* ~:: Snake Charmer ::~ * (Location - Port Island Monorail Tracks, Monorail Station, Port Island District)
Cold, Rainy Afternoon, June 26th, 2012. Port Island Monorail Tracks, Port Island.
The peaceful morning passes and an ominous cloud falls upon the city of Iwatodai; the demons of the Tachibana-Hakushaku Clan have arrived. Summoned forth from their headquarters in the Northwestern Edge of Kyushu by the office of the Shogun himself, they descend upon the town to uphold their antiquated oath to the leader of the country of Japan and unleash their strength upon his enemies. Fueled by their demonic power and their unwavering loyalty to the Head of their Clan, they come to settle an old score...amongst many others.
But their mission is not just any, and their foes are as dangerous as they are. Demon against demon, man against man, two armies aware of the other move to meet upon the active monorail tracks which run from the Iwatodai Station to the Port Island Station and Gekkoukan High School for a battle that will shake the underground and the foundations upon which each of the two clans stand. Those who are caught in the crossfire will receive no mercy...those who do not fight will almost certainly die.
The snakes have been lured out of their hole...and together, they and the demons shall come and play.
Time stands still! Snakes v. Demons! Will the charmers come to regret agitating their prey?
The Battle Between Taihaku and Orochi Begins Now! Quote: Yasuko Kimiki (Taihaku Alliance) v. Alvaro Albeido Alejandro Barrera aka "Alex Mask" (Orochi Mercenary) Mugen Toku (Taihaku Alliance) v. Xiomar Burg (Orochi Mercenary)

Mugen Toku-Taihaku Mugen slowly walked through the station, holding his trusted tachi in hand as he walked through the crowds in order to make it to the tracks. He hoped onto a passing monorail and crouched down low, looking over to the sides of the monorail in order to try and find his opponent first before they found him.
This all seemed so unneeded, suddenly it was time to fight enemies that they had little to no interaction with prior? This had to have something to do with Mori's scheming ways but again, Mugen was tied by his loyalty to Seo. He would have to dispose of his opponent quickly and with as little energy spent as he could for he would almost instantly rush to the aid of his young master once his battle was over. Hopefully he would make it out alive though, from what he heard, the orochi were formidable foes to say the least.

Xiomar Burg The sounds of steps could be heard from afar, the enemy had arrived, the battle was about to begin. From the tracks the German soldier, Xiomar Burg, was already in positioned with his rifle out to take aim. The Orochi were prepared to do battle with the Taihaku clan, the scale of the battle was looking more like a miniature war, which was more than acceptable for the man. He was treating this exactly like a war, if he fails in his battle then his allies will die, if he does not complete his mission then everyone will die, Xiomar would not allow such a shameful event come to reality. He had sworn on his own honor that he will come back to the base with Victory, by no means was he prepared to falter on this promise. He locked down on the target known as Mugen Taihaku, who was simply scouting the area for the enemy. The safety was now off, finger firmly holding the trigger, he had to wait for the right moment to strike. He couldn’t just go off guns blazing, no, this took precision, patience, if he could get it just right then everything could be over in just mere minutes; though he did not doubt the ability that this new enemy possessed. Having no information on this Mugen made him a dangerous enemy, but would make for an interesting match none the less. The moment Mugen turned his back to take a peek at the other side of the monorail was when Xiomar made his move, “Umarmung-Tod” Pulled down on the trigger the rifle fired out four bullets in one round, each aiming to go punch through the back of the young heir.

