The Kakiatok arctic wolves are dwindling in number. Every winter they face more death, less food, suffering. Their leader makes a difficult decision: they will leave their home and travel south, and hopefully rebuild their pack.
But when they reach the outer snowy forests, they come across a strange pack of wolves-they are all blind! yet somehow, they see. These are the Uitayok wolves. They are the descendants of creatures tested upon and exploited, who returned to their ancestral home when Man finally destroyed himself. They have retained their lack of sight, but can sense around them with an almost supernatural power. The ground "speaks" to them.
They are a closely knit, distrusting group. But the Kakiatok must join them or die. Will you be a pleading Kakiatok? A distrusting Uitayok? Will you fall in love with a wolf you shouldn't? And most importantly, will you survive?Table of Contents

Rules!
o1. Gaia ToS. Seriously. Come on.
o2. Three-sentence rule. This RP is for all levels, as long as you adhere to the Guild-wide three-sentence rule. Please use punctuation appropriately, and check for spelling errors and grammar. If there's a lot of complaint about the way you post, I will ask you to alter it.
o3. Speaking should be in "quotes". OOC should be in [[these]] or ((these))
o4. Romance, drama, conflict, etc. are encouraged in this RP, just play by the ToS and we're good. If you have an issue with descriptions of gore (killing prey or fighting), please let me know. :]

Position: Female Beta-Seeking a Mate
Personality: Miortok is a curious female, and loves exploring. She is sometimes vain, and is especially proud of her howl. She is social, but also an observer-sometimes you'll catch her openly staring at another. She is actively seeking a mate, but she doesn't feel like she will ever want to be a mother-she enjoys her freedom too much. She is agile, but not strong. She loves a good joke, and loves to laugh.
Appearance: 
Other: Miortok is a "Singer", her howl is a long, plaintive note that carries many miles. It is a beautiful and pure sound, and earned her the position of Beta. She is responsible for calling the pack to meet, sending location information, and is present at all official events. As a Singer, her place in the hunt is to call the attack from a vantage point once all are in position.

Setting
Earth:
This is an alternate universe Earth, where Man advanced technologically extremely quickly and they have destroyed themselves. They've been gone about 150 years, so little remains of them but rubble.
Location:
This RP is set on a fantasy Earth-the continents are completely different. Also, these wolves would have no knowledge of what's beyond their territory. Make up geography as you go!
Seasons and Weather:
Seasons work the same way they do on our Earth, but weather is often more extreme and variable.
