Shimogakure hospital is a place that is sacred to the village, it's also the most beautiful place to visit as a injured person. The hospital is relativly small compared to other village's hospitals, it has three wings, A, B, and C. The A wing is for the sick, the B wing is the injured, and the C wing is for the Mentally Insane. The Gyoukage's brother works here as a head medic.

Quote: Sera glanced up at her instructor but he shook his head, "No, you need to do this one youself... hold her hand and tell me what is wrong with her..." He said offering a smile to the woman who smiled back and offered the young girl her hand.
"Don't worry, little one..." The woman offered her hand.
Sera's eyes widened as she looked up at her teacher and then back at the woman, "It's a baby... but what if I had hurt her?" Sera asked fearful about to drop the hand but the woman held it tight.
"But you didn't, little one..." She said softly before turning shining eyes up at her husband, "And it's a girl?" She asked Sera carefully, who nodded after some hesitation..:':. Shindan (Diagnosis) .:':. 1/1 .:':. Padding past where the bed she had done that first diagnosis Sera continued on, her delicate fingers tracing the edge of a sink another memory coming to her. Quote: Sera winced as she blade she was cleaning knicked her skin, she was about to pop the wounded digit into her mouth to suck on when he teacher saw her and came over shaking his head, "Sera, remember how dangerous blood can be..." he said and stood beside her expectant, "Now cleanse it..."
With a guilt look Sera performed the hand signs wincing as the sign for snake pulled at the cut but she finished and then looking at her teacher she sighed and bound the wound before returning to her cleaning duties far more carefully this time however..:':. Kiyomaru (Cleanse) .:':. 1/1 .:':. Quote: Sera took a deep breath before walking into the C Wing, she imagined the taste of her father's curative tonics and shuddered, she performed the signs of the seal praying it was strong enough. She needed it to help prevent her from getting sick, or she would die after another of those drinks. Sure they helped immeasurably with everything she had ever caught but to drink them was hardly worth it. She felt a cool sensation wash though her and she gingerly stepped into the sick room careful not to step unnecessarily close until she came to be bedside she was needed at, but soon enough her fears were all forgotten, taking care of others was what she was meant to do..:':. Teikouryoku (Power of Resistance) .:':. 1/1 .:':. Quote: "Ow!" the man laying on the floor grumbled and whined through the whole procedure as Sera tried with all the strength in her tiny body to work out the knots that had formed when the stupid man had fallen off a ladder he wasn't even supposed to be on in the first place. She was only doing this so he wouldn't get yelled at by Mama when they got home, but she was tempted to stop if he kept carrying on as he was. She had had children who whined less then this, and he was supposed to be a grown up..:':. Shiatsu (Massage) .:':. 1/1 .:':. Quote: Letting the power of her chakra flow down around the glass shard she drew it from the wound making sure not to widen the cut by slicing the skin as it slid out of the cut it had formed going in. Sweat started to bead on her forehead, as she dropped the shard in a little dish beside her, she had been working hard at his for almost an hour and she had the majority of the fifty some shards removed. While others her age were still working on carrying and fetching the teacher would give her tasks such as this to improve her stamina. She got the last shard and with a final glance, cleansed the wound and bound it gently smiling at the woman who had fallen and gotten so many shards lodged in the soft skin of her arm..:':. Tekishutsu (Extraction) .:':. 1/1 .:':. Quote: Older now, Sera at thirteen found some of her sensei's trials mundane at best and irritating at worst, "Why?" she asked looking longingly at the large pile of bandages sitting beside him.
"Becuase you won't always have those..." the man said holding out a pile of leaves and sticks and telling her she needed to make bandages out of them.
Sera sighed and carefully spun her chakra to bind them together, the power was surprisingly draining, and she focused to make sure they would stay for enough time to get the imaginary victim in question back to where real bandages might be kept.
Her teacher smiled and her and her heart sunk moments before his lips formed the words, "Now take these lovely bandages and go patch someone up." He handed her the tray and walked off whistling a pleased tune..:':. Gentai no Jutsu (Bandage Skill) .:':. 1/1 .:':.