Yasuko Kimiki-Taihaku Muffled steps were heard as the pink haired girl seemed to roam around the place, free of any care in the world. There was something childish about the girl, the scarlet cape and matching heels, the lively, searching eyes, the smile that was got wider with each step taken towards her invisible destination. Like a Red Riding Hood lost in the woods, perhaps? Unaware of the wolf hunting her down in the distance? Ignorant of the oppressive air that fell over the station and the dangerous war about to break loose?
... The grin grew wider, twisting into a darker sneer; now, something insane was painted in the same strawberry colored eyes... and it would be foolish to deem Yasuko Kimiki as a lost victim, for she was here with a purpose, and she very well knew what she was doing. She was here to destroy one of the snakes that slithered around the station, one of the snakes that the Shogun wanted to see gone...all for her Lord Seo. He was out there, doing his part, risking his health…and she couldn’t just stay here doing nothing! She needed to hurry, needed to get this done as quick as possible, to save him any unneeded trouble. Tch…filthy reptiles, making Lord Seo overexert himself. She would kill them all if anything were to happen to him…."Little snaaaaake ~~ I know you are hiding around here somewhere. Won't you come out and let Big Sister see you? ~" Her grip around the slender weapon tightened slightly, just as her grin seemed to grow even more, as impossible as it seemed. Yes…her little prey wouldn’t come out alive of this. "Don't be shy now~"

Alvaro Albeido Alejandro Barrera aka 'Alex Mask' He preferred to work at night; heroes were supposed to work at night.
It wasn't as though a hero couldn't adapt and do his work in the daytime when they were required, but even the most ardent of heroes had to admit that there was a certain aesthetic to patrolling the streets in the night, the different breed of trouble that stalked the alleys, the starlight overhead and the street lights all you had to light your path to justice. You could use the shadows to your advantage at night, surprise your enemies and make the element of fear your companion in the fight to clean the streets of the grime that made it filthy. In the day it was much harder to get the drop on a villain; Ichiro probably knew that too, which is how he knew that this mission must have been of the very important variety. No way he would have asked his judicious follower to go out and do in the daylight what would have been much cooler to do at night. So he supposed that while it wasn't that cool aesthetically, there was the fact that he was doing a job very important to the survival of the city of Iwatodai which he had been tasked to watch over by his adviser. Protecting the city was cool in its own way, even if it wasn't in as cool a fashion as he might have liked. He didn't need a reason to follow the directives of Ichiro Kuzunoha, Greatest of the Four Great Summoners, however. It had been only a year ago that his heroism had lead him into the path of a hail of bullets in some backwater alley in the streets of Buenos Aires. Years he had spent in defense of justice in that city, defending the population from both human and demon, a gift that only he had in seeing them allowing him to do such strange work. He hadn't had the power to fight them, but he could hardly turn a blind eye to a city in need of a hero. 'Alex Mask' had been his name, a ghost in the shadows of the city fighting crime, defending the streets that had raised him from the time he could walk away from the Hellhole of a house he had grown up in. He had sworn that he would let nobody suffer the way that he had as a child, that he would bring justice to those who oppressed others, and he had always thought that it would be the demons that got him.
It wasn't. His chest bore six bullet scars as proof that it had been men, not demons that had caught up with him, and it had been when he lay on the verge of death wondering if all his work had been for nothing when a man approached him with the same power to see demons, and much, much more. He explained that his name was Ichiro Kuzunoha, a defender of the distant country of Japan, and that he too could see demons, tame them, and use their power for the good of humanity. On the edge of death with no family, no home, no life to return to save his duty should he survive, he had been given a chance...to return to the land of the Rising Sun and help Japan's savior deliver his home from evil and be given the power to one day deliver his own homeland as a prize...or die in that rotten hospital in the slums of Argentina's capital and accomplish nothing. ...He had accepted, and for his decision he was brought back from the brink, guided back to the home of this great hero that had taken him under his wing...his very own heroic mentor, the father that he had never had, though his age made him seem more like a brother. Whatever he was, he became his idol...the man for whom he would do anything. And once he and Ichiro had saved this country they would save his home. ...This mission was just another step along that path. The path to justice. The path to peace. 'Alex Mask' had been given new life, the chance to be a true hero to the people of this island nation. And if this cute girl walking along the tracks below was one of the villains who threatened the peace, well...then he would do what was necessary in order to protect it.
"Hiding? Who is hiding?" his voice came down from the top of the station high above the monorail tracks where the girl walked with some amusement and abandon. Seriously, how cliche could she get? The villain walking along the train tracks without a care? How Old West! Too bad this was more of a modern superheroic shindig, at least in his mind. They were going to do this his way or no way at all. Which was why when he leaped down from the station he did a perfect, elegant flip and landed in a practiced pose, hands out to either side of him with a confident smirk on his face. Smoke poofed and rose all about him, adding flair to the scene in a heroic fashion. And when it faded his voice raised again, challenging the girl's own assumptions about her new opponent. "When your opponent is in plain sight and you lack the wits to spot him, you can't call it hiding. One should always mind their surroundings in a fight...that's Rule 2.7 of the Heroic Manifesto," he lectured playfully, the verbal sparring the opening salvo of the mental war, a must in any good battle, "And now for the first...Rule 1.0: Names are everything, they are who you are, they are your image, your actions, your legacy. And so I will tell you mine. I am...well, I can't tell you my real name, can I? Rule 1.3. ...You can call me 'Alex Mask', if you like. And I...will be stopping your reign of terror in this city right here and now."

