Life can teach a person many things, the question is: Do you listen?
Avalon walked down a pathway enjoying the cool weather as fall had just begun. He looked up to see the clouds starting to darken and sighed. Rain would be fine, that he didn't mind. It was the noise that drove him insane. It was something that had always bothered him and he could never shake the fear of thunder. He looked up once more, there was always the possibility it wouldn't be thunder and it would just be rain. He sighed as he shook his head, here he was a grown fox worried about a little noise. How pathetic.
He moved towards a nearby tree in the sun and laid down losing himself to the scenery. The trees always comforted him and laying in the sun was just as relaxing. He let out a yawn as he looked to the leaves. They would be changing soon and then winter would settle in with the glorious blanket of snow that would cover everything.

 Yoka was lost once again.He had walked till he was lost but he didnt mind.Though the only thing he rally did mind was the fact that he was cold thanks to the seasons changing.He looked up at the sky to see it was also now going to cry.He just sighed.He wasn't having much luck today.He looked up ahead to see a all white noodle.Hopeing to make a new friend he ran up after it. "Hello?"He called once he was close enough to be heard.He liked to meet new people when he was out and about.He was sweet that way after all. He hoped it wasn't some evil Noodle who would hurt him.With his luck lately it wouldn't be to strange to him.He put on a smile and hopes for the best since it was all he could do.He liked to be nice to them no matter what any ways.

Avalon looked up to see a mostly gray noodle coming towards him. As the male got closer he could see that this noodle looked as if his face had been spray painted with eye a deep purple, it was very interesting. He stood and smiled at the male. "Hello. Are you lost?" He paused as the rain began to fall in fat drops. He cursed under his breath and looked his companion. "This way!" He walked down the pathway just a bit father before reaching a cave. "We can stay dry in here. What is your name?" He shook out his fur quickly.

Yoka smiled once he was spoke too. "Yes i am...a little bit....ok a lot"He chuckled lightly until it started to rain on him. "Ah come on."Once the noodle said to fallow him he did running right behind him the whole way till they both made it into the cave. "Thank you very much.I owe you after this.I'm Yoka.Who might you be?"He shock himself trying to dry off as well.He was now very cold and shrived lightly as he sat down.He was cold before but now he was extremely cold.

He smiled at Yoka lightly, "My name is Avalon, and you don't owe me anything." He stretched before he looked over a Yoka. He was shivering. He walked over and sat close to him. "No point in us freezing in here. So Yoka, do you often get yourself lost?" His body jolted slightly as thunder crashed overhead.

Yoka was so happy that this guy seemed so nice. "Are you sure?"He felt like he had to do something for him since he was so nice to him.Once he sat close to him he couldn't help but to cuddle close since he was so cold.He didn't take cold weather very well at all.He moved even closer when the other jumped. "Yah...It happens a lot.I think then i just walk till i stop thinking about things and then i notice that i'm not where i thought i was any more.you dont like storms do you?"He didn't like seeing the other scared it made him want to look after him for now.

Avalon smiled lightly when Yoka cuddled close it was comforting considering the storm. He looked at the fox against him and chuckled, "I have to say that I'm glad that you did get lost. I like having company." At the mention of storms he nodded, "I don't like the noise." He could admit to disliking it, he wouldn't admit to his fear of it. His pride got in the way of that. He calmed down though as he rested his head gently on Yoka's. "Tell me about yourself Yoka."

Yoka smiled as he cuddled back.He had too say he was kinda cute. "I love company my self.So i'm glad i came across you."nuzzled him lightly. "Well its ok.I'm here."He smiled more as the other rested on him.He had never felt so liked before.He liked this a lot and could easily get use to it. "Well i guess you could say i'm a wanderer.My parents left me when i was young.I never knew them."He looked at him. "Got any questions for me?"

Avalon smiled lightly at the nuzzle and was able to relax fully. "What do you like to do for fun?" It seemed Yoka was a very affectionate person. He didn't mind at all. He jolted slightly with the next clap of thunder frowning that he was such a coward when it came to something so simple. He shut his eyes to try and relax but his fur still stood on edge.

Yoka thought for a little bit before speaking. "I guess these walks.I like seeing new places and new people."The poor noodle was scared and he could tell so her wrapped his tail around the other. "What do you like to do for fun Avalon?"He wanted to know more about this cutie.He couldn't help but to think he was so cute.

Avalon shut his eyes and leaned against Yoka. It was annoying to have his weakness so utterly displayed when he had just met him. "I like to read and lay in the sun." He yawned slightly, "Meeting people is fun too I guess... it all depends..." He looked at Yoka, "What don't you like? You already know I don't like thunder..." He probably seemed like such a wimp right now and that just irritated him.

Yoka was so relaxed and at peace right now while talking to him.He didn't want this calmness to end any time soon. "I enjoy being out in the sun as well."He liked the warmth of the sun so much.He nodded at his other reply. "as you can tell i don't like to be cold in any way.I hate bee's...i get stung all the time and see other people sad and i hate people who leave their children."His tail moved every now and then. "Anything else you dont like?"He felt bad for the other.

"I can't stand bullies and people who don't care for their children are assholes." This was a simple and matter-of-fact statement that had no retraction on this point. He nuzzled Yoka, "Still cold?" He was attracted to this noodle. He was sweet, kind and a little on the shy side. He liked that. It made him want to protect him and keep him safe. He wrapped his tail around Yoka urging him closer.

Yoka smiled and cuddled in close to him.He now was so happy that someone shared his views on that matter. "I'm glad to know that someone who feels the same about the matter.My Parents left me.So i could never do that to my children."He couldn't get close enough to the other.He wanted to stay nice and nuzzled into him. "No not no more thanks to you."He was thinking about giving the other a peck on the check but was to scared to.He didn't want to be rejected by him.

He smiled and lightly pecked his cheek just to catch a reaction form the darker noodle. Yoka was such a shy thing... hopefully he didn't pass out. "If you want me I'll be here for you..." his words were soft and sincere. True he hadn't met many noodles, but Yoka seemed to need him. The thought was selfish, he knew, but he wanted to stay like this. Comfortable and calm, he didn't even notice the next crash of lightning.
