 Isis decided that instead of going to bed early she was going to go on a moonlit stroll through the forest where she lived. It wasn't something she did often, but she figured that it was worth her time this once. She was restless for some reason and needed to get out of her cave for awhile. Maybe it was because of the dreams she had been having lately. It seemed all she had lately was nightmares and it was disturbing her.

 Faelan was exploring. Again. She did it quite a lot and it drove her youngest brother batty. She didn't know why he'd taken it upon himself to be the protector for both her and Venton, but it was seriously annoying. That's why she had ganged up with that one vixen. Maybe now she and Venton could wander in peace and meet foxes and find mates.
Faelan walked passed a bear's den and paused. Hmm...wonder what would happen if I stuck my nose in there? She thought. She did have a bad habit of doing things that were semi-dangerous. But then she knew that she could out run one of the fuzzy creatures. Just as she was about to jump in and scare the bear, she heard leaves crackling behind her.
Tilting her head, Faelan decided to check it out. After all, she could take care of herself, so there wasn't anything too dangerous in these woods. Padding over, she saw another female walking along, the moonlight glinting off her collar and leg bands. Not wasting any time, Faelan trotted right up to her. "Hello. What brings you out and about so late?"

So absorbed in her thoughts, Isis didn't realize that she was being approached until the vixen spoke. Jumping slightly at the sound she slowly cocked her head over to the side and looked at the purple vixen baffled. What had she said to her? Most likely it had been hello but unfortunately she hadn't heard the second part. Well oh well, might as well pretend that she had heard it.
"Hey." Isis greeted the vixen, "I'm talking a walk around the forest while the moon is still high....." At the word moon her eyes zeroed in on the marking of the purple vixen. Strange that her patterns were a full moon and lightning. Not that she was saying it was a bad thing. Just a unique one.
"I'm guessing you had the same idea?"

Faelan grinned and shook her head. "Not exactly. I'm always up late because I'm mostly nocturnal. It kinda runs in the family." She said, thinking of her parents. "But just before I heard you, I was going to wake up a bear and see if that would stop me from being bored. I figured doing something new would be more entertaining."
Looking the vixen over didn't do Faelan much good; the moon was leaching color out of their surroundings. The other vixen faded quite nicely into the dark background too, being mostly black...or an extremely dark color. Her markings looked almost silvery green under the moon. Faelan grinned again.
"So here I am, meeting someone new. I'm Faelan." She said, sitting. The purple vixen tilted her head questioningly, wondering if the other fox would give her name or not.

Isis looked at her with wide eyes, "You were going to wake up a bear? Wow....I will say this much for you." Isis laughed, "You are a very brave vixen to tangle with a bear." She shook out her hair as she smiled. "Hm...Faelan huh?" Isis nodded her head, "My name is Isis..."
"You're right about one thing. it is nice to meet someone. I haven't met anyone new since Glitch....he's very interesting...though confused most of the time. Do you by chance know a vixen named Sienna? I was going to help him look for her."

"I believe 'irresponsible' is the word my baby brother would choose. He's a lot more of a mommy's boy though. And a daddy's boy. Although, is it really brave when you know for a fact that you can out run the bear." Faelan asked with a wicked grin.
"It's nice to meet you, Isis. Though I'm afraid I can't help you. I don't know a Glitch or a Sienna, I do know a Dervla and a Sheherizade. You aren't looking for one of those, are you?" The purple vixen chuckled and twitched her tail in amusement. She had been right, meeting this vixen was more amusing than ticking off a bear.

"Well it is irresponsible as well....But mostly I think it is reckless and brave at the same time..." Isis sighed. It seemed that no one had ever met this vixen. She started to wonder if this vixen even existed, maybe she was just created in Glitch's mind. "Hm....Oh no...i have never heard of either of them either. She...shehe...." Isis made a face, "That is a very strange name your friend has...."
The vixen shook out her fur, "It's fine though...I am sure Glitch can find her eventually...i think he really liked her..." She looked up at the moon wondering if anyone would ever be that devoted to her. "So Fae....wanna go do something dangerous?"

Faelan grinned and flicked her tail confidently. "Well, thanks for that then. I like 'brave' more than 'irresponsible'." She laughed at Iris' attempt at saying the name of the female. She had to admit, it was a hard name. "Sheherizade does have a strange name. I like it, though, it's very unique."
"I do hope your friend find this girl, whoever she is. Oh, and for future reference...I always want to do something dangerous." She said with a purr and a grin, brushing her shoulder against the other vixen's. "What did you have in mind?"

"It is a unique name....and beautiful I suppose but I shall never be able to say it." Isis laughed as she shook her head, "I much prefer Faelan." She shrugged her shoulders, "It is unique but still pronounceable." The black and sea-green vixen watched the other rub against her shoulder. Hanging with this vixen would definitely never prove to be boring if she was always up for a little danger. Isis had never really considered herself an adrenaline junky, but she did like the occasional rush.
"Well instead of the bear idea I was thinking about something a little different. Have you ever heard of something called cliff diving?" The vixen grinned, "It's quite the rush."

Faelan laughed. "Why thank you, Isis. I'm quite attached to my name as well. I like yours though, it sounds exotic." She smiled flirtatiously at the other vixen. "No, I have never heard of cliff diving. But it definitely sounds like fun. Will you teach me, Isis?" Faelan purred.

"Exotic?" Isis laughed, "I suppose that it is in a way....me not being from around here and all." She cocked her head to the side. Was Faelan flirting with her? The thought made her heart beat a little faster. The vixen was attractive, very attractive. She grinned. This was going to be a very interesting night indeed.
"Of course, thought there isn't much to teach." She laughed, "Approach the edge and jump...it's really as simple as that. Only you got to choose height that won't kill you from jumping." She added with a wicked smile.

"Well, it's more exotic than Ookami or Rai. Even Fenrir isn't that exotic." Faelan said with a smile. She raised her eyebrows at the description of the activity. "How is that any different from jumping off boulders or tree limbs? Is it simply going high enough to almost hurt you when you hit the ground?" She asked confused.

"What? Oh..." She giggled, "Oops..." Isis smiled at the vixen, "I left out the important fact that this is over water." She shook her head, "You definitely don't want to land onto something solid, it would break your bones at the very least. Hell it might even kill you. And where would be the fun in dying." She shook her head again.
"Nah....sorry that was my bad. Cliff diving is over a body of water. A laaaarrge body of water so you don't run into the problems of swallow pools or rocks."

"Oh, hey! That sounds like a lot of fun. And I love swimming too, so it incorporates two of my favorite things: danger and water." Faelan grinned and waved her tial in excitement. "So, when can we do this? We don't have to wait till the sun rises, do we?" Faelan asked. This new activity sounded like a great way to relieve boredom and she really wanted to start learning.

"Heck no techno....You can do cliff diving any tim eyou want too. Though I personally think that it is much more fun at night. The water is at the warmest because it has been in the sun all day. And you don't run into many bears or large cats at night because they like to be sleeping or tending to their young." Isis grinned at the other vixen.
"Come on...I will show you my favorite cliff to go diving off of."
