"A box without hinges, key, or lid, yet golden treasure inside is hid." J.R.R. Tolkien On this day the sun was high in the sky, the wind was providing a slight breeze, and one small yellow Nixie was on a mission. His fins and mane fluttering from the occasional gusts of wind. In his mouth was a pouch that was overfilled with shiny treasures, around his neck was a necklace, and stuck on the his forearm was a bracelet.
Sun Chaser was heading towards his stash, with his newest finds, He was delighted that the lead had proved itself true. His latest hunt had turned out successful and he had several more trinkets to add to his collection. The were two that he cherised the most, well it was actually a set. The set consisted of a fairly heavy golden and jeweled necklace with a dangling sun charm that matched a golden filigreed bracelet that had a sun design in the middle, along with those Sun Chaser was carrying a small pouch that had all sorts of jewels, necklaces, and bracelets stuffed in it.

The stallion circled lazily over head, enjoying the feel of the wind against his face, and the power he felt while in flight. It was something he was grateful he had inherited, the ability to fly, to free himself from the land far below. It was strangely addicting to bounce from thermal to thermal, to catch an updraft and be flung high in to the sky, only to fold his wings and dive to the earth below. The rise and falls of flight was amazing, and this afternoon was no different. While he wasn't pulling off any dangerous stunts, Atraiu had nothing going on this particular day. It was just him, the wind and . . .a strange glint below.
What . . .?
Leave it to the stallion to have his attention pulled away by something that glittered. He was too high above to really see what it was that sparkled, but he certainly wasn't going to ignore it! He could resume his flight after he investigated the glinting object.
Allowing his wings to fold a bit, the stallion glided in a lazy circle above the area, lowering his altitude and coming closer to the earth. Sure enough, the sun struck off the objects, helping him pinpoint the location. The lower to the earth he got, the better he could see that whatever was gleaming was moving. . .and was apparently stuck on some miniature soquili!
The little creature was donned in bracelets and various jewels, and seemed to be holding a pouch. Well, well, well. . . now that was something Atraiu found most interesting. Treasure. Just because the treasure looked to be owned, didn't mean the ebony haired stallion was going to ignore it. Dropping down neatly to the ground, not far from where the little strange usdia was scurrying, Atraiu called out to him. "Looks like someone's in a bit of a hurry . . . Need any help carrying any of that?"
One could only hope, after all.

Sun Chaser heard a rustling of wings overhead, but he figured it was just a bird of some kind. He continued onwards without hearing the wind stallion land, but when he heard the voice behind him he jumped. He wasn't able to jump too high, but his jump did successfully dislodge some of the jewels in the bag. He sighed slightly before he bent his head down to set the pouch on the ground.
He turned around to look at the stallion, who had talked to him. He was standing slightly over the pouch of jewels, just in case the unknown stallion wanted to steal them. He may not be that tall or look too tough, but he had been known to stand his own.
He looked up at the red stallion, and Sun Chaser had to admit he looked pretty. Another thing he looked was sincere, but Chase was still a little cautious. He thought for a second "I'm just heading home with my spoils," he said indicating his jewels and trinkets. "As for the offer, I don't know you. For all I know you could be a thief or a murderer, even though you don't look like one... I'm sorry that was rather rude of me, my name is Sun Chaser." Sun Chaser thought that exchanging his name would in some way make up for his forwardness.
