Description: A three foot short staff she holds as a sword, Elemental Grace is gold-colorized light-steel, a lighter form a steel but with the same strength, with a prismatic opal set in the top of it. Having it on her allows her elemental attacks to be one rank higher by channeling the elemental attack through it, leaving one hand open for whatever purpose she may need.

Description of the Pet:
Mostly found in "elemental" areas, Dragon Fairies are the non-combatant, Rank E version of their cousins, the Dragons. These creatures grow to no longer than two feet in length, with their tail taking up two-thirds of that length. Their wings, though butterfly in appearance, are actually membranous to support their love of being stroked. Their abilities are passive unless they actively attempt to use them, in which it is only one rank stronger. This pet uses its chosen owner's energy pool for abilities with a rank. This is a rather pretty pet but otherwise useless in a fight.
Abilities:
Pathway (Innate)- Allows the dragon fairy to communicate vocally or telepathically with someone they have deemed a worthy owner.
Shift (Rank E)- change the color of one's wings to match the area that it is in. This is not camouflage by any means. Just a way to look like it belongs.
Flight (Innate)- self explanatory. It can fly but will not fly too far away from a preferred owner.
Demi Fae (Rank D)- Can change into a small humanoid fairy for about 5 posts a day. This is really only done for novelty value and has no combat value.

Her parents succumbing to disease at a young age, Liliana was found on the brink of death by traveling Bards looking for quick money. They took her to a slave dealer and left her with money in hand to be found a week later dead by each others greedy hands. Liliana would be jetted from master to master, some nice and others violent.
Liliana heard this family was nice but just because she could "see" on command, she was being beaten mercilessly by who she guessed to be the father. He was focusing on her head and it was giving her a strong headache. Just as the headache reached a peak, everything went quiet. There was no more beating on her head. Well, except for the headache of course. One of the other family members walked in and questioned her where the father went. But Liliana couldn't even look into anything to find out where he went. That was the first "bad circumstance" she was resold under. Now she was up to four of them. One more and she would be considered dangerous goods. Goods better left for disposal.
She continued through homes. The nice homes she hated leaving but had to since they fell on hard times. The bad houses... Well, there was only three more of those since the first incident. The second one ended up encased in the foundation of his home. The third fell fifty feet to his death from a balcony where her and the master were at a party. Finally, the latest one had turned inside out. Now she was in a new home and hopefully, the last home she'd be forced into.
Liliana was thankful for the visions this time. They allowed her to escape the retched reality she was living in. As her appointed "master" continued to beat on her for not speaking, she danced in meadows where lovers had played and watched a woman run by in gaiety while holding a swollen, pregnant belly. It was one of the few nice visions she had and she knew the woman too. It was only a shame that the woman had to sell her to keep her home. Once the belt had quit ravishing her skin, Liliana stood up to look at her would-be keeper. "I'm done with the pain you cause me," she echoed out in a hollow voice. Forcing herself in a splitting headache, Liliana scoured for this unlucky soul's future. He would be her last. The final "bad circumstance" that would take her out of this life forever.
The man balked to see bright green aura engulfed his slave. That was the last thing he ever saw. The report of the incident later stated that the authorities found a young girl in slave clothes in a room covered in blood. There was speculation that it was the girl but ruled her out when they realized she was blind. Since there was no way to find any family or relations to speak of, they released her to fend for herself. One less mouth on the tit of the government. Liliana was finally free. Free of her old life and everything that went with it. But what do do now? Thinking long and hard about it, she decided to seek out someone who could help her get these things she could do under control... Quote: "Well, I was born blind and from what I understood, the village I lived in was in the shadow of mountain Pronta sits on. We kept mostly to our village and my parents were proud of the fact they had birthed a seer into the world. I lived with them for five years, when they had someone from outside the village visit to see what else I might be able to do. When all the elemental representatives resonated with me, they knew I was a mage. They didn't know Fire was my primary until I fell into the bonfire and didn't burn alive. Not long after the person left, I had a vision of death. I warned my parents but I couldn't tell them what form the death took because I woke up before the vision was done. So the village barricaded themselves from the world, letting no one in or out. When the first person got sick, they were too paranoid to send for a healer. From there, it all spiraled out of control. The village was dying around me and I was dying with it." Liliana let go of Cain and wrapped her arms around herself. "A group of traveling bards found me. They took me out of the village to try and save me while one of them stayed behind to cleanse the area so no one else would get sick. i still don't know what they used on me but I got better. I was six by the time I was fully healed. When they figured out what I was and what i could do, they decided to cash in on me and sold me to a rich family as a entertainment slave. From there, the Darkness developed. It did things to the masters who treated me badly. The last one..." Liliana shivered. "The officers said the room was painted in his blood and they couldn't find any body parts. They let me go since they thought a blind girl couldn't do anything like that. So I ran and ended up in Nocturne."
