Parisette bounced a little as she walked, her tail flicking behind her to some beat that no one else could hear. Even as an adult with adult children, the female had not lost her bubbly personality, though she had aged to grow more reserved at times, but not now. Now was the time to have fun.
The blue lioness was nearing the edge of the groundling's forest, not quite entering, just skirting the edges. She had nothing against the forest, really, her daughter lived in there, but...even since the issue with the lost cubs, she had felt anxious about entering, so instead she stayed at the edge, trying to spot her daughter's bright pelt.
They hadn't made plans to meet, but still, Parisette was optimistic that she might stumble upon the female, or one of the other groundlings. Perhaps they would help her with a play or something? She mused, the idea intriguing her.

 Nyx playfully batted at her brother’s tail as they walked through the forest. Identical to him the lioness could have easily been mistaken for her brother had she a mane. “Nooox~” Drawing out his name teasingly the lioness moved up to brush against her brother, “Where are we headed? I thought you wanted to stay out longer.” “The pride is up ahead and we are players now.” Shaking his head with a faint smile at his sister’s antics the male pushed forward. “Can’t you just relax?” “Not really. I wanna perform with the groundlings again. They’re fun to play with unlike those stuck up nobles.” Laughing softly the lioness skipped ahead while quoting script from memory, “Alas, alas brother~” “Nyx.” The single word was enough to make the lioness stop. Pausing she looked back to her brother before turning around in time to notice the other figure up ahead. “Oh.” Her mouth formed the word in surprise as she noticed the other female for the first time, “Hello there~ What are you doing around here?”

Parisette glanced up in surprise, amused at the sounds of an approaching pair. She half expected a couple, but they pair looked too similar to be a couple. Must be related. In fact, seeing them closer, they must have been twins. Quite remarkable, she remarked inwardly, casting them a bright smile.
“Hello!” She called back. “Oh, just taking a walk, seeing if I could spot my daughter in the forest, but it seems she’s off doing whatever it is those wonderful groundlings do when they’re not in our sight.” She giggled lightly. Her daughter had always been a playful, free spirit, so she had no problem with the groundlings, like some might.
“What are you two doing?” She asked, smiling.

“Oooh?” Nyx grinned at the other lioness, “So you’re just a wandering mother then? Darn, I suppose it will have to do. Though I really find the idea of a wandering lover much more interesting, don’t you Nox?” Her gaze gleamed with amusement as she lightly bumped his side.
“Don’t mind her.” Nox shook his head lightly at his twin’s antics, “So you’re daughter is a groundling then? That’s interesting.”
“Interesting enough.” Mused Nyx looking back at Parisette, “We’re wandering through ourselves in search of groundlings. In search of the world of the wood where amusement and laughter is easily found~”
“We’re players, but we play out here as well.” Translated her twin with light amusement, “As it is we are still new to the pride. My name is Nox and this is my twin Nyx.”

Parisette's eyes flicked between the pair, obviously twins considering their similarities in appearance, and the way they talked, complimenting each other verbally. It was lovely to see. Parisette always longed to be a twin - it would have made things so much more...exciting, but she supposed her life was not really 'dull' at this point, even without a twin.
"Sorry to disappoint," she said to Nyx, smiling at her with a soft laugh, but she nodded at Nox. "Ah, yes! Aureliana was always far more suited for the groundling way of life than she was any other calling in the pride." She peered at the pair. "Oh, you must see if you can find Aureliana then. She's similiar in markings to me, though she is purple and blue, with these stripes of gold - inherited from her father, of course. She'd be happy to to show you around the forest, if you needed it."
She perked up at the idea of them being players. "Oh, fabulous!" She gushed. "I do so love seeing players join the pride! It is a pleasure to meet you both. I am Parisette, also a Player in the pride, though I was born here." She had visited the rogue lands a couple of times though, earlier on to visit her mother, and later in life to simply explore. She preferred home though.

Nyx smiled back at the other lioness. She was already beginning to like this one. “That’s an easy choice when it comes to things.” Her violet gaze gleamed with amusement as she looked over at her twin. Both of them found it hard to leave the forest, but the stage always called to them in the end. Maybe one day it wouldn’t win over their desires, but for now…and for a long time it would continue to be their anchor.
“We might try.” Nox nodded, “I don’t believe we’ve seen one like her yet, but when we meet her-“
“Though we might not need a tour, but some amusement would be nice.” She laughed, “I mean company of course.”
“Ah.” Nox looked over at his twin. The reaction was just as he had expected it would be to hear that this lioness, Parisette, was also a player. His sister was practically glowing with excitement. He could already speak the next lines in his mind…
“Oh! You are?” She was bouncing with energy now, “We should absolutely perform together sometime then! I love to take the stage with new friends~ Right, Nox?”
Hiding a grin her twin nodded.

