▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄ Fai merrily walked down the hallway, smiling as he stared at a piece of paper. The floor creaked underneath his feet. He arrived at a door looking up from the piece of paper, which his slid into his white and navy blue stripped jacket. A gust of cold air brushed past him as he cracked the door open. There seemed to be no one there, though he know the right thing to do was knock first, but it was too late now.
Stepping into the room, Fai noticed there were 3 beds which to him could only mean there would be another person joining him. Seeing the kitchen, Fai's expression lit up--more than normal anyways. Normally he always wore a masking smile to keep people away, but cooking always make him feel better about everything.▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄

 Wandering through the hallways he comes upon the door Bittersweet. Knocking as he opens the door, "Hello? Sorry to intrude but I'm your roommate." Seeing someone already in here he walked up to him and held out his hand, his new charm bracelet jingling as he did so. "Hello sir, I am Zurrek Eizenheart Grey and I am to be your new bunk mate." His dog Tobi walking in behind him sits just to his left and watches the other boy in the room.

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄ Fai turned as he heard the door open and watched the boy come in. Smiling politely, Fai listened as the boy had stated his name. "Nice to meet you Zurrek," he said shaking his hand, "Fai Daniel Acey. Pleasure to meet you." Letting go of the boys hand, Fai grabbed onto the straps of his backpack and looked at the dog standing next to Zurrek. "Beautiful dog."▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄

Glancing down at Tobi, "Thank you, he has been my little guardian for the past 5 years now." Looking around at the new dorm he was taken back a bit at how nice it looked. 'I'm going to love to get used to this kind of living.' A big smile appeared on his face, "Which room would you like?"

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄ The wizard shook his shrugged. "It doesn't matter to me." he said, a fake smile still plastered on his face. Even though Zurrek seemed like a nice guy, Fai didn't seem comfortable around him. He found himself playing with a feather necklace with a bead connecting the feather and long tan strip of leather. It had been a Christmas present from his foster parents the first year he lived with them. Fai quickly stopped hoping Zurrek won't notice.
"Do you want anything to eat?" he asked setting his backpack down on the floor and stepped into the kitchen. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄

Hearing Fai mention food he'd just realized how hungry he actually was. "Oh, yes please. I'm sure whatever you make will be delicious." Sitting down at the table he began to fiddle with and examine his new charm bracelet, not realizing how serious he looked at the moment. 'Can this little thing really help me with my wind? Only time can tell I hope.'

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄ Unzipping one of the pockets of his bag, Fai pulled out an apron and tied it on. He opened the refrigerator and looking inside. There wasn't much be he could make due with what was in there. Since it was still morning he guessed and egg and some bacon would be good enough for now. Later, he decided to go out and buy some more groceries.
He pulled out 2 pan, both with a little oil, and cracked 2 egg placing them into one pan and 7 strips of bacon in the other. After a few minutes, everything was ready and placed on a plate. The 2 eggs and 5 strips of bacon was place in front of Zurrek with a knife and fork. The other, with 2 strips, placed in front of Tobi.
Stepping back, Fai smiled. "Well I hope you enjoy." he said, then started to wash the dishes he'd used.▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄

Looking at the eggs and bacon like it was a meal for a king he couldn't help but smile at Fai with appreciation. Digging in, it was an amazing flavor that bought back memories of when he was with friends and loved ones. Forgetting to watch his emotion, as he was eating a chill breeze came through. "Thank you Fai. It's been so long since I've had a good cooked meal like that."Tobi, finishing his bacon as well, barks happily and goes to lay down in the middle of the living room for a nap.

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄ As Zurrek finished his plate, Fai smiled a little for real this time as he picked up his and Tobi's plates. "Well I'm really glad you enjoyed it." He quickly finished wash the dishes and sat down in a chair.▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄

Sitting down on the couch, absentmindedly staring into space, "So if I may ask. What is it that you're able to do? I'm able to control wind if you didn't already figure that out from the accidental breeze I made just before." Fiddling with the bracelet, "I still have a long way to go, but hopefully I'll be able to have friends help me along the way."

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄ Fai looked down somewhat that the table. His so called great powers were--to him--nothing be a curse. "I'm a wizard." he hesitantly said. "I specialize in attack magic, as well as creation and transport." He gave a little laugh as he looked at Zurrek. "Just don't come to me if your wounded. I can't do anything about that."
He thought Zurrek was lucky. It wasn't like wind killed anyone, or destroyed the user deep inside. Pain. Confusion. They were terms Fai was all to familiar with. He'd never let anyone know this, forcing himself to be cautious at all times, even now.▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄

"Wow, an attack magic wizard. That sounds so strong." As his eyes sparkled with wonder at Fai, he was deeply impressed. "Oh! Before I forget to mention it, since we're roomies, if you ever see me without Tobi or this bracelet is glowing red please approach with caution. Without my safeguards my emotions can run wild destroying basically whatever I'm in and around. I can't have any more mishaps happen like it almost happened today." A sadden look crept upon his face as a single tear ran down. 'I'll never let that happen again.' Quickly wiping the tear away his cheerful composure reappeared.

▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄ Watching Zurrek, Fai realized that in a way the two of them were not so different. Both of them used some sort of cooping mechanism, yet he knew Zurrek was exposing to much, in Fai 's mind at least. All he could do was nod. "Alright, I'll be careful." he said, a relaxed expression with a smile played his face. He noticed the tear down his face.
Fai went over and stood in front of Zurrek. "Everything is going to be alright." He slid his hands in his jean pockets. "There are people who will protect you." he said, though Fai didn't really believe his own words. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄

"Would you know of the closest place to get new clothing? I'm in desperate need of a few more outfits." Patting his clothes a bit, some dust goes flying off. Standing up he started to stretch his legs in preparation for the clothing store.