But it doesn't stop there. With her own world falling apart from the problems with a certain man and the release of old evils, Liliana created a portal beside her lover Cain to find a new world where they might be able to live the quiet life they always wanted. Their journey brought them to Ernya, where their plants were always killing the citizens and bandits raided the farms and outlying areas whenever they pleased. Liliana handled the plants, using her connection to the elements to find what was wrong and bring back balance to their pained existence. For their timely salvation, the people of Ernya made Liliana their lady to rule with her wisdom and power so they would be able to prosper.

That is, besides the 'Cult'. Reginald's family line is a series of Kakurenbo, so being born into a cult, Reginald learned things in a different way than others, learning that feeding on hearts of the fallen was considered a delicacy. But around the time he was of the age 8, his village was seized by a group of noble knights. They came to purge all the kakurenbo who strived in this village, calling them 'demons' and 'unholy'. Out of fear and love, Reginald's parents quickly escaped the village and made a run for a nearby city. However, unbeknownst to his parents, a squad of the knights had discovered them and quickly pursued them. As a last resort, Reginald's parents hid him away in a cave as they drew away the knight's attention, leading them away from the cave. Alone in the dark for months, Reginald's mind began to twist. The more he thought about the incident, the more his mind twisted. He began to glorify all the blood and corpses left at his old village. That was what they were teaching him, was it not? Axiom:
For all his life, he never knew what he was or how he came into this world. All that Siegfried remembered was that he was an experiment gone wrong, the rest was all foggy to him. Siegfried had guess that he broke out of his containment and was let lose into the world of Axiom, thus making his way into the city of Sutami. At first the guards were prepared to attack the dark stranger, but the current King thought he could use this power for his city and that he could persuade this man into helping for the good of his city. Siegfried himself didn't remember of thing, only that he woke up in some bedroom, the King near the door with two of his guards, the King himself seem pleased to see this minion of darkness. The King spoke in his justly voice, his calm tone but rough to were wisdom could leak out. Siegfried told the King that he didn't remember a thing or how he got into the city, with no choice he accepted the offer the King gave him, thus making the man a citizen and a solider to Sutami.
Rykros:
When he arrived in this strange world from the portal, he found himself with Liliana and Cain in the Ernya territory and was confused at what just happen. At first he thought they were in some other realm but came to realize that this is another world. He always thought about returning back to his him world but he grew a custom to this one and just went on in life in Rykros. He also thought that this life was easier than running away from Fenrir and protecting Liliana would be easier as well. ╫Background Information╫
Cain was born in a village where mechanics and other tinkerers live. Machinery and weaponry was a part of his life, unlike his parents who stayed away from such technology. They left every weekened, clad in white and white bands over their eyes and didn't come back until the next day. Cain didn't care about this. All he cared about was his rifles and ordinance. His life changed, though, when his home was raided by bandits. A flamethrower to his face left his left eye blind and his left side of his face scarred. He wears a white cloth over his left eye to keep it from being irritated. The only survivor of his family and village, Cain now wanders the kingdoms, working as a hired sniper.
During his wandering, he met a seer named Liliana and traveled with her as his guardian and as her lover. The two bore a child together, Emellia. During that time, Cain became king of the former home that Lili resided in. One day, Lili called him to the spire where a portal had been found. The two, including their daughter, entered to investigate and were warped to a new world. During the warp, Cain gained part of Lili's powers and became a seer.
During his travels with Lili in the new world, Cain was able to master his Seer abilities and found ways to implement his skills with his gunnery abilities. The two then happened upon a village being ravaged by wild plants and attacks from bandits. While Lili taught the farmers to use the plants, Cain taught them to build weaponry and to use firearms in order to repell bandits. Cain's accuracy with a rifle despite his blindness earned him respect among the villagers and earned him the nickname the Third Eye. He now rules the area known as Ernya as Lord with his wife, Liliana.

