Danny had decided that today was a good day for pumpkin sunbathing, which meant it was a terrible day for the gardening staff. Her tail flicking around on the grass like that was never a good thing. She had already burned quite a few teensy patches, it was a real wonder that the whole school hadn't burned down yet.
Despite the season being clearly fall, it was one of those rare days in fall when the pumkin sun decided it was going to shine brighter than the average day. It was something like summer heat, though definitely not as intense.
For her sunbathing pleasure, she had decided to throw on some shorts and her signature orange bikini, and just go lay in the sun on a towel. Eventually she ended up on her stomach with her head on her arms, lightly breathing and being half asleep.
Lucky for Danny though, she had sunglasses so as to not hurt herself by looking into the sun (she definitely would) and Gamyiel to keep her awake so that her tail wouldn't droop down into the grass. Gamyiel, it seemed though, was also sprawled out on the grass, in a mimicry of his owner, trying to catch some sunrays of his own.
"Thiz iz niiiize huh Geeeeeee," she slurred at her little treat. Gamyiel gave a half nod in response, clearly happy with Danny's decision for today.

Deacon hadn't really dubbed it a good day for anything, other than aimlessly wandering the grounds since he had nothing better to do at the time. Riyo had effectively locked herself away in her dorm and stopped answering his text messages a long time before.
He was bored, and that was dangerous.
Hands stuffed into his pockets, the tabby's pawed feet were silent as he strode over the lawn. In afterthought, it was rather hot to be wearing dress pants outside, but shorts were not nearly as elegant.
Overhearing Danny's slurring voice nearby, without entirely knowing who it was, the fact that he sounded like a ghoul was the only reason he needed to investigate. Ears perking toward the source of her voice, he smirked to himself and veered off of his previously undetermined course.
It hadn't taken him long to find her, considering she wasn't going anywhere.
And, once he had, he was pleased with the view. Ghouls should wear short shorts every day. Forever. He was convinced of this.
He didn't even say anything to her, and just kinda loomed a couple of feet away in a spot that wouldn't obstruct her light. That wasn't creepy at all, right?chimarii [Better late than never, right? I'M SO SORRY. D;]

If there was a boil there, Danny didn't even notice. She was too busy loving up all this sun. Sunnnn. Danny saw so little of it at Amityville that this was a freakin' blessing from Jack himself.
She cooed little noises to her treat and pet him gently, to which Gamyiel responded with little treat purrs. This day was just so great. SO GREAT.
Eventually her back got too hot and she had to flip over. At least to her side- laying on her back with wings would be a tad ... well awkward.
"Ohhhhh," she said, looking at the cat boil that had appeared near her, "Kiiiiiiiitty." She was already reaching for his ears, even though she was quite a few feet apart. Her arms could stretch, right?Hitsuzen dude no worries at all! mind if we make this post-christmas meta?
