What he was doing, Zuriel couldn't remember. He'd just started out on some great and marvelous adventure! Like Little Red Riding Hood, his wanderings had led him further and further away from the place he'd called home, until the little one hardly even knew what home or family was any longer.

Sometimes, he didn't mind, because in all Zuriel was a happy critter and satisfied with what was directly in front of him. He wasn't old enough yet to wish there was more to be had. He knew what fear was, certainly, but sometimes ignorance trumped fear and he just didn't see reason to fear the new things. Nothing had jumped out at him, or tried to trip him, or anything like that, so he could keep on going until his curiosity was satiatiated.

But when Zuriel finally reached a little hill that gave him full view of the building that had caught his attention, he still didn't know what it was, but instinct finally kicked in and told him it was very different, and he should proceed cautiously. The young azrein sat down to stare. Well, what to do about that thought? Mmm...