Garett hailed from the from the noble lineage of the Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci. He grew up in Italy with his family. He had only one sibling, Antonio, who was going to become a scholar when grew old enough to study. Garett, however, being seven years older, had to begin his life and was forced to live a pious one. His family wanted him to grow up as a priest and bring a holy presence unto their name. He had no choice but to do as they say.
Garett and his brother grew close. They were always together, but then something horrible happened one day. A strange portal opened up and sucked in his brother. Garett acted through his instincts and jumped through, too. However, he didn't manage to grab hold of his brother and the two of them came out of the portal at two different regions. His brother came out on a farm somewhere near Ernya and Garett came out of the portal in the mountains somewhere.
Garett spent a week getting out of the mountains. When he did, he stumbled upon a monastery that was home to many priests and a few paladins that served as the guards in case of an invasion by demons. They took in Garett and taught him their ways. Since he was already used to living a pious life, Garett adjusted quickly. Eventually, he was was given the chance to join the guards and become a paladin. At this point in time, he was only at the young age of sixteen. He accepted the offer and trained for years. When he was twenty-one years old, the priests and paladins all decided to migrate their practices to Ernya. Garett, or course, came with them. Little did he know that he was going to be in the same province as his little brother.
During the travels, the group came across a massive demon with great power. Garett and the other paladins fought with all their might to protect the priests, but they didn't have enough strength to destroy this demon. The only way to save the priests and bring them to safety was to send someone out to take them away and hide them. Garett was ordered to take on this job. Reluctant at first, he did end up accepting the task and he led the group of priests away from the demon. All of the paladins were killed, but the demon never came to pursue Garett or the priests. Eventually, Garett got the priests to safety and brought them to a safe village. He lived there for a year before he decided to travel. The village had a powerful team of guards that would protect the priests and Garett needed to go make a name for himself and a crusader of justice.

Life is never a pretty thing. Even if it seems as if someone has had it easy, you will never know their personal hardships, the roadblocks they had to overcome. This is not to say everyone is equally as ****ed as others. I look back at my life, and think that it is perhaps one of the worst I have seen… Here, let’s go through my story, and see if you don’t agree.
Allysa Felicia Redemptation, born into the respected Redemptation family, was not everything her parents expected of her. From birth it was as if everyone in the family knew something was wrong with the girl. They knew her life would be hard, and that she would never amount to much.
During her first few years, Allysa grew up as she was expected to. Daily lessons in both strength and intelligence, she exceeded at nothing. A slow learner, and an average fighter, the girl was shunned by the others in her household. Her parents called her a ‘failure,’ her siblings an ‘accident.’ Not even her nannies wanted much to do with the girl. By the age of five, Allysa knew something was wrong with her life. Finally working up the courage to ask her father about it, he simply shook his head and hit her. His words after that were harsh and unforgiving. ”A failure should not address me so simply. Leave my presence until you prove yourself whelp.” The girl hid for days, until the family’s guards found her in the forest to the east of the household. Beating her mercilessly, they brought her home in shambles, only to see her parents scold her more. Life was not right.
Another few years passed, and Allysa was finally at the age of ten. Still not accepted by her family, the girl was limited to a single friend. The daughter of a kitchen cook, Florence kept the girl company in the darkest of times. They two would play and wander when Allysa could manage to get away, and sneak back unnoticed. This was not to last, as seemed to be the problem with the girl’s joys. One fateful summer day, the girl was called to her father’s study. This was a happening that was not right, something that should not be, as she was still considered a failure. With worry in her heart, the girl went to her father’s study at the appointed time, only to find a horrifying sight. Dead on the floor, heart ripped from her chest, Florence’s eyes were glazed over with the touch of death. Allysa screamed until her vocal cords could no longer produce sound, calling Florence’s name again and again. Once the noise of her pain ended, her father merely stood and walked past her. As he left the room, wiping the blood from his mouth with a silk handkerchief, he muttered but a single sentence. ” Friends are for the weak, and you are weak enough as it is.” Left catatonic by her father, Allysa was dragged to her room and confined there for three weeks by the guards, given but one meal a day.
