 He dropped the old buck as he panted lightly, crimson eyes casting about before he sat down to watch the night settle in around him. Silent, always silent he was since...his ears flattened against his skull as he looked away from the sunset, such beauty would be wasted on one like himself, he thought with a scornful shake of his head. Yuda had lost all he held dear, and proudly. He knew the blame for it laid on his own shoulders, he had chosen his mate, chosen to go to battle for his king, it was his choices that had ended his best friend and Kings life, his mate disappeared. It was all to easy to see where the guilt and shame lay, on him. Suddenly the hunger that had fueled his hunt, was gone. And sorrow and regret filled his belly, not a young lion anymore, this scarred and battle used warrior was all that was left.

Unfortunately, her mother was killed before she could fully learn how to hunt. She can go through the chase and even capture the prey, but she draws a blank on what comes next. The result is almost alway the same, whatever it was she caught, escaping and she goes hungry.
During the cool of the night, the emaciated lioness hoped that her luck to kill something could come to her as she continued to scout for signs of something easy to catch. Asha sighed, weak and hungry, paws padding lightly over the grass. She had to wonder how she survived so long with such limited meals, but it was a blessing she was still here and she wasn't going to take advantage of that.
Venturing further, a certain scent caught her attention. Her ears perked. Was that? Could it be... a kill? Slowly, she moved in the direction it came from, constantly sniffing the air to stay on track. She went slowly though, because even if it was a kill, it was probably being eaten by whatever it was that killed it. Hopefully though, the hunter was nice, or at least generous. The lioness just had to continue to hope as she drew nearer to where the source of the scent came from.

Her scent caught his attention instantly, his ears perked as his eyes began to search for her figure.
"No need to sneak around." He said almost aimlessly as he had yet to find her, but he knew she was close. He eyed his prey, hopefully a mother looking to feed her cubs, she could take it and the death wouldnt have been for nothing.
"If your hungry, please...come eat." He said with a shrug of his shoulders, he lowered to his belly and stretched his paws out, what little he had said was more than he often spoke to anyone.

When the voice called out to her as she approached, she quickly stopped in her tracks and ducked down a bit. At first, Asha thought she was in trouble and was being warned to stay away. What the other said next, truly caught her by surprise.
An offer to come and join in on the kill by a stranger was something she rarely heard, in fact, she never heard it. Well, she wasn't going to let the offer pass by, but she was going to be cautious. Slowly, she snuck closer to where she smelled the kill. Getting closer, the sight of a male laying by the dead animal made her nervous, but slowly, she still approached.