Mugen Toku-Taihaku As the shots rang out, Mugen managed to leap away from the bullets due to his above average agility. He was grazed by one but it didn't seem like anything too serious yet. The thing about multiple bullets was that they were harder to dodge. Once the shot was heard, it wasn't hard to follow the noise as Mugen began to make his move towards the man who had previously fired at him. His tail made it's way out of his shirt and lingered around his body, but the flames did not ignite. His demon powers would remain dormant until he could see what the man could do.
As Mugen grew closer to the snake with the firearm, he unsheathed his tachi and quickly tried to close the distance before making a quick horizontal swipe towards the man.

Xiomar Burg So the little demon was able to dodge his attack, this prove to be interesting, nothing concerning however. This was going to be far more entertaining than Xiomar had originally hoped; with only seconds to go he reloaded his rifle; Mugen was already running up to him to attack. The demon came in, sword came out ready to strike, in one slashing motion the blade cut the flesh of the german soldier. Blood was flowing right out of his chest immediately after the attack, such a heavy loss of blood and it was just the beginning of the battle, was it the end of Xiomar? Had the soldier finally fallen in less than a minute? “Oh Ho ho~, Vundabar.” The answer was a most definte no, the blood started to break up into circular beads, surrounding Mugen at all sides. His ability, Bad Blood, was already in affect; each particle of blood that was flooding around him started to hardened, taking on the same density as a bullet. He took a few steps allowing more of his flowing blood to break apart and close Mugen in, he was now trapped, with mini blood bullets covering him; Xiomar had confidence that this would deal the right amount of damage to the demon, but there was always a chance to see if the demon could try his luck in dodging, either way it would make for a fantastic entertainment show. With a snap of his fingers the blood bullets started to charge down on Mugen, with enough speed to in and out of his body like a hot knife slicing through bread.

Mugen Toku-Taihaku Mugen was definitely surprised that he managed to land a hit on the gunman since usually people who used guns tended to avoid allowing swords that close to them. Mugen was even more surprised to see the blood surround him in such a manor. It definitely was out of the ordinary..but Mugen was a demon in human skin after all. So out of the ordinary was what he did on a daily basis. But as the bullets surrounded the demon, the dimly lit tracks were filled with a wavering blue light as a blue fiery aura surrounded Mugen. His eyes began to swiftly shift back and forth, trying to see every bead around before they fired in. Mugen then displayed a an incredible show of speed and evasion as he began to bob and weave around the beads. Mugen managed to dodge the brunt of the attacks but beads did rip out nice chunks from different parts of his body before Mugen spotted an exit from the raining area of blood bullets and quickly distanced himself from the man and his blood. Mugen was now bleeding from different parts of his body and, unlike his freaky friend, couldn't regenerate or make his blood into a weapon. Quote: fires of passion - body is covered in a fiery aura. Aim and evasion are greatly increased True-Evade Physical