Now eighteen, Allysa was still profoundly weak amongst her clan, though she was devoid of feeling and emotion. This had become her notably ‘best’ quality, as perceived by those in the residence. Her father would now talk to the girl in small short bursts, though he would never once acknowledge her skills or powers. Life was no better for the girl, even with the little acceptance she received. Though this was the case, an innate drive to prove herself to her family, to make them love her and acknowledge her drove the girl, enough so that she would sacrifice everything for them. It was then that the murders took place. Two months after her birthday, uncelebrated as usual, the residence was attacked everything living slaughtered. This was the result of a string of bad deals that Allysa’s father had made recently, though it was never to be found out. By the purest of coincidence, the girl was away in the woods tending to her hidden flower patch when the murders happened. As she came back deep into the night, the girl was greeted with the stench of iron, the smears of crimson, and the silence of the dead. Afraid and worried, she ran through the house looking for anyone left alive. It was as she came to her father’s study that she found her parents, gravely wounded and on the brink of death. As she approached them, she stopped her tears and emotions, wearing her stone face as usual. This caused both of her parents to smile at her, the first time in her life. As her mother’s life gave out, her father managed his last words. ”Become strong, and wear that face for your life. You look so strong right now; I feel a pride that I never thought possible towards you. Take the mask hidden under the bed, and if you ever…” The man started coughing, blood pouring from his mouth. It was then that his life gave out, the light extinguished. Allysa stood, took the mask from the room, and left to hers. Packing nothing but the barest of essentials, she left the residence, the mask covering her face. With that began her second chance at life.
If Allysa’s life seemed difficult up until now, no one will ever know the truth of hardships. You see, when she was never allowed off of the grounds of her residence, nor did she wander far when she snuck out. Having only seen a miniscule part of the world, the girl was not prepared for what she was to face…
Having only packed the barest of essentials, Allysa’s easy travelling did not last long. Buffeted by the harsh weather, and tormented by the surrounding wildlife, the girl came to know true despair as she slowly lost what food she had, what clothes she wore, and what sleep she was allowed. Each night seemed to go on longer as she sat awake, surrounded by the silence of darkness. Gripped by fear and exhaust, the girl collapsed on the road a mere week from setting out.
She awoke some time later, bedding covering her in warmth, the smell of cooked food cleansing her nostrils. The door opened to reveal a handsome man bringing in a tray of food, a smile crossing his face as he saw she was awake. His name was Roy, and he was a wood chopper who worked in the forest. He had found her collapsed on the way home in the evening two days prior, and decided to aid the young girl. Allysa, though tainted in regards to her emotion, thanked the man from the bottom of her heart. Asking where she was from, Roy was the first man to hear of the girl’s cruel life and fate. After a few hours of talking, he would come to tell her he was taking her under his care, and that she would be safe here. Thus began a new chapter in Allysa’s life.
Throughout the year that Allysa spent living with Roy, she came to learn a great deal of things that she was not allowed to before. Cooking, cleaning, and daily household chores became a specialty of the girl’s, and though they were a bore at first, she came to earn an amount of content from doing them. Her skills with magic faded in this time, though she never gave up on her fighting practice and would often go off at night when she couldn’t sleep to train. Roy worked all day, and managed to be able to pay for the both of them, even with a pitiable sum of money earned from his labours. Their lives were happy, and filled with both love and happiness. Yet, just as suddenly as it began, their relationship ended abruptly.
In order to afford a special present for their one year anniversary of knowing each other, Roy took out a loan from a man in the closest town. The next week, he was injured in the forest, and became unable to work. In order to pay off his debts, the man he borrowed from offered him one of two choices. Either he would forfeit his life, or he would give Allysa to the man. As if the last year mattered nothing to him, the girl found herself bound and gagged in mere minutes. She would never come to find the answers to her questions later in life, as Roy was killed not but a few days later. Why did he do that? Was their relationship a lie? Or was it that he hated her for some reason? Nothing came to mind as she was carted off to the town, where the worst possible outcome came for her. They never removed the bounds in town. The barely fed her or let her drink anything of nutritious value. They only did one thing to her, for days on end. Mercilessly, as if her mind and body mattered not, Allysa was raped for seven days before she was thrown out in the gutter. Seven days of pain and torture, seven days of endless drugs… With no way of discerning where she was, or what to do, the girl merely wandered the town’s alleys and gutters for two days more before finally coming to her original state of mind. Yet, was her mind truly as it should be? Was it fully intact, and fully functional for nineteen years of age? The answer, obviously, was no.