Parisette nodded, bouncing happily as they spoke, slightly too childish for her actual age but not caring in the slightest. Her gaze flicked between the two as they alternated speaking, and laughed lightly. "Well, I'm sure Aureliana wouldn't mind providing some entertainment anyway - that would probably capture her attention more than you wanting a tour." Her daughter loved to play, and especially play tricks on people. Her sister's dye abilities came in handy for the purple lioness, and many had woken up with odd colour splotches due to the groundling. Usually family members.
Parisette beamed at the pair, mimicking Nyx's energy and exuberance. "Definately! I am always happy to perform with people! Ohh, what is your favourite kind of plays?" She couldn't help but ask. "Personally, I love tragedies, especially of the romantic kind." She giggled. "But I do so love my drama."

“Sounds like a lovely plan.” Nyx was beaming with happiness. Especially if this other lioness was definitely into the normal sort of entertainment that most groundlings went for. The thought made her grin. There were definitely tricks to be played~
Nox could already tell the wheels were working in his sister’s mind. He could already imagine the multitude of tricks that she was plotting. “Bless the poor victims.” He whispered softly before smiling up at his sister’s sudden look. “Nothing.”
“Mmm’hmm.” Sighing Nyx looked back over at Parisette, “I’m glad to hear that!” Laughing softly she nodded, “I love my dramas. Comedies are fun as well…” She frowned, “Is there a play I hate performing?”
Nox shook his head, “Not really. Though you often hold back on the romantic tragedies.”
“Oh yes.” Nyx flushed, “Only cause you play those roles so much better brother.”
Here Nox gave a thankful nod. He was pretty fond of romantic tragedies after all.

"Wonderful!" Parisette chirpped happily, shooting the pair a grin. Hopefully they found Aureliana as delightful and entertaining as Parisette did.
Focusing on the conversation of types of play, Parisette giggled. "Oh, that is such a good thing, to not have plays you are unwilling to play! It limits the mind so much." She nodded, almost somberly but perked up at Nox's words. "You like romantic tragedies? Wonderful! We need more males prepared to play those. Sometimes the boys can get a bit...iffy about romance, which is just silly, don't you think?" She shook her head with a laugh.
"Perhaps we will play opposite each other one day," Parisette couldn't help but tease a little, winking at Nox jokingly.

Nyx smiled at the other lioness. Something about her energy was just catching. Not to mention that she usually held plenty of her own as it was. “I believe so as well! The best goal for an actor is to reach the success of having a thousand masks after all.” She smiled over at her twin. “Though I’m sure with help I could one day reach beyond even that goal.”
The lion looked over at his twin with a shared smile before blinking over at Parisette, “Ah.” He nodded, “I suppose so. It’s another natural thing and a very serious matter in acting.” The lion chuckled, “I see finding romance in a character as a challenge to be taken.”
“Also known as he doesn’t believe in love just yet, but loves playing it.” Teased Nyx lightly.
Shaking his head at her Nox just shrugged, “As it is I wouldn’t mind playing opposite of you, milady.”
Nyx nudged her brother with a laugh, “Stop being such a player, you player~” Still she paused. “Oh! That reminds me. We should probably head back to practice. They might not like missing their actors for the production.” Looking back over at Parisette she grinned, “It was a pleasure meeting you. If you come to our play we would be delighted as well!” Turning she started off leaving Nox to smile one last time at the lioness.
“It would be our pleasure indeed. Tonight under the full moon does it begin.” Nodding he too turned and headed after his twin.

Parisette nodded at the female's words. "Ah, but one must be careful not to lose themself completely in a role. A thousand masks but only one true face," Parisette mused. "It is easy to forget sometimes." She smiled at the female.
Her eyes drifted to Nox, and nodded. "It is a challenge, but one worth taking," she had to agree, smiling at the pair as Nyx teased Nox about not believing in love. Ah! The pride would change that, Parisette was sure. Someone would catch the male's eye, surely, and despite her teasing, Parisette was sure it wouldn't be her. She had little interest in a relationship with another player - too boring. She giggled at his words though, pleased at the name 'milady', and his sisters subsequent teasing.
"I would be delighted to come to your play! Expected to see me in the crowd then!" Parisette smiled warmly at the pair, bowing her head in farewell as they walked off.
Ooh, she did love getting new Players! So much fun to be had, so much mystery to unfold, so much...drama! She giggled, and turned away.