Yasuko Kimiki-Taihaku “Oh! There you are~” The girl twirled on her heels to face the now in sight Orochi, her smile never fading from her face, if only turning more amused by the moment. So, this was the little snake that she needed to pulverize? Heh…he was kind of cute, despite the silly attire he wore. Really? Who he believed he was? Some sort of Zorro? A nameless hero lurking the shadows in search of bad bad guys? It mattered not, anyway…for she wasn’t getting defeated here, especially not by this pathetic excuse of hero…for her lord. Resisting the urge to roll her eyes as the theatrics went on in front of her, the girl just tilted her head to the side and shrugged innocently, almost as if apologizing for the mistake pointed out by the masked boy. Though, she didn’t look all that apologetic at all… A low chuckle rumbled on her throat, listening to his strong declaration about stopping her there. “Will you, now?” she challenged, her dark pink orbs eyeing him haughtily. “Well, it’s cute of you to think that.” the pinkette cooed lowly, sliding closer to him in a beat, arms snaking over his shoulders teasingly. “I like you boy, but… you are wrong. There’s only one true hero, and that would be Lord Seo.” Lips barely brush against his cheek as she whispered to his ear, before pushing him away from her, moving some steps back, a wild giggle echoing in the air. “But! If you really insiiiist…I guess I could play along and be the villain here.” A wink was sent his way as she brushed some nonexistent creases on her skirt. “I am Yasuko, by the way…but you can still call me Big Sis.” A dark grin spread over her features, just as a wave of energy washed over her, enhancing her power.
“So, what do you say, Alex Mask? Will you play with me?”

Alvaro Albeido Alejandro Barrera aka 'Alex Mask' Catching the girl's attention, the first thing that jumped out about her was the fact that she had a very lighthearted air about her...but it wasn't innocent at all, rather it was dangerous, quite dangerous, as though she were the type to seduce you and tear you to pieces in an instant. Alex Mask identified her type instantly. Her cooing, sliding manner of moving around him, putting her arms around him...it was so eerily reminiscent of something he had read that it made the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. She teased him, taunting that her Lord was the only hero in the area, and that she was willing to play the villain for him if that was what he wanted...making light of all the struggles that they were going through, of his role as the hero, of this battle entirely. It was insulting...insufferable! As her arms slid around his shoulders he leaped away to the far side of the top of the monorail station. His red mask trailed behind him, long and red, and he threw his arm to the side in a dramatic fashion, as though throwing down the gauntlet between them. "Do not think you can take me off-guard, Cat-woman! Seduction is the oldest distraction technique in the Villainess Manifesto! Rule 1.1...I've been warned not to take you lightly, and I will not make such a mistake," he proclaimed dramatically, but if it should have come off a bit corny there was a serious glint in his eye and a stern way about his stance that was challenging. She would not take him for granted...he would show her how big a mistake that was.
"I will not play...games," he assured her as he seemed ready in some form of martial arts stance, the wind kicking up about his clothes and whipping up the back ends of his red mask in a theatrical fashion, "I will WIN! Now stop wasting time and attack me. (Rule 4.2 of the Heroic Manifesto, Quotable Catch Phrases!)"
"Light be my blade, darkness my shield! I am 'Alex Mask!' And with justice as my companion, I will strike down all evil before my sight!"
Cool catch phrase, but the deliver wasn't as hammy as it sounded. In fact, it was kind of intimidating in a way...was this guy actually, seriously, for real?

