookies too.” Bea helped herself to the things in the kitchen, flour, sugar, eggs and all that fun stuff and turned on the oven. It didn’t take Bea long to make the batter and made quick of the frosting as well... “Okay! Oven…. preheated… and now we wait!”

Claire's face glowed as Bea worked in the kitchen. "I just like cupcakes! We can share them. Though I warn you that I may eat them all if I'm not careful so we'll have to leave a few to the side where I can't get them. And I ramble a lot too." she replied, watching her cook.
Once the cupcakes were done, Claire helped Bea get them out of the oven and started to eat them after they'd been cooled down by Claire's fan. They tasted delicious and chocolatey! Claire had also put four on the side for Bea, so she wouldn't go hungry.
"Thank you for cooking for me, Bea! They are delicious! Here are four for you~" she said happily, passing the four in a box to Bea. She also gave Bea a hug, which actually looked rather cute due to Claire's small size. "Thank you again!"

The cupcakes turned out wonderfully perfect! Bea was so delighted to see Claire enjoying the cupcakes so much. "You're very welcome, Claire. You're just too cute!" Bea hugged Claire back with all happy goodness. "Thanks for letting me bake for you! Let's do this again sometime!"
Even though it was brief, Claire left a really good impression on Bea. She left her dorm gaining a new friend.
