Well this wasn't so hard. After getting both the Ren and Roch interview out of the way, Danny was feeling rather confident. She just had to ask some questions, and then she got food. Well no, that had just been before, but hey, it could always happen again right?
Today she was on the hunt for the elusive Pepin. Honestly she had only seen the ghoul in class, and she had never once talked to her. She looked really cool though, her body all glitchy and weird. It was something that Danny couldn't comprehend in the least, and was perfectly happy that way.
The only problem was that Danny didn't really have any idea where to look. She had no clue what species Pepin was, other than "black and white computer thingy." Somehow it didn't seem like that would show up on the school registry. Of course, Danny could always attempt. Would attempt.
She decided to go for the next best thing, the club room. She had done some "digging" (which was just going to office and looking where they met), and found out that the paranormal post met in room x in the main hallway, and had decided to venture in there. "Helllooooo," she said, perhaps a bit louder than she should have, "Is anybody heeeeere?"

The newspaper room was dark but the door had been unlocked, which was highly unusual for anybody in cahoots with the club's leader. Pepin would never risk anyone getting into their workshop unannounced but today must've... maybe been different?
In the back corner of the room a computer screen appeared illuminated but was covered by a sheet like the others. It was enough to keep the room from glowing and only the reflective material of the giant printer caught small glints from the monitor. Underneath it flickered and flashed with an unrecognizable set of pixels. Did someone forget to turn the thing off?

Danny was just about to leave when she noticed a flickering of a monitor. It was a good thing she was a fire demon, because the dark would've been really annoying at this point. She created a tiny fireball, casting light over a good portion of the room. Natural abilities rocked pretty hard.
Creeping over to the computer, she removed the sheet, expecting a monster to jump out at her in some hilarious prank (which she probably would have just laughed along with), and held her hands up defensively.
Nope, nothing. Danny tapped the screen a few times, and then shrugged. Must've just been a computer someone left on. Danny wasn't about to fiddle with it; it's not like she could do anything right? The whole screen was just a bunch of pixels she didnt understand, so any fiddling would've just resulted into a broken computer.
Shrugging, Danny began to walk away, like nothing had ever happened.

As soon as the sheet was lifted from the screen the flickering began to die down to a minimum. When Danny began to turn away, a figure crawled slowly out of the screen and lurked along the dark floor in a flurry of darkened noise and pixels until it began to rise.
Black clawed hands reached out and touched Danny on the neck and shoulder.
"Trying to steal some of our equippment, EH??!" Pepin hissed in an eight-bit like tone before clicking her shoe's heel to the floor loudly. In all actuality she was having to look up just a tad at the taller ghoul.

Unfortunately for Pepin, Danny was completely numb to the whole "jump out from behind them say boo" type of gig. All she did was turn around and go "WOOOOAH. YOU WERE IN THE COMPUTER THAT'S SO COOL OH MY JACK SHOW ME HOW SHOW ME HOWWWWW."
Danny threw her hands over her mouth to contain her excitement, but her crescented eyes gave away her excitement. She wanted to learn to computer jump too! That would be so useful for scaring Roch when he was on groanspring or something!!
Then Pepin spoke. Rather blatantly, Danny replied, "Nope, I'm here to interview Pepin!"

Pepin's eyes fizzled in a wild array of noise as the demoness turned around. They narrowed momentarily while the ghost leaned all her weight onto one hip. "So those eyes in the back of your head they're under your hair right?" The ghoul angrily reached back behind Danny's head and clawed around for a pair of oculars. "I'll teach you to come into my newsroom an-"
Suddenly she stopped and stepped back. "Interview? Interview for what?" While the club had their first exercise as interviewing one another Pepin was not expectant of being at the other end of the interviewing.
She also had no intentions of turning on the lights just yet- while it wasn't a total secret there were scraps and pieces of work lying around for the first article.

At Pepin's comment, Danny's hands immediately flew up and touched the back of her head, clearly searching for the eyes. "I have eyes on my head? Get them off, get them offffff," she whined. Had they somehow gotten in her hair when she was eating that eyeball tea earlier?
Her hands went back down to her side when Pepin mentioned the interview again. "Oh! Um ... right right! I have to interview for the yearbook! For uhhh ..." Danny's mouth stayed gaping open. Was she trying to catch flies?
No, she had forgotten what club this was. She looked around the room for some sort of clue. Waving her small fireball around, she noticed lots of papers. Some of them seemed to say something. What was that? Para ... Para ...
"For Paragon Fost," she said proudly. Illiteracy + Darkness was never a good idea. Continuing, she said, "I have to interview the president! Who isss ... Pepin!"

Yearbook? How spectacularly exciting. All it really took was for Danny to mention 'yearbook' and Pepin was sold. "One second."
Pepin made sure the demoness stayed still before she floated over to the light switch and flicked it on. All it revealed were the devices inside covered by sheets anyway but the floor was now clearly littered with papers and drafts of varying things. Although the club had hardly begun the room looked as though it had gotten a great amount of use.
Jumping right ahead into the 'interview', Pepin lifted her arms and leaned to her hip in pose. "This is the Paranormal Post workroom and I? Am its master, Pepin Molyneau."

Danny applied the appropriate "oohs" and "ahs" as the lights came on and lit up the room in such a dramatic fashion. It seemed quite a deal brighter, so Danny crushed the fireball within her own hand, eliminating its presence from the room at all.
As Pepin explained, Danny did her best to scribble down every word she said. Well the first objective was down- she had to get the Club's president name into an interview. Check.
The second part, the actual interview, wasn't so easy. Danny was finding it easier to ask the people the questions now, it was just hard sometimes to interpret what they were saying. Danny was determined to do her best though, however minimal that "best" standard was.
"Oh um. I'm Danny, Master of ... Nothing really I guess. I mean I don't own anything or anyone really ..." Well the air of formality was officially gone now. Danny tapped her pen nervously and coughed awkwardly. Right. Well then. "So ... the first thing is that I'm supposed to get an information blurb about what your club is, what it does, things like that." This wasn't going to be hard right?
Further gesturing with her hands, Danny said, "Amrita said to talk about things like concept and aim ... and uhm .. what was that last one." Danny scratched her head awkwardly. P .... Parrot .... Porcupine ... Pu ... "PURPOSE!" she exploded. That was the last one, right!

"Then let me start by asking you a question-" Pepin began in a serious tone. "Explain to me... what you think we do. What do you think we do?" she asked. By no means was the ghost being a smart a**. For the benefit of her own club image she had to ask this complete stranger in her workshop what it appeared like.
Needless to say Danny's report would likely end convoluted if Pepin marinated it with her own fantasy of what her newspaper shop was like. "Conceptually speaking what does a room like this read to you? Do you think we are serious or silly about what we do?"
At this point Pepin was beginning to do her idle chat float where her rear end lifted on its own and eventually forced the ghost belly-up.
"Paranormal Post has a very distinct purpose but is it a good one? Or is it a bad one? Is it even a purpose at all?" The glitch was shuddering in and out of focus as she asked the demoness obnoxious ghost questions.
