What's Going On: Jennifer is arriving at the Sidekick Academy after being dropped off.

There hadn't been a moment like this in all of young Jennifer Northbridge's life before now. Staring up at the Academy from the little hover car that had picked her up from Sewit, Jennifer stared in wide eyed wonder at the complex; her little robot in her lap and dufflebag of belongings beside her.
This was the beginning of a very important journey and the girl was awash with so many emotions it was hard to separate and identify them all. Joy, curiosity, anxiety and worry-- a convoluted mix of contradictions and yet the thrill in her persisted over them all. Here she would be welcomed to make her mechanical devices to her heart's content without the scorn of those back home. Maybe this time things would turn out the way they were planned instead of the usual outcome...
The hover car alighted just past the main entrance to the Academy and pittered in place as it waited for it's passenger to exit. The automaton driving the vehicle was not programmed for the sort of cheerful banter and farewells a human might be comfortable with, so as the girl in her sidekick attire exited with her things the door closed and her ride flew off. While Jennifer thought she wouldn't feel anything at the dismissal of a chaufer vehicle seeing the last piece of home disappear from sight pulled at her heart strings and she watched it until it was gone. Hugging her electronic companion close to her chest, Jennifer took a deep breath and sighed. So that was that... Turning to face the monolith of the watch tower and the rest of the compound, Jennifer put the dufflebag over her shoulder and started inside.

Surely the kids are fitting in the academy quite well these past few weeks, after all those extensive tests they went through to get in. No trouble, other than Zone falling into a pit with a rookie mishap and him presumed that another new recruit was a spy of some sort. Thinking that those kids are part of his responsibility, nobody can blame Black Blood of being edgy, if they only knew he was nervous that is.
Sighing as he opened the door, "So far, so good..." he said to himself and saw a weird glasses girl with a duffle bag and a small robot outside of the building. Zone and the girl awkwardly stared at each other. "Who's this?" was all he could think about as the bell started to ring signaling the end of today's class.

Theo had managed to quietly slip out of his last class of the day before the bell had even rung. In the Academy's library he had managed to find himself an interesting cook book, filled to the brim with bakery goods which he thought would serve him well to learn.
Unfortunately for those around him, Theo had his nose firmly planted in that cook book. As a result, the little music-man did not see his elder on one side of him and he didn't notice the newly arriving gadgetry specialist student in front of him. It wouldn't take them too long before Theo and Jennifer collided.
In the mean time, he was eyeing a lovely red velvet cupcake recipe that he wanted to show Anemone. She seemed to enjoy his baking, even if his last offering to her as a roomate was a little burnt around the edges.

Staring up at the watch tower it took Jennifer a moment to realize there was life here amid the sight-seeing. Tucking her hair behind her ear, the girl could feel a grin begin to spread in spite of her nervous tensions.
The little bot hovered close to her, and when someone started towards her the machine's LED display started to blink between a face and an exclamation mark.It flitted back and forth without a sound though it did catch Jennifer's attention a moment too late.
The girl gave a shout of surprise and stumbled backward, her duffle falling to the ground with a heavy 'thunk'. Standing somewhat dumbfounded at the first encounter she had with another member of Sidekick Academy she felt her cheeks flush slightly; what should she say? Apologize for being in the way, express her admiration for finally meeting another sidekick, or maybe ask for directions to the front desk?

"What are students doing out of the classrooms when the bell just rung?" Two of them are now in front of him and are--
"Get a room. Really. Just a warning now, if I catch you two again, it's detention. Got it!" Maybe Zone was just too tired after too much stress these past few days. His body was still aching.
He left the two alone and headed for the cafeteria for some coffee.
