Charlie had yet again found him self, yet again, in the undead dorms. The demon often found him self unconsciously wandering over to them based on the days he used to stalk Amrita. It wasn't til he was inside the dorms that Charlie realized where he was.
He frowned and kicked his feet in to the ground. It made the demon sad to think that not to long ago he'd happily wander the halls. A love sick puppy on a mission. To bother Amrita! And now... it just wasn't the same. He wasn't sure why it wasn't, but it wasn't. This place was just a reminder of what once was.
Well okay, Charlie didn't understand these deep complicated feelings he was having. But he knew he didn't like them very much. With a heavy heart, the demon sighed and turned about to walk on out and adventure else where. Staying here only made him feel all these complicated feelings that were way beyond his understanding and reason.

Something zipped in through the front door of the undead dorms - something small, feline, and smelling of lovely blueberry pastry. It was also moving quite fast, leaving a trail of rainbows behind it as it darted through the foyer and up the stairs...

His worries were quickly forgotten though. Something else had caught his attention. Something with rainbows?
Curious, Charlie went up the stairs to follow what ever it was.

The rainbow trail went up the stairs, turning at the second floor landing and going down the hall. It led, ultimately, to one particular door, and a pastry-cat pawing pitifully at said door with one little paw.
"Nyan..."

The demon did his best to keep up with the rainbow. But it was fast and he could only really keep up with the tail end of it. That was until the trail stopped at a door down the hall.
Charlie stopped too at the top of the stairs and eyed the creature pawing at one of the dorm doors. Part pastry, part cat, and part rainbows? Curious. There was nothing to hide behind to sneak up on the creature so Charlie just boldy started to walk towards the thing.
"Here rainbow floating cat pastry thing.... I got some gum ~?" Charlie pulled some chewed gum out of his pocket. It was covered in lint and hair.

The pastry-cat stretched out cautiously, then recoiled once he got within range of the disgusting hairball. Yech! He pawed at the door again, this time a little more frantically... and this time some faint noises emanated from within, as if the room's occupant had finally realized someone was at the door.

The demon frowned. Why didn't the cat majigger want his gum? He placed it back in his pocket for later. Though, now that he thought about it, Masaru didn't ever go for the gum either.
Charlie froze when he heard faint noises from behind the door. A deer in the head lights. Was he bothering some ones pet?

A moment later, the door swung open - the pastry-cat didn't waste one second, either. As soon as the door was open wide enough to admit it, the thing was gone, leaving only that rainbow trail and a fading sense of nyaaaaaaa~n.
"... buon giorno to you too," Malodore muttered, then realized somebody else was there besides the erstwhile feline. It looked up hurriedly, bobbing its head in greeting. "Ah, my apologies, I was not expecting anyone else...." The pink hair and wings were familiar, but only vaguely... a classmate, surely, but it couldn't quite place a name to the face.

The door opened. At first all the demon could see was the shape of the one opening the door. But then, focusing in, Charlie noticed that this was an avian like creature in a robe. Charlie chewed his lip some.
"I was... Uh... That thing... Rainbows?" The pastry cat had done a good job of scrambling Charlies brain functions. "How?"
Sure mini pets came in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Pastry mini pets were not unheard of. But one that emitted rainbows? Charlie looked to Malodore expectantly.

"Ah. Yes." Malodore sighed and shook its head. "I'm not entirely sure how, but it seems that when pastry-felines hit a certain speed, they immediately begin emitting a trail of rainbows. Possibly also a haunting tune. Thankfully, it does not happen all the time."

Malodores answer only raised more questions from the pink haired demon.
"... If I were to go super fast would I get rainbows?" The tail end of the question had just a jab of excitement in his voice. Just a jab. "Is this true for everyone?" For just a split moment, Charlies eyes may have opened just a bit.

"I highly doubt that..." Malodore studied its visitor once more. The conversation was bringing up more memories. Like of a boat with a lollipop mast that floated despite all theoretical laws of science. "Have you ever tried?"
This could be amusing. Perhaps.

Charlie looked thoughtful. It was amazing he actually had to think about if he'd tried this before or not. Finally the demon shook his head. "No. I don't believe I have." He scratched his head, "I suppose I could try. Uhh... Whats your name again...errr bro?" Charlie was honestly not sure this creatures gender. It was lucky he even called ghouls bro or dude on a constant basis.

"Malodore," it supplied. "And you are... Charles? I am sorry, I don't believe we've met outside of classes. Human Studies, I believe? With the lollipop boat? If you already have a talent for sugar, rainbows cannot be far behind."
Okay, so that was kind of a fabrication. Otherwise, Riley had the biggest talent for rainbows in all Halloween.

Charlie raised a brow. Human studies... OH RIGHT! He'd never paid much mind to Malodore before. But now that he thought about it... the two had classes together.
"BOATS!" Charlies nodded recalling the event. "R-right. That was ... Human Studies? Is that what class we were in?" He never paid much mind to exactly what class room he stumbled in. And boats had not really cried human to him. It was slightly sad because Charlie had Savage as a teacher more then once.
And he still wasn't getting it judging from the blank stare he was giving Malodore.
