Sarias pulled on one of her stripped stockings roughly a sharp nail puncturing the fabric on purpose as she pulled them up and clasped them to her suspender. They were dirty, ragged and laddered to high heaven, just how she liked them. Her books were piled up beside her on the bed, the mornings classes were bound to start any minute and she was running behind. Sarias didn't do 'late'. She was perfectly punctual. Sure she may get detention for the amount of dead gnomes she set on fire or the permanent mental damage she did to other students but no teacher could ever say she was late. It just didnt happen. Yet after the confrontation with Seiji she hadn't been sleeping...well to the extent a ghost could sleep, either way she wasn't getting enough of it and the blue bags under her eyes revealed more than she was ever willing to say.
The ghost pups sat diligently beside her bed, all four of them attempting to ignore the fresh curves of newly created scars running along side their faces and bodies. Another fight un-won or another order un-obeyed? It was hard to know if this was done by the hand of Sarias or between each other. Sarias had developed a liking for the dog-like animals, especially those that shared her unique...outlook on life. Mean, nasty and untrainable. They seemed to be a perfect match. It didn't matter right now though, her face was twisted into a scowl as she jumped up, grabbing her bag from the bed while her wisps caught hold of the books.
"Get in your cages! NOW!" she spat as she rushed past them, her foot catching one of the slower animals in the rear as it followed her order. It snapped back catching one of smoke tendrils in its teeth, killing it off from the source as it floated away. Sarias smiled deeply as she saw the rage in the dogs eye. Oh how she enjoyed their company.
"Ripley! Get in their you filthy mutt!" She shouted back as she almost chuckled with pride. One day she would release her dogs into the school yard. Now that would be fun. If it wasn't for her pets reaction she might not have missed the door slamming shut and then ricocheting from the force of her pull as she ran down the hall. The gateway of 'hell' was open for all to access....this couldn't possibly end well.

Vieve had never met her neighbour, but knew her to be someone loud and probably uncouth; slamming doors, loud noises... not bothersome enough for a direct confrontation, but certainly annoying.
This time, it seemed she'd narrowly missed meeting the girl; she'd heard the door slamming again just seconds before she opened her own door to leave, and her neighbour was nowhere in sight.
Her door, though, was left wide open. As wide as the grin on Vieve's face. Considering she'd just left, it was likely she wouldn't be back too soon, giving the salamander ample time to snoop around. Making sure not to touch the door, Vieve snuck into the room... and was immediately amazed.
Not by the creepiness- dead animals and such lying around (no way those would sell), but rather.. the bits of shiny things she glimpsed- jewels, goblets, gold. The girl felt a shiver run down her spine, but it wasn't fear- it was excitement.
If Sarias was careless enough to leave her door open... who was to say some of the objects wouldn't carelessly... move themselves?

It had taken the ghoul 5 minutes to stop dead in her tracks...which wasn't that hard to do considering she was dead but none the less the unfortunate student who was walking behind Sarias got a face full of hair...and then an elbow to boot once Sarias had pushed them out of the way.
"Bog off you little s**t! MOVE!" her voice thundered down the corridor of the academy as Sarias twisted herself around and roared at anyone within reaching distance. The students had seen this before, someone still had the scars to prove it. The banshee...had forgotten something.
"I said MOVE! Useless corpse, decay already! Goddess, you think some of this students were created brain dead! MOVE, MOVE! GET OUT OF MY WAY!" She pushed and thumped her way back through the gathering crowds of students preparing for the days classes, she didnt care who she hit but faces, legs arms and teeth were knocked about in the tornado that was Sarias. Forgotten homework was nothing to be sniffed at, she needed to get it from her room. Why what was the point in even attending the class if you were to let down the teacher so? Just thinking that was abominable. She need to return to her dorm, grab the scrolls and run back before the bell rang for class. If she took no prisoners, hurt and ran through anything and everything in her path, she might, might, just make it.
If was with that in mind that Sarias didnt even register the fact that her door was open or even to the latter extent that there was a very fiery looking student stood in the middle of her dorm room! Surveying her most prised possessions like they were choice pieces of candy, why if Sarias wasn't so shocked by the whole scene the stranger would have been maimed before she had ever hit the ground.
"Wha...who?....I...-" It was a new feat being lost for words, Sarias didnt appreciate it. Stood half reaching for her homework and half turning back towards the door the banshee stared at her fellow ghost before all hell broke lose.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!!"

Vieve squeaked, though she wasn't proud of it; she hadn't expected Sarias to be back- at least, not so soon. Composing herself, she wheeled around to face the other girl. Thankfully, she couldn't be caught red-handed if she hadn't actually made a move yet..
"I'm cleaning up for you," she replied coolly, though her brain was working fervently to put together a convincing story.
"So you're my neighbour- I've heard you a lot since I moved in." More specifically, she'd heard Sarias' rages and angry screams and things being swept off the table onto the floor.. and also, of course, the haunting howls of the ghost pups she kept in her dorm.
"I just saw your door open, and then... this mess. I thought you might be a tad cheered up if I cleaned the place up for you, y'know."

