Were Twin Towers felled by chemical blasts?

This is a really elegant explanation for all of the accounts of explosions, demolition, etc. What do you guys think?

Octane is a chemical and a fire is a chemical reaction. Now if you want to say that the jet fuel didn't cause the collapse, then that's your opinion.

The article above is proposing that the burning jet fuel melted the aluminum aircraft bodies and caused them to flow down through the buildings, eventually coming into contact with the water used in the fire suppression systems. This water-molten aluminum mixing would have caused violent explosions.

I thought the explanation was interesting because not only is it not far from the official story (only in the specific mechanism) but it also explains the reports of explosions after the initial impacts and possibly the "controlled demolition" look of the collapses. I know there are a lot of people here that don't buy the official story so I'm curious to see how they feel about this relatively mundane (but still alternate) explanation.

There is an elementary pyro explanation for the explosions. It's called a flashover. Fire needs 2 sources of fuel (Oxygen usually one of them) and heat. When there is let's say a room with no air, but it's very hot and maybe doused in Jet fuel, then all you need is air to reach the area (Called a backdraft) and you have a bomb. This is what a backdraft can do.

We'll probably never know either way. My understanding was that the official story was that the planes hit, the jet fuel was consumed in the fire, and that in turn weakened the steel structure of the buildings resulting in the collapse of the towers. It doesn't seem to address any explosions at all aside from the initial impacts. Granted I've never read the 9/11 Commission Report.

Well... If human thoughts are the biproduct of electromagnetic and chemical reactions, then I'd say it's a good start.