Humans are a cruel race, harsh and unforgiving. Though they fake care and concern well, when it boils down to certain situations and times, they will gladly sacrifice another for themselves. This is the truth, and can not be denied by any other. Be it family, friend, or simply stranger, if they be human, do not trust and do not help. Live only for yourself and those of trustworthy blood, as that is all anyone should do in the first place.
Though one would think that a town was safer than the wilderness, the truth remained for Allysa that it wasn’t. Not wanting to stay any longer in the hellhole that surrounded her, the girl fled for the forest. There she would stay and grow for a year more, until she was twenty. It was during this time that she did her most profound aging, and the best lessons were learnt by her. Fending for herself, with no one to trust but her own shadow, the girl lived off the land, surviving only by sheer will and cunning. Her mind developed greatly in this time, her body growing lean and fast, and her skills with fighting and magic growing. Yes, she returned to her practice of magic in this time, teaching herself through the process of trial and error what she should and should not do. It was on the day of her twentieth birthday, though she knew not that fact, that the heavens shone down upon her. As if taking pity, a great voice spoke to the girl, wise in tone and aged in speak. ”Doth thou wish for more prowess? Doth thou require more strength, more mind power?” Though scared at first by the voice, Allysa thought the words over and over in her mind. Hours passed before she dared speak back to the voice. ”I require all I can get, for if I am to live, I will need more than what I have been born for.” With that, a great warmth surrounded the girl alleviating her body of it’s aches and pains. Standing up the girl looked to the sky as a shadow began to come down from the heavens towards her. In moments an angel like boy was standing beside her, his half-crooked smile a warm sight to the beaten girl. The light faded, though the warmth did not. The voice spoke to her once more, the last time she would hear it for a long time. ”Thou hast received my blessing. Rykort is the name of who you hear, and it is the name of who you are watched over by. Heed it well, and take the knowledge it gives. As you grow child, you shall receive my knowledge slowly. Gifted is what you shall be in mind, though strength is what you shall lack. Though this may be, never let your will waver, or your resolves flutter. Be strong, even with little strength. Your body is not your limit, for your mind is vast. Good bye my child. I bid you well.” With that, the warmth left the girl, though a new warmth enveloped her. Still smiling, the angel boy bowed, and from his side drew a sword. ”The symbol of our pact. It shall give you strength that you lack, and will be our binding item. My name is Alaster, and I shall be watching over you from now on.” With that, Allysa’s third and current life began.
Even if life is full of anguish, there is always the saviour known as faith. Faith is not only for those with a god, but for those who know of themselves. Faith is simply the belief that there is something more, something attainable. Never give up on your faith, no matter it’s form. It will save you, and it will prove to be more than you could ever wish for.
Life, though a slight bit easier with Alaster’s newfound help, still proved to be difficult for the girl. Over her next few years, the boy and her taught each other much. From fighting to magic, from stories to silence. The two became as if one, an unbreakable bond being forged for all eternity. The forest proved a wondrous home for the two, where they could practice and live in peace. Alaster became the first to see Allysa’s face outside of her first residence in life, and the only to see it to this day. He also became a secret love of the girl’s, though she knew they could never be together. Time passed, enough that Allysa was aged twenty-two years. It was around this time that the two came to the realisation that they could teach each other no more, and would have to seek another source of knowledge beyond the borders of the forest. With the guidance of Rykort, the angel was able to discern a path to the capital of the country they were in, a city by the name of Ernya. It would be there that a new chapter in the two’s life would begin, and it was there that both would be able to come once again to the outside world, the real world. Though the forest was a truly wondrous place, one could not ignore the on goings of the recent time. For, as with everyone else in the world (though this was unbeknownst to the two), Allysa suffered from a terrible vision of the end of everything. It was as this vision’s effects wavered from her mind that the girl set out with the angel, their way to the capital was set in stone, and they began their travel. Hopefully it would not take long. Hopefully… Hopefully things would go well for the girl without trust, for the one left with no faith in what remained of the outside world. She simply had one thing in mind. Get stronger, never lose, never waiver in her search for truth, and never again let someone control who she was.