Quote: Sera smiled as she stepped into the Clinic grabbing a robe and wrapping it around herself to keep her clothes clean she headed down into one of the rooms and caught sight of a young Academy Student flustered and about to cry standing beside a bed. Sera caught sight of the child's patient's chest exhaled and didn't breath in again; without a second thought Sera hurried over to the patient's side and laid her hand over the girl's throat, her chakra sinking into the skin and in a moment the girl coughed and started breathing again her eyes snapping open as she sat up. Bringing the incident to the attention of a nurse in the area Sera made sure it was well in hand before heading off. It was not her place to correct whatever had happened, as much as she might have wanted to. .:':. Sansokyou Kyuu (Oxygen Supply) .:':. 1/1 .:':.Quote: Settling at the bedside of the woman Sera smiled before reaching out her hand over the infected area, the wound had been bound too tightly and had become infected. While it was not strictly the same, the technique for drawing poison from a wound worked well enough on pus which was as toxic. drop by drop slid up and out of the wound before Sera cast it into a dish, her fingers never touching the greenish slime. She continued until the wound was clean and nodded to the woman, going over the rules for letting the wound breathe she smiled and let a student take over the binding, while she moved onto another patient on the list she was of level to handle. .:':. Dokunuki (Poison Removal) .:':. 1/1 .:':.Quote: Finally done with those assignments she could managed she found a scroll in her box and sighed, with so many students her old teacher had little enough time to go around and unlike most she learned just as well from a scroll as anything else. She scanned over the procedure and then the notes at the bottom of the page written in her Sensei's hand offering additional advice before placing the scroll down and folding her hands before her. .:':. Summon Medical Tools .:':. 1/3 .:':.Quote: Sera closed her eyes and formed the signs, her hands nimble as they whipped through the symbols, she felt a pull as the chakra started for swirl and form the summons but then it fizzled and she felt the wasted power disapate as she leaned forward and looked back at the summons. Summoning was traditionally a much higher level skill, but this was something as simple as an inanimate object so she should be able to manage it without the difficultly she was having. .:':. Summon Medical Tools .:':. 2/3 .:':.Quote: Finally reading her Sensei's notes for the third time she understood, "Don't rush it." Didn't refer to taking a breather before starting training, it meant the signs themselves. Calming her breathing once more she formed the signs more slowly, an almost natural tempo stealing over her as they flowed from her fingers like water. She smiled when where was a small puff and a rolled leather wrap appeared before her; unrolling it gently she smiled at the nearly arranged and newly made medic's tools. A gift from her Sensei, even as busy as he was he still found time for her. .:':. Summon Medical Tools .:':. 3/3 .:':.Quote: Sera sat at the table carefully mixing the ingredients taking an occasional look at the book she was working from and altering the mixture slightly, many of the things she was adding her poisons as well as medicine and she worried about how she would manage to test this concoction without sacrificing a human life. She glanced nervously at the book again and added one last ingredient, before looking down into her dish. A delicate sniff convinced her she would rather toss this down a trash can then into someone's mouth . .:':. Kigusuri Souzou (Medicine Creation) .:':. 1/3 .:':.Quote: Sera frowned at the second batch, which looked far better then the first, but medicine was far from a cosmetic process. She dipped her pinky in the mess and touched the tiniest hint to her tongue, before shuddering as a sensation similar to lightning slammed through her. She coughed and dumped the rest of the batch, but already her hands were shaking, and she felt as if running around the village twice wouldn't be enough to calm her back down. .:':. Kigusuri Souzou (Medicine Creation) .:':. 2/3 .:':.Quote: It took three and a half laps around the village before Sera returned, no longer vibrating with energy but feeling as if she were about to collapse, she decided one more try wouldn't be a miss. Mixing carefully she had a picture perfect paste to test, but she was too tired to risk it for now, heading to a near by couch she collapsed to catch a little rest before testing her 'mild' stimulant. She stared at the ceiling a moment before hauling her much abused body up and trying a pinky taste, she felt her body recover slightly, but she was not as wired as she was before. Sera smiled and put the paste in a vial for later use. .:':. Kigusuri Souzou (Medicine Creation) .:':. 3/3 .:':.Quote: "Concentrate." The voice said from over Sera's shoulder. Sera held her hand over the wound her chakra fluctuating and unstable, it was not easy to realize your chakra outside your body in a solid form. She forced more power into the sphere hoping it would stabilize but the extra force ripped the form and it collapsed dispelling the energy. Sera gasped slightly and leaned forward resting her head on the edge of the bead breathing hard. It was difficult and she was not used to struggling so hard at something. .:':. Chiyute no Jutsu: Karui (Healing Hands Technique: Minor) .:':. 1/3 .:':.Quote: She ignored her teacher when he offered a break; Sera was not one to be beaten by a simple technique. She took a deep breath and dove inside herself martialing her strength, careful and precise as she had learned to be she touched the power at her core and got is spinning, like a breeze on calm day, she monitored it with a touch as light as a feather fall until she had a perfect sphere. .:':. Chiyute no Jutsu: Karui (Healing Hands Technique: Minor) .:':. 2/3 .:':.Quote: The woman in the bed, a volunteer to be practiced on by the students watched the young woman who had gone from frustrated to serious between one moment in the next. She was clearly lost in her inner web and the woman looked up at the teacher who was watching the girl with the same scrutiny, "Are all your students this... fast?" She asked trying to sound joking but part of her worried at a generation of children with a learning curve to match this one's. "Nope." He said smiling as a ball of healing chakra rose out of her body to hover in front of her palm, as Sera opened her eyes once more and focused on repairing the damage, "Just Sera... thank the gods." The woman nodded, grateful for the healing but almost troubled by the speed at which the girl had improved. .:':. Chiyute no Jutsu: Karui (Healing Hands Technique: Minor) .:':. 3/3 .:':.Quote: "Next is two hands." The teacher said, part of his wanted to offer a break, but despite the fatigue in her eyes Sera's face was set; so he didn't even bother. Sera sat focused, it was rare for her to reach such a level of clarity, it was almost eerie how easy it became to focus on one action then the next. Moments ago she couldn't form even the single sphere of chakra and now she was ready for two. It took a moment to form an orb in each hand, almost like the care it took to balance soap bubbles on the end of a wand. .:':. Chiyute no Jutsu (Healing Hands Technique) .:':. 1/3 .:':.Quote: The simile of soap bubbles was accurate as she tried to touch the two together they 'popped' and she was left drained, but the feeling had almost been there and she she needed to try again. She was beginning to feel fatigue but she kept promising herself just a little more and she would let her body rest, drawing on reserves of power she formed the two bubbles once more and slowed her concentration down to quintessentially small movements, almost appearing not to move. .:':. Chiyute no Jutsu (Healing Hands Technique) .:':. 2/3 .:':.Quote: The two forces didn't want to join but she knew she was in control more then her power. With both hands full she did not have the luxury of using her hands as mediums to direct her power, but it was a childish power, one she needed to break and now was the perfect time. Bringing the two forces to bear she felt them struggle and the form tremble but she shored her her mental fortitude and they settled. Smiling in exhausted relief she looked up at her Sensei who studied her with worried eyes, Sera turned to the jutsu she had just mastered and couldn't help but feel a rush of pride. .:':. Chiyute no Jutsu (Healing Hands Technique) .:':. 3/3 .:':.
