Shade was on babysitting duty. babysitting. The large monotone stallion snorted, thinking this a insult if anything else, he was a hunter, he was a ranger, he was a scavenger... he was certainly not a wet nurse. Some might see it a honor to be trusted with the safety of the packs future ruler, yet for him it was a chore and a total waste of his time. Lea was off with Evan, with any luck she would hurry up. After all what did they have to talk about. He should have fraught him, then the pack would not be in the sorry state it was. He turned to the filly and huffed. "Your Momma is out there selling your soul little lamb, your destiny begins today." He stated with a small smirk, his eyes hidden under his thick black hair.

Sheria was too busy crawling in the underbush, getting her tail and shaggy coat caught in the twigs as she edged further to a rabbit that was nibbling at blades of grass on the other side. Her ears laid back against her head and her eyes held concentration on the creature ahead. She was almost there when... It scampered off at the huge huff that left her baby sitters mouth. "Shaaaaaaade!!! I WAS ALMOST THERE! What did you do that for!" She pouyted, jumping up to her hooves and getting tangled in the bush. "Ow, ow, ow!" She finally tumbled out of it then shook her coat with an unamused gaze. "Selling my soul? You have a dark sense of humor Shade. Where is your sense of fun, don't be so gloomy." She smiled, trotting over to him with a wag of her tail.

Shade snorted and raised a hoof giving her a light kick, just enough to knock he little foal legs off balance. One day she would be alpha but right now she was at the bottom of the pecking order. "Grow up, I am sorry to say you lost the right to a childhood the moment your brother lost to that freak." He stated amused, she was nothing like Lea. He wondered where she had got such a personality from, she was unlike anyone else in the pack. "Who said I was trying to be funny? It am dead serious little lamb, your mother is meeting your future lover. You know what is expected of you do you not?" He asked with a devilish smirk.

Sheria hopped off to one side when kicked, falling on to her side with an 'oomph' she lifted her head to look at him, blinking blankly. "Now was there any need, really? You're so mean." She stared at him some, she had been told what her future had in store however it never sunk in even as much as they tried to drill the severity in to her. "Brother says not to listen to your lies and that my 'lover' is a good guy." She sighed, getting to her feet. "I don't care. I don't have a choice, so what is the point in worrying over it?" She tilted her head, she tried not to think about it. It was daunting but exciting in a way and she had already tried going off in search of him because they made her more curious ever passing minute but being watched all the time made that hard to do. "You're just jealous because you're all lonely." She stuck her tongue out at him and chuckled.

Shade snorted and lowered his head to her level. "Idiot, that stallion is not your lover. He is your target. You are to go along with this, smile and be the obedient little pup. Then when you earn his trust you are going to open his throat and then we are going to launch our attack. Never mistake him for your lover, you are a wolf and he is a imp." He wanted to make sure she was very clear on that, him and Lea had already come up with a plan and he was not going to let her ruin it. A lot rested on this girls shoulders, he would raise to know her destiny. "Your brother had been blinded by his own heart, do not make the mistake he did. That thing almost killed your brother because he let his feelings blind him. Say it, you are a wolf." He demanded.

Sheria's eyes widened at the tone he was taking with her. She was never scared of being left alone with Shade he had never taken it this much to heart. She stepped back and looked away. The thought of hurting someone who had done nothing wrong to her was unbelievable, she wasn't sure she could do it but she had do because she had to 'obey.' Yet her brother said one thing and her mother and Shade always said another. She didn't know what to do! She looked to the side, with sad eyes and nodded. "I am a wolf... I'm a strong, intelligent killing machine with no emotions and do what is best for the pack. Always what is best for the pack." She whispered. "And you." She looked back up at him. "Are no fun at all. Brother was right."

"Do you not love the pack? You hunt with us, we howl a the moon and look out for each other. They are going to destroy your family Sheria, you need to save it because we are the only ones who will ever love you. We are one, we always will be." He explained in a somewhat lighter tone before he hugged and chuckled. "Your brother lies, I am a lot of fun maybe when you are a little older I will show you how much fun I can be." He winked before nudging her with his nose. She was so unstable. "Now how about we go and show that rabbit who is boss, you are not going to let it win are you?" He smirked.

"I do love the pack and you too but you can be a little scary sometimes." She admitted as he hugged and nosed her. Although missing out the meaning of his wink and just thinking that was just a silly boy thing that she didn't quite understand she skipped on to hearing 'rabbit' and then grinned. "Really!? YES. Lets go get that fluffball! It won't get away this time!" She chuckled as she spun on her hooves, turned tail and darted in the direction it ran off in. "Think you can keep up!?" she called back. Maybe he could be some fun... When he wasn't nagging.

Could he keep up? That was a understatement, she was tiny and her legs were not even strong yet, he jogged after the wolf pup. Maybe the sooner he could get her hooked on the taste of blood the sooner she would start acting like a wolf. "We are all scary, you just have not gained your fangs yet, just aim to strike fear into the heart of that rabbit. Then maybe one day you will be able to strike fear into the hearts of men." He smirked, eyes scanning around for movement in the bushes. "Do you want that, for people to respect and fear you as much as they do your mother?" He asked.

Sheria skidded in the dirt to shove her nose in to the bush, looking through the gaps to see if she could spot anything through the others. "My family scary? Hehe you sure about that? Ulfric is always saying, lame, lame, lame. Nori is a big softy and mum... Wait people fear mum?" She brought her head up quickly at this and looked at him. Walking closer in curiosity. "Why? I'd like the same respect... Of course. Mum is a good leader but how can you be respected if others fear you? wouldn't fear create hate?"
