After some discussion, Poy and I agreed to hold a room fundraiser.
First, we'll need to brainstorm some ideas. So let's start now! Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Second, we'll need to divide the job and start working on it.
Third, we'll need to have it on air.
Fourth, we'll need to keep track of the progress.
Bold is current focus.

The Sands of Time Blow.... If each Member of the room could donate just 5k a week. We'd make roughly 40k ~ 60k a week. (160k a month, 1,440,000 by the end of June. (Assuming we only get together the 40k a week.))
How about doing a simple Quest Thread? Themed after our room, or an idea from our room. When we finally have the parts down for what we'll be playing, we could practice in the Quest Thread while taking in donations. (Being careful not to give away our plot to people. And simply RPing their personalty's. (Meaning not the relationships between them either.)) ....Greeting the Demonic Prince.

I think Poy has some really good ideas. And I would be willing to donate at least 5k each week. Maybe we could also do some avi art? I've gotten pretty good with drawing people and I'm pretty sure we have other people here that could do some avi art, too. later I could probably upload some example, colored and sketched. Price would depend on quality, and better quality comes with better prices. Or maybe we could ask a few avi art shops to donate just a little bit of their gold income to us. I'm not sure how well that might work out, but I think it would be worth a try.

redpandalvr99 I see where you're getting at. With asking for donations, I mean. but I'm glad that you like my avi art thing. As soon as I get home (I'm at my aunts house right now) I'll show some example and hopefully we can go through with the shop. I hope there are others who can do avi art. And maybe a TekTek shop? Like since people like to request TekTeks, I think it may work. The Sands of Time Blow.... Keep in mind that there is a fundraising committee, and they have a lot of projects going on. One is an art Shop (However we have plenty of artists. So I see no problem with us making a second one.) Another is a Tektek Shop. Personally, I don't like Tektek shops very much. There are so many Free ones that it's hard to make any gold at all, aside from tips.
Making a second Tektek Shop may not be the best idea. If you'd like to work in one to help raise funds, then feel free to join the one the Fund Committee is making. ^.^ ....Greeting the Demonic Prince.

an writing shop
Booty Grab team
Zomg team
Bump Shop
Pet Shop
As well as the art shop and tektek shop I mentioned above.
While I see no problem with making a second Art Shop, we should avoid doing to many things the fund committee is already doing. At least for now that is. Feel free to give a new spin to any of the above ideas. (I do still really like the idea of an art shop themed after our room.) ....Greeting the Demonic Prince.

As for the art shop, if there are enough artists in the room it's good to go. I have this idea. 8D It's sort of like a draw-whatever-you-think-of art shop. The customer feels in a list of what he/she wants to see in the picture (anything random from items to colours to... anything) and it's up to us to think of a picture to include everything the customer says, and draw out something... whimsical-ish. What do you think? But then again, if there's enough artists. I know at least 4 room members here who don't really draw (including me) and we'd be pretty much useless in this. But we can help bump the thread and collect the cash and stuff. 8D

I think that have two bump shops, art shops, or tektek shops couldn't be a bad thing. I mean I would be willing to donate some of what I earn posting for the bump shop. And I mean I could handle working two bump shops.