Yasuko Kimiki-Taihaku Ohoo? Acting all cool now, was he? The woman let out another chuckle, but still, her shoulders tensed, her eyes narrowed, her body readying itself for the battle that was about to break loose, noticing the small changes in his otherwise silly mannerisms. There was something on his gaze…and the way he talked so seriously about defeating her. Hmmm~ Well, then…the game just got real. As much as she liked teasing, she knew enemies weren’t to be taken lightly…she had learned her lesson back then…and she had paid a steep price for her mistake. Tsk…She wouldn’t make that mistake again. But really, she couldn’t help playing for a bit when this boy, red mask and hero antics, was her enemy. It was difficult to actually know if he was serious or not…but well, she guessed it would be unwise to judge a book by its cover. And if he was with the Snakes…he couldn’t be completely incompetent. The Shogun had said these slippery critters had finished with many men, hadn’t he?
"Oh, you don't have to ask twice, boy ~" she said sweetly, her head tilting to her side lightly, as she waved her hand dismissively. He had just barely finish giving his cheesy speech when the breeze changed into a furious wind, a cyclone directing his way with enormous force. He wanted to start the fight right now? She'll comply...for no one who might cause some strain to her lord could escape without a scratch.

Alvaro Albeido Alejandro Barrera aka 'Alex Mask' His spirit was at its peak, the dangers of the battle and the fearsome strength radiating from this unassuming young girl was enough to pique his attention and draw him deeper into his concentration. She was still teasing him, still taking this battle and the very heroism that he held dear not nearly serious enough for his liking. He could sense her own killing intent growing, though...it was the look in her eye, as though he were a toy to be played with and disposed of when he ceased to interest her. This could not be allowed to stand; it was time to fight. In an instant, his suspicions were confirmed when the wind about him began to grow violent, only a moment to react before the hurricane-force winds crushed down upon him and the monorail tracks, rattling the metallic rig violently...but the damage that she was meant to inflict upon him was not done, his reaction lunging him into a forward roll that brought him just before her feet, a smooth recovery and a leg sweep following that would trip her footing out from under her and land her instantly upon her back! His reaction was incredibly sharp, and his strikes were delivered with all the force of a combat master, and no sooner had she been swept off her feet than he loomed just above her in a stance, determination in his eyes, fist curled tightly as he prepared to deliver what he intended to be an instantly-finishing blow. If he could avoid drawing this out it was for the best...the least amount of hurt to his opponent while still stopping them was his goal, as always.
"Mask-Style...Iron Crunching Fist!" the hero declared as his knuckles cracked, giving his attack a super-cool heroic strike name as he was always meant to do (heroes had to name their attacks!) before thrusting his fist forward at her stomach...the area where the damage would be the least while he could still disable her...and slammed it down violently. If it hit, he could do some serious damage. ...But would it? She seemed more spry and swift than she looked; could she move away at such close range just after being taken off her feet by surprise? Only time would tell... Quote: Mask-Style Iron-Crunching Fist - Target: Yasuko Spirit of Fire - The longer Alex Mask is allowed to make his heroic speeches, the stronger his spirit becomes. (Increases his awareness and reactions through a hero's determination and focus, grows sharper per-turn!) [Counter: 2]

Yasuko Kimiki-Taihaku "Tch! Just stay there and die!" Unreasonable request... but still! It would have been way easier if he hadn't move away and dodging her attack as if it had been nothing; just a gentle breeze to brush away! Her tantrum though, was brought to an abrupt stop when he jumped in front of her, leg sweeping her to the ground. A loud gasp escaped her, being taken off guard by his quick counter, but the surprise on her face soon changed into a growl, her teeth clenching, her muscles tensing and readying themselves. Oh no...Oh no he wouldn't! Did this masked wannabe hero really believe he would finish her off in one single punch? Well, that was insulting! Lord Seo would never forgive her if she lost here! He was fast... but she was swift, as well. And she wasn't helpless, either. Knuckles cracked, and a cold sneer spread on her face. She had just touched the ground, and she was already moving; huge, red wings spread from her back, probably (and hopefully) surprising him in return enough to give her just fractions of a second more to roll back away swiftly from the dangerous fist that could have caused way too much damage. Tsk…she would need to stay out of range. If he were to reach her with one of those…she wasn’t going to get out of this unharmed.
She jumped back, wings dropping her gently on top of one of the monorails. "Look what you made me do!" Her voice showed the distaste she felt, her eyes the annoyance. "This was one of my favorite dresses! And now it's ruined..." And well... this complicated things! Time was running out...and if she continued here playing around, she wasn't sure what could happen to Lord Seo. "Now shut up! I am tired of your voice!” The woman flapped her wings once, the wind once again picking up, its course being directed towards him in a pressured whirlwind. Playtime was over…and he would see the mistake of having ever gone against the Taihaku.