The ghoul could smell the lie a mile away, so much so she wrinkled her nose in disgust at the creatures attempt to be the un-guilty party in this little scene. Sarias would not fall for it. But then again, the banshee had to admit the ghoul was quick on her feet for lying. A trait Sarias could not condone but admired in this primitive state it was being fed to her in. It please her further that the ghoul made sure to mention that she was known. For Sarias that was always a good thing, no matter the reputation.
"That will NOT be required." She said icily watching the other like a hawk as she moved round to see what the ghost had been looking at. As she thought her most prized possessions were on display, their usual home in a wooden chest having been destroyed in the ensuing destruction from Seiji's last visit.
"Hmm...neighbour you say? I didnt think anyone lived in that dump next door...glad to see they matched a tenet to suit its appearance." She snarled looking the ghoul up and down with fiery eyes. She may have been impressed with the lies but she was still pissed off. No one came in her room uninvited and it was time to lay down the law according to Sarias.
"I will give you some advice ghoul, if you want to survive remaining my neighbour, do not EVER step into my room without permission. I have no problems with letting my hounds run free in here, and where occasionally bite, I promise you they bite a hell of a lot harder." Motioning to the cages lined up against the far wall Vieve would be meet with the hungry eyes of three ghost dogs, and a small fourth that could just be recognised as a nergal foxfire pup under the clotted blood. they seemed feral and wild but at a mere click of her fingers stopped their growling to sit quietly as if someone had sucked all the sound from the room.
"Do you understand what I mean...." she motioned her hand for the ghoul to speak her name. If anything Vieve had just weathered the worst, it was time to see if she could keep it up.

"Oh?" Vieve wouldn't admit she was in the wrong, of course, but she did have no business being in here. Still, this girl was rubbing her the wrong way, and as much as she disliked being confrontational, backing down in this situation wouldn't do her any good. "You live in this disgustingly filthy place, and you're adamant that cleaning up.. isn't required?"
For what it was worth, the banshee did seem terribly unkempt- holes in her dress, tears in her stockings... and absolutely no dress sense.
Vieve shuddered. "I guess if you like being disorganised.. I don't think you need to be dirty to be scary, though I can see how you'd need all the help you can get." She glanced over at the remnants of the wooden chest, then turned back to Sarias. Did the girl think that just by being louder, she'd make herself seem more scary?
"Though I make it a point not to take advice from.. ghosts whose.. afterlives are a complete mess. And please- dump next door? I think you're mistaking your own room for mine- until now, I'd thought this was where the other students went to dump their trash! It even looks like it." Her own room, a dump? Well, it was a dump for treasure, granted, but she was sure Sarias hadn't meant it like that.
"I'd suggest you clean up your act; and maybe lock your doors, when you go out, if you don't want people coming in."
If Sarias wanted her name, she'd have to try harder to pry it out of Vieve; the salamander didn't care for the likes of this girl knowing her. Almost sadly she stole a glance at the treasures sitting in the broken chest, behind her- they would look so much better on her own desk, than in this filthy place.

Had someone ordered the pissed off banshee? Because that was what this ghoul was about to receive! Listening to her, the boiling rage inside Sarias was stirring getting dangerously close to hitting melting point as the other female ghost felt she could judge her room and inform her of such. That's judge Sarias room. And that would never do...
Her room was usually spotless, clean, tidy and with an air of elegance. It was only because of the recent fight with Seiji that her room had become this way and only because she had killed of the gnomes she had forced to help her tidy that it remained this way. She had to wait for the school to produce more helpers and then of course she would amend this terrible oversight of her dorm room being so...well gross. But it didnt matter. Whether her room was crystal clean or rotting from the inside this stranger had no right to come into her domain and start ranting at her! Sarias was not amused.
"Excuse me? Excuse me? No...wait, dont explain!" she shouted as she held up her hand, a very deep shade of blue coming to her cheeks as she tried to remain as calm as possible. If she was going to destroy this ghoul she liked to take her time.
"You think you can come in to my room, MY ROOM and talk to me like that? Ghoul you are messing with the wrong banshee!" She snapped as she started to stalk her, walking in a long semi-circle as she looked her up and down.
"You do not know me ghost, you do not know why my room happens to be in this state. I did not invite you in or claim that I was in some need of advice from the likes of you. Did I!? The answer is NO, I did not. My door is indeed an over site but just because filthy little mongrels like you happen to walk in off the street and notice does not give you the right to enter! NOW." She breathed out slow and steady as if just completing a 10 mile run and positioned herself on one of the remaining upright chairs, her form baring resting on the arm chair as she sneered at the ghoul, catching her once again peering at her valuables.
"...Now...unless you are about to redeem yourself from the piece of s**t that you are, if you dont leave my dorm room right now I am going to stuff that athame through your vocal cords!" The banshee leaned back, giving of the illusion of rest but remaining coiled like a snake to spring at any second. She was leaving it in the ghouls court had this day was going to end for her.
"Now...i will say it again because your obviously too pig stupid to understand me, but do i make myself clear?"

