 Gabrielle's excitement could be seen at a distance. Today Ashia her guardian for now told her that they would be meeting some friendly people and Azreins. Ashia led her to a beautiful meadow where the grass is green and once sampled would be a tasty treat. There is a lake that looks refreshing. Today the sun is out but some cloudes. At the meadow she meets a lady named Nilah who was very nice to her and once asked showed Gabrielle to a friendly Schuyler.
Gabrielle smiles shyly but sweetly once she saw Schuyler. She was alittle bit afraid she would make a fool out of herself but wanted a friend. She moves forward to sniff Schuyler's scent before taking a step back and bowing her head to him. "A pleasure to meet you Schuyler. My name is Gabrielle. How do you do?" She says politely.

 Schuyler giggled at the foals bow. "You don't need to bow to me silly. We're gonna be friends there is no need to be so formal." She said laughing. "Well, since you already know my name, there is no need to introduce myself. And I am well, thank you for asking. And yourself?" Sky asked politely in return. She hoped she had not offended the other filly with her words. As foals, they did need to watch what they said around adults, but around each other, they could normally just have fun.

Gabrielle lifts her head at hearing Schuyler giggling. She smiles in return. "Well I did not want to offend anyone so its always safer to do the formal then afterwards if welcomed informal. I am so excited to meet you. I like to explore and also learn about other Azreins. Ashia adopted me so I do not know my parents. Your the first Azrein I have met. I have to make Ashia proud of me. I look up to her. She may be a human but she is trying her hardest to help me find some friends. Do you have a chosen yet?" Gabrielle quites for a moment realizing that she was asking so many questions all at once. She gets a blush and sits down. "I am sorry. Like I said I am so new and excited to learn. Would you be willing to tell me some things about yourself?"

Schuyler nodded, "I understand. But no, I don't have a chosen. My mommy knows Nilah." She said happily. "My mommy and daddy adopted me after finding me. I lost my mother in a storm, as well as my favorite blanket." Schuy said somewhat sadly. "Its not a bad thing to want to learn, I think everyone kinda goes through that stage. Well, my mommy and daddy are part of a herd, so I'm often there, Nilah had just come to ask my parents if she could take me out for a play-date, which they agreed to because they trust her. And I begged my daddy." She said with a giggle. "I hope I am living up to your expectations since I am the first Azrein you have met!" Sky exclaimed, hoping the other girl liked her.

Gabrielle looks with shock at hearing about his mother. "I am sorry you lost your mother in a storm. That must have been very scary. In my eyes you must have been really brave to survive that storm. How did Nilah find you?" She softly says to him trying to sooth. Schuyler seems to be really upset about loosing his blanket as well. Well maybe she could help with that. She tugs off her blanket and covers him with it. I know this is not your favorite blanket but maybe it could be a mark of our meeting. I can always get a new one from Ashia. She makes really pretty blankets for me so I can choose which one I would like to wear." Gabrielle smiles feeling like the blanket will be a marker for her at lest to remembering this day. She met and found a new Azrein friend. She waits to see Schuyler's reaction of her gift hoping he will like it.

((ummm, i tried to hint at this but uh schuyler is a girl... sweatdrop )
"Nilah didn't find me. My new mommy Tashi found me. Nilah knows my mommy." She said without any sadness in her voice. Sky was shocked when the other girl offered her blanket. Sure it wasn't her blanket, but the kindness and generosity behind the act of giving up one's own blanket left her in shock. "I-Thank you." She nuzzled the blanket, it was a warmth she hadn't felt in awhile. "I wasn't brave, I just hid in a cave when Tashi found me with her mate Thali and they helped me look for my mommy. And when we didn't find her, they adopted me." She said proudly. Sky was proud that Tashi and Thali were her parents.

Gabrielle: She smiles at her new Friend as she listens to Schuyler talking. She thinks Schuyler must be really brave for she did not shed a tear or sound sad while talking about a painful story. She is happy that she could help her friend out with the blanket. "I am sure that Ashia can make you a nicer one if we ask nicely. There is different kinds of brave. Right now you are brave. Able to talk about a painful past without tears or even a hich in voice."

"I guess so..." Schuyler said hesitantly. "I try not to be sad about it because so much good has come from even a sad story. There really wasn't anything I could do to prevent it, or even change it now, so I just don't really see any reason to be sad. I have my mommy and a daddy now." She said happily. "Maybe we could ask Ashia, but for now, I like this one." Sky said with a smile.

Gabrielle: She smiles brightly at the other mare's words. "I am pleased you like that blanket. Do you know any good berry patches. I am alittle hungry." She wonders for a moment if maybe her new friend would be too. "Maybe we could ask our guardians to help us find some good food or berries."

"Hmmm." Schuyler thought for a moment. Then, she perked up. "Yes! There is a nice berry patch back the way I had come. Its just over this way." She said as she stood up and started walking. Sky looked back to see if Gabrielle was going to follow her.

Gabrielle: She smiles cheerfully and walks up to Schuyler to follow to the berries. "I cant wait. Berries will be a perfect snack for us and we can explore! Have you heard about familars. Small animals that wants to help you and stays with you. I saw one while walking through a town with Ashia. A beautiful bird flying yet close to the Azrein. I am hoping that I might be able to recive one. I am not sure yet what kind of animal familar I would like but I was told there are many kinds." Her tail flicks from side to side exicedly.

After they find the berries, Schuyler eats a few before speaking. "I'm not sure that I have seen any of these 'familiars.'" She replied, using the strange word that Gabrielle had used. Sky couldn't imagine other animals that would want to help them. It just seemed too unreal. "Maybe we should try to find one!" Sky said excitedly.

Gabrielle: Her eyes lights up with excitement at the thought of looking for a familar. "This will be so exciting. I wonder if there is something special we have to do in order to find our Familar. I dont know much about it or finding the destined Chosen though I know every Azrien has one." She paws the grass with her front hoof while talking. Tagggg <3

Schuyler cocked her head, "Do you not think Ashia is your Chosen?" She asked. Sky thought for a moment before continuing. "I don't know what it would be like to have a familiar, I think it might be kind of weird to have something following you all the time. "

Gabrielle: She shakes her head no to Schuyler's question. "No Ashia is not my Chosen though she would make a really good one. She says that both the Azrien and the Chosen would know they are meant to be together working side by side. Ashia told me that she see's me as her daughter and wishes for me to find a good herd that will be able to teach me what it means to be a Azrien." She giggle at the comment she just made. "That sounded kinda funny. Personally I think a familar is more a helpful companion like a bird that could get berries we cannot reach or a wolf that would chase predators away protecting us from harm. That kind of thing. I wonder if they can talk to us like a Chosen would." She smiles at her friend. Tagggg <3