Alvaro Albeido Alejandro Barrera aka 'Alex Mask' Miss! His solid fist bent the steel beneath his punch as though it were some sort of pliable putty rather than the sturdy base for one of the most important train lines in the area; which meant he had missed, the girl's surprising transformation giving her a speed that he hadn't judged her to have. She retreated to a train top and he knew that at that range he would find himself at something of a disadvantage...ranged enemies were his weakness and he knew it, his Mask Style Martial Arts meant to pick apart his enemies up close and devastate them with strikes honed over years of practice. They had long range arts, of course, but nothing on the level of these supernatural enemies, those who had been training them for years longer than he had even been living. Experience could trump pure stopping power, but experience and power were a fatal combination to go up against. Raising his head, he crossed his arms but felt the full force of her wind attack smashing him down violently into the trains tracks below. It felt as though his whole body was vibrating down to the bone, his skin threatening to rip away and flesh bruising and aching, the whole thing akin to some small level of torture...and this was only the beginning. His head dripped from a small gash torn near his right ear by the winds, but by the time the wind had passed he was already used to the pain. Reaching into his pocket without hesitation, he pulled a small pellet and flicked it into the air towards the girl, the distraction of wondering what it was giving him enough time to make it work and take advantage.
"Mask Style Concealing Art: Smoke Purple Bomb!" suddenly the tiny pellet exploded on command into a cloud of purple smoke that immediately filled the gap between them, giving the hero a chance to make his move. Moving in concealment he bounced off one of the monorail's signs nearby and caught the overlooking signal, swinging in an acrobatic leap onto the top of the monorail car where the interesting but deadly foe stood waiting for him. Already the distance was closed, but he couldn't mess up his chance...as he might not get another. Battles of this type with two divergent styles and one massive weakness usually ended with a single violent mistake...or one moment of inspiration. He withheld his speech, using the smoke diversion to plan his next move. One chance...once strike. 'Here I come, villain...I'll strike you down and then, I'll have earned my passage back to Buenos Aires...' Quote: Mask-Style Concealing Art: Smoke Purple Bomb! - Creates a cloud of smoke to obscure vision and allow for surreptitious movements. Spirit of Fire - [Counter: 1]

Yasuko Kimiki-Taihaku What!? It didn't give the pinkette enough time to react before a thick fog hissed out of the pellet thrown, leaving the area completely covered, impossible to distinguish one thing from the other. She was completely blinded! That little- Tsk... "An ambush, really? You know that isn't hero-like at all, right~?" the woman taunted, her senses sharpening at the lack of sight, waiting for any kind of noise or movement that could spare her the sneaky move the masked enemy had in mind. His strength was something... and she would be better if she didn't have to feel those fists against her..She knew that her defenses weren't the greatest, and that some of those would be enough to stop he- No! No, no no! She couldn't think like that. Stopping her? When she needed to return to Lord Seo's side? When she needed to tell him how good she had done? She wouldn't be done for here! And the farther she was away from this guy, and the faster she could finish this...the better. Red wings spread out, and with a single swipe, she was out of the metal surface of the monorail and up in the air. And yet... purple clouds covered her. Just what was the range of this thing?! She really couldn't see anything! Wings flapped with strength, clearing some of the fog surrounding her, but still...no signs of him.
Eyes narrowed, ears listened carefully, and her reflexes sharpened... she couldn't fall for this cheap trick...
