Considering that the majority of the movies I've rented weren't worth the price, I think I'll take a chance on this Jack Black project. A good laugh is always worth the price.

School of Rock was an iffy movie with some good jokes. I laughed a few times but I wouldn't rent it again.

I've got the same feeling for this one. Might rent it but I doubt it'll be that funny of a movie.

I haven't seen a good comedy since that Adam Sandler prison football movie, I forget the name. Sandler and Rock are just hilarious the whole way through and so are the supporting caracters.
Even 40 y-old Virgin was just too long. It was funny throught the first hour but it got old during the second.

I was wandering around Apple's quicktime trailers site and found the following gem. iTunes music store software with podcasts enabled is required to view the following historic gems shot by Jack on the set and behind the scenes.

And after renting King Kong last week, I have a good deal of respect for Jack's ability to hit his marks and deliver some solid performances. I hope he comes back to San Diego to push his projects at ComicCon.
