Astra grinned mischievously, holding aloof the item that would allow her to carry out her plans. To anyone who could have looked at it, it didn't seem like anything participially interesting. Just a small bag of herbs. But to her, it would make for some excellent payback.
The fairy had done some research on the herb known as catnip, and had found that, according to her textbook, it made some creatures hyper active. She had also used the interwebs and found that in some instances, it worked on cats as well.
Well, Riyo was a CAT demon, after all...
An idea had spawn in the fairy's mind. She was still rather sore about the remarks made by the ghoul, and wanted to show her that she was a knob that shouldn't be messed with!
Now, she may have wanted to play a prank on Riyo, but she didn't want to get her hurt or poisoned, so she would make sure only to use a very small portion of the herb.
As to how she got it? Well, she had a few contacts at home that would only to willing to help another fairy create mischief. as long as she told the all the details later. Living in a forest did have it's benefits after all.
Now the only other thing she had to do, was find said cat demon...

While Astra plotted the demise of Riyo's pride, the ghoul was busy having lunch in the cafeteria. Ah, the usual bland food with a side of hot, bland tea. She was really living the dream here.
As per usual, the ghoul sat alone at a small table. She didn't look miserable because of the fact, but grateful for the peaceful interlude. Having a break from the other students was a joy not just sometimes, but all the time.
Silently, she sat the tea bag down in her cup and stared at the sushi on her plate. Did she really want to eat it? No. Was there a better alternative? ... No. Maybe she should start packing a lunch. The food she made wasn't much better than this... But it was cheaper, at the very least.

It was surprisingly easy to find Riyo, the cafeteria being the first place Astra checked. But now that had found her, she had to figure out just how she was going to get Riyo to take it. In order for the herb to take affect, Riyo had to inhale it. Plus, they were in a public place, so getting her to take it here might be..a very bad idea. Or it could be even better, she wasn't quite sure. It all depended on how much she wanted to draw this out.
At least she was sitting alone, that was a plus. Now if she could just get a little closer...
Going around the edge of the cafeteria so that she was behind the cat ghoul, she hid behind one of the tables on the far side then darted to the next one, using the table seats to conceal her identity.

The feline was, of course, none the wiser to Astra's 'sneaky' approach. In fact, she seemed more concerned with finding a way to get the food down her throat without vomiting. Today was not the best day for sushi, but she had spent the money on it, and jack-dammit she was going to make the most of this meal.
Maybe if she added some salt, hm. Glancing around, she noticed there was, in fact, no salt on her table... But there was on one of the other round tables closer to her (incidentally in the opposite direction of the hidden fairy). With small grace, Riyo picked herself up and moved over to the table to retrieve the white bottle.

Astra couldn't believe her luck. Her feline target was getting up from her seat to fetch something, and had left her food completely unguarded!
Alright, now it was time for speed. As quick as she could, she ran from her hiding place and towards the table with Riyo's lunch on it silently wishing that she could have flown instead.
Reaching the table, akk the while keeping a eye out for Riyo and anyone else, she scrambled onto the seat and took out the small bag form her pocket, screwing up her nose as she sprinkled a (small portion) of the herb onto the sushi.
Now the next park: Move her little fairy butt outta there!
In her haste to get away, she tripped and fell off the seat, her face having a quick meeting with the ground. A flash of panic swept over at her, and she was back on her feet and running to her hiding place for dear life, practicably jumping over the seat of the table on the opposite side of riyo.
Oh jack, she wasn't seen was she?

Just as she had managed to grab the salt, a small 'thud' caught the attention of her ears. What had that been?
Cautiously, the ghoul turned her head to see where it had come from... Only to see none other than the wussy fairy who wouldn't tell her how she really felt. Though, because of the moment Riyo had managed to look back, the feline didn't get a chance to see where Astra fell from, only that she scrambled to her feet and darted off... Probably because she was scared of the bigger ghoul. Psch. That would figure.
With a small shrug, the ghoul moved back to her table and had a seat. Holding up the white container, she was about to sprinkle some on when she noticed something.
The food smelled different. In fact... It somehow smelled more enticing. Woah. And she hadn't even poured on the salt yet!
Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all. Carefully she sprinkled a little bit of salt on her sushi before finally taking the first bite... Alarmed by the results.
It was... Delicious. Her eyes widened as she paused and looked down at her food before taking another bite. It wasn't an illusion. The food was actually good! Hot damn!