Loud.
That was pretty much all Sarias was, and Vieve let the angry words just wash over her, finding it difficult to keep track of the banshee's ranting. It wasn't unremarkable, all things considered; she was a banshee after all. But that didn't mean she had to tolerate being screamed at.
"So you agree with me then," she said lazily, "about the state of your room." Vieve was more than aware that should Sarias attempt to attack her, things would get ugly- but she wasn't looking for a fight- just treasure. And it seemed she wouldn't find any here, so- was there really a point in staying? The problem, now, was leaving- Sarias was blocking the way to the door.
"Though, I'd say you seem to be yelling at the wrong person. I'm not the one who wrecked your room, or left your room free for all to enter- and I believe the filthy little mongrels are the ones cowering under your bed. Perhaps you should join them."
"Also..." Vieve tilted her head, regarding Sarias somewhat curiously. "You don't seem to be aware that you're the one living in a pigsty. Nor are you articulating yourself very well, so- no, I don't understand you. Try speaking clearly. Enunciate your words instead of screaming. Though it'd be interesting to see a banshee who's lost her voice..."

This was unbelievable! Someone had stolen into her room, was eyeing up her treasures and was giving her advice? No. No. NO. That would never, ever do. Sarias sat wide eyed, her face a picture of bemused shock as she listened to the ghoul tell her to join her pets and speak of her room in such a distasteful manner she wanted to slap the words right out of her face. Sarias shook her head slowly, still on the air chair she tapped her hand on the back rest, as if thinking about where to stash this ghouls body if she had the chance. Sadly being ghosts the Fear would just evaporate and reappear a while later...unless she absorbed her...not a bad idea but right now, torture for a long, long time was playing on her mind.
"You think...you think you come into my room and speak to me like that?" She was calm, her voice soft and light as if she had taken the advice Vieve had suggested but her eyes...her eyes screamed of horrors unknown. Yet she was in control, the Seiji event running wild in her mind. She must remain in control.
"I never asked for you to enter my room, never asked for you to help tidy, although i highly doubt that is what you were going to do. You see..." It was getting creepy now with how calm Sarias was being but the other ghost may not realise this...until it was too late of course.
"You see...you have hardly caught me in the best circumstance. You think I wouldn't be angry at a stranger being here, uninvited? Do you think i would take kindly to someone judging my room who does not know all the facts and then judging me for that matter based on said room? You may not be able to understand me, i may not enunciate my words but you ghoul, you are the thickest piece of pig s**t i have ever laid eyes on. How dare you think of being here, sneaking in, lying to me and then expect me not to be angry or shouting. Dammit, I would have been more impressed if you told me your true reason, but you don't even have the balls to even do that. You disgust me. I know what I am and accept it gladly. But if a little ghoul without a backbone comes to give me a lecture without doing her research..well...i can't be held accountable for the mess i will leave you in."
All was said in such a soft way it was difficult to gauge the atmosphere flowing from Sarias form, but it wasn't good. The banshee looked like she about to spit on Vieve and then stamp a 6 inch heel into her face but the ghoul remained seated, all the while remembering the lesson she had learned. She could not tear the eyes out of this one, not unless she wanted to be expelled. How unfortunate.

"Alright, then." The other girl had earned some respect by managing to restrain herself- and while Vieve might admit (to herself) that she had gone entirely too far, she wasn't about to apologise. In the future she'd make sure to avoid this neighbour as much as possible- she imagined another confrontation wouldn't end prettily, for either of them.
There wasn't much else to be said- in the first place, she'd only attacked back because Sarias had insulted her. Was she supposed to take that lying down? No. Especially not with how Sarias had insulted her- she thought, at least, that she deserved to be properly insulted, and not just called stupid names.
Lame.
"You have every right to be angry, but I won't take back my words. For that matter, if I didn't have any 'backbone', I'd be cowering at your feet- but I'm not. If you insult me, I'll stand up for myself, whatever the situation is- it's that simple. Whether I'm wrong or not is something I'll decide for myself."
Even at the end, there was no hint of apology. Walking out of the room, she made sure to keep eye contact with Sarias- it wouldn't do to look away, or to show fear.
"Good luck cleaning up," she said, finally, before turning to go back into her own room.
