A small room, lit by the windows behind the desk, houses a desk and a few stacks of books. It is the residence of the Senju Clan Lord. The poor fool is probably stooped over a pile of books and reports… or sleeping.

The woman shook her head as she continued towards the clan leader's office. And they said this boy could see even though he was blind. These two were going to get on her nerves, she could feel it already.
She stopped in front of the building that housed the clan leader's office and turned toward the two.
"Let's go. Both of you inside here."
She sighed. Her assignment to get these kids to the office was becoming less of an assignment and more of a babysitting duty.

Talon Senju

Following them normally for a moment Talon looked around for a moment observing everything that was going on around him, it was clear that they were going to be on an mission of very great importance but he had no idea what to expect. All he did expect was that he was heading into a battle in this mission and he didn't like that thought at all, sighing to himself for a moment he looked over to his friend Uani for a moment and listened to her. As uani started talking to her about her beautiful and stuff Talon smiled darkly to himself for a moment, he was really ready for another to come now.

Looking at the woman for a moment that ordered them to get inside the building he watched as Uani agreed and entered the building, smiling Talon bowed to her respectfully for a moment and walked inside the building for a moment. He was going to follow Uani for a while and make sure that nothing happened to either of them while they were here, Sighing to himself in stress for a moment Talon looked over to Uani for a moment and spoke in his dark voice again. " So What are we going to expect here, it has to be massively important if he had to come here. "

A strange sound could be heard as a man seemed to slurp out of the ground of the floor. The ground beneath him returned to its regular state. He walked over to the desk and sat down, sighing as he did so. He was exhausted from the day's duties. He looked outside the window and smiled, obviously pleased with the wonderful day it was outside. He made no move to address the two in front of his desk until the woman with purple hair cleared her throat from the doorway.

He jumped and turned around towards the front of his desk. He laughed as the woman rolled her eyes. "So sorry about that! I didn't even notice you guys." He nodded to the woman at the door. "Thank you for bringing them here for me, Yumiko." Turning back to the two genin he grabbed some papers and looked them over with a quick glance. "Alright now for the small mission I have for you here. It's not an actual mission mind you just a local one. Have either of you heard of the thief who's been breaking in and stealing things?"

Kensei nodded at Uani. He had studied the girl that the previous clan leader had taken in from the destroyed Aramori clan. She was a friendly, dependable young girl with a strong will, which in her case was very good since she wasn't good at many things ninja like. But she did have that will and a strong mentality and that was what Kensei had liked about her. He had only seen her ability once(not successfully but used none the less) but believed that she would one day figure things out and become a great ninja.
"Yes. That is the case we have on our hands. Strangely enough, this one seems to have either a conscious or has a great sense of humor as she returns whatever she steals the night after."
He glanced over to Yumiko and nodded to her. She turned and began to rummage through some papers near his desk. He smiled as he turned back at the two young people in front of him.
"Now Yumiko saw this thief just last night so we have a rough sketch of what she looks like. Yumiko? Did you find it?"
She mumbled an affirmative and pulled out a piece of paper with a pencil drawn sketch of the Crimson Shadow. It was a perfect rendition of her in mid run. Kensei nodded and snapped his fingers.
"That's the one! Alright now I would like you two to investigate this woman and if possible bring her to me. I wish to speak with her of her motives and whether or not we can convince her to join us. Her talents would be quite useful for the advancement of our clan. You can work together or separately if you so please. That is all, your dismissed."
He gave the two a large grin as he finished his statement. He was confident they would be able to find the culprit. He had some ideas but none were 100% certain. He'd let these two have a chance to prove themselves and if they succeeded then they would have opportunities to move up.

"Every failure is a chance to improve yourself...
I'll never give up until I'm the best that I can be!"

Theme: Interesting People

As Uani heard the description of the thief's MO and saw the picture, she knew that she was finished. They might not have been able to tell it was her yet, but now that people were specifically searching for her, there was no way she could return what she stole without getting caught or having to display her kekei genkai. Luckily for her, however, Kensei wasn't talking about throwing the thief in a dungeon for her crimes, instead he wanted her to join them. It was possible that if she did reveal herself that they would be impressed with her.

Then again there was the strong possibility that they would be quite upset. They had been nice enough to open their doors to her and she repays them with thievery? No, she definitely couldn't let the truth be known. However she couldn't fail her mission either... It just seemed like a lose-lose situation.

When Talon turned to her, saying that this would be good training for them, she let out a nervous laugh

"Y-yeah, I guess it will be...anyway lets get going right away! We don't want the crook getting away..."

On the inside, Uani was shaking. She didn't know what she could do. She needed a way to be in two places at once...

When Talon decided against tying her up, Crimson couldn't even hide the sigh of relief.

"Phew...Thank you. Alright, lets get this started."

It didn't take long for them to make it back to the office, as they had never traveled too far from it in the first place. As they made it inside, Crimson didn't seem too shy about just walking into Kensei's office as if she had an invitation. Part of the disguise was also the way Crimson acted, this was her first real time actually speaking to someone else in this form so she had to make sure her personality seemed different than what Uani's was like. Crimson walked into the center of the room, seemingly paying no mind to Talon or the kunai he had pointed at her. She just folded her arms and looked directly at Kensei, seemingly without fear.

"The lord of the Senju Clan, I presume? I go by the name Crimson Shadow, though I'm sure you already knew that. Your cheery friend with the blade to my back said you wanted to see me. Since I'm not dead or in a prison, I'm guessing that its not just to see me pay for my crimes. So, what is it that you want?

As Crimson spoke, she took the necklace from around her neck. She did so overtly, making sure nobody thought she was reaching for a weapon. She then took the necklace and put it down on Kensei's desk.

"Here you go. I was on my way towards returning it when dumb luck led sunshine here to cross my path. Saves me the trouble of putting it back myself, I suppose...nowhere near as fun though..."

The Great Truth Burgler

As Crimson heard her name, her real name, she couldn't help but sigh. She should have known better than this, if Talon could see through her, then it only made sense that the head of their clan could as well. The attitude that she seemed to have seemingly faded away. She nervously rubbed her hands against eachother.

"I...I'm sorry, Kensei-sama. I didn't mean to make anyone upset."

Another plan that failed. Now it looked like there was no escaping it at all. Kensei knew that she was a thief, and he wouldn't let someone who stole from them live among them. One could easily see the sadness in Crimson's eyes.

"It's just that...thievery is in my blood. Whenever I break through defenses to steal something, it makes me feel excited and alive. And its something I'm really good at. I train hard every day, but I'm still not good at most things. But when I'm out to steal something, I feel like I'm the best at it in the world. To feel excitement and to keep my skills sharp, that's why I did it... And I always put things back because I don't want to take anything from anybody. The Senju clan has been good to me, the last thing I want to do is take people's valuables from them. So whenever I took something, I made sure to return it the very next night. I usually hope that people don't even realize it ever went missing. I know stealing from the clan is wrong, but...I...I don't have an excuse for what I did. I'm sorry..."

Crimson closed her eyes, not being sure what was going to happen next. Was he going to banish her? Arrest her? Maybe even have her executed? She was shaking even thinking of what her fate would be...