From her hiding spot, it appeared that she was seen, but the cat ghoul didn't seem to worried by her presence choosing to pay more attention to her food instead.
Assured that she wasn't about to get into trouble, Astra leaned in to watch Riyo as she began to eat her food. And so far..thats all she was doing. Nothing else seemed to be happening. Although she wasn't sure what to expect, she had assumed that at least something would happen. So far, it just seemed like she was really enjoying her food when before she hardly even touched it.
Maybe it was a result of the catnip? She couldn't be sure, but for now she would keep watch and see if anything else would happen, encase the herb took a little time to start working.

Oh, but something was happening. Riyo's pupils began to dilate until there was nothing left of her irises but a red outline. Very quietly she sat down her utensils and looked around. "... Oh Jack... Maybe the food already went bad..." She mumbled to herself, reaching up to touch her face. Her face felt so nice.
"What... The ********?" So weird. Everything looked and felt so weird. Either this was food poisoning or the ghoul had finally gone mental.

Huh? apparently something was happening now, but from her angle Astra couldn't see what. Being as cautious as she could, she crept from her hiding place and dashed to the other end of the table Riyo was sitting at. Now she had a better view of the Cat ghoul!
...who was looking pretty zoned out and touching her own face.
that...was weird
"R-riyo?" The fairy said, head popping up on the other side of the table. "...you okay?"

Riyo didn't even seem to care about the fact that the obnoxious fairy had returned. She was much too fascinated with touching things. "Okay?" She asked, pausing at the sound of her own voice. "I'm fantastic. I mean, these surfaces... They feel amazing." She mumbled, the scene quite hilarious with her bug eyes.
Slowly, one of her hands reached down to touch the surface of the table, while the other continued to touch her face. "They're so different. Why didn't I notice before? It's downright profound.."

Well...at least she was feeling good?
Astra stared at Riyo watching her caress the table, as well as her face. Those eyes too, she....was totally out of it. The fairy's concerns began to melt away as beamed at her handiwork, the prankster inside her rejoicing with glee as she continued to watch the cat demon's comment about how nice it was to touch stuff
speaking of touching...
Her gaze fell onto the two black cat ears which sat on top of riyos' head, and she pondered..If she was truly out of it...then she wouldn't mind it, would she?
Crawling on top of the table, she sat down and began to edge closer to the ghoul. "Er, yeah..the table does feel pretty nice" She said.

"My Jack, Astra." The ghoul started as she watched the fairy have a seat next to her. "Your hair. It's so vivid. I can almost taste blueberries." Out of it didn't even begin to cover what Riyo was. Reaching the hand that had been on the table out to touch Astra, she aimed for the ghoul's cheek. "I want... To touch you." That totally didn't sound wrong.

"W-wait, blueberries?!"
The only other time someone had told her she tasted like blueberries, was when she had been repetitively swallowed up by skitter sharks. It was not a reassuring thing, and she was left to think that Riyo may have been so out of it, that she might consider the fairy a very nice food source.
"Umm..well it just looks..like blueberries, it doesn't taste that nice, really!" She backpedaled before she found the others hand on her cheek. "Ekk! W-what are you doing?!" She said, a hint of fear in her voice.

"But it LOOKS like it would. I can smell the blueberries too. They're freshly plucked, sitting out on an oak wood table that's just been polished. Can you not smell them, Astra?" Her wide eyes leaned in closer as she pinched the fairy's cheeks. "Your cheeks are softer than mine. Like a child's, I'd imagine."
Finally releasing Astra's cheeks, the ghoul started to look around again. "I can taste colors.. And see sound! I... Have finally ascended to the seat of all-knowing deity... But am I benevolent or malevolent?" It seemed that all she had to say now was utter nonsense.

"Uhh...n-no?" Astra was starting to think that the catnip was a pretty potent herb. Either that or it was the shampoo she was using, but she was pretty sure the shampoo wasn't blueberry scented...
And now her cheeks were being pinched, which left her feeling like she WAS a child, with all the older people pinching them and telling her how cute she was. Except that now she was being pinched by Riyo instead.
As the cat ghoul declared how godlike she was, she reached up with her hand and gently placed it on one of riyo's cat-like ears. "Umm..Benevolent?"
