Reiatsu Appearance: At first, the reiatsu gives off a weak, tingling sensation that could be perceived as a lower level official. Shortly after, a heavy burst of energy rushes throughout the area.
Personality: A frown is usually ever-present on Madarao's face. This is due to being disappointed so much in his past. His smiles are rare and his smirks are normally used in moments of playful sarcasm. Generally a friendly man, sometimes people that don't know him well assume he is unapproachable. There are times when he prefers to watch others enjoys themselves, than actively participate in the fun. Also, he is a man that likes a comfortable atmosphere and happy squad members, occasionally taking on their paperwork, in addition to his own. He has a rather foul mouth for a nice guy.

Physical Appearance: Madarao is slim with slight muscles. On one forearm, he has the phrase "To accept the strength of the sword, you must accept the flaws as well" in kanji, The second are is marked by the numbers 1 and 0 for sentimental purposes.
Past Divisions: Division 2, 6th Seat
History: Madarao was born in the lower Rukongai district. It was dangerous, but he was lucky not to have any real issues. Growing up, he had his share of scuffles, which usually occurred when his friends were picked on or someone tried to take advantage of new souls. These events would end in the same way, with Madarao being severely beaten. This never broke his will. As the years went on, one-by-one the people he called his friends started to change for the worst. The case that hurt the most was a girl named Reiko.
The two had been together since they were small children. It was Reiko who nursed Madarao's bruises after each fight. They were a really close-knit pair and their bond only seemed to grow. As time went on, she began to disappear for hours at a time. At first, it didn't faze Madarao, but then he noticed that she was hiding objects neither of them could afford. Finally, he decided to confront Reiko about the items. So the next day, when the girl left, he followed her quietly. The trip ended at a secluded spot in the city. Waiting at the area were a couple of men, both shady and grotesque. Madarao couldn't believe his eyes. His friend was in leagues with hollows. Moving forward, he called out to the creatures and challenged them. It would appear that he had gotten better at fighting, but this wasn’t adequate enough for the occasion. The hollows ended up beating the young man savagely, while Reiko merely watched. Suddenly, the dark beings were hacked down the middle and blood spurted everywhere. A shinigami happened to be passing and noticed the malicious spiritual pressure they were exerting, so he decided to check it out. The soul reaper also took notice of Madarao's reiatsu and thought maybe he should join the academy. Having nothing to lose, Madarao chose to try things out. So Reiko was arrested and tried for her dealing with the hollows and Madarao was accepted into the Soul Reaper Academy.
Madarao flew through some of the lessons at the academy. He excelled at the use of bakudo, zanjutsu and the occasional hado, but there was still much he had to learn. Healing wasn’t his strong suit and it showed when he made an attempt at healing an injury squirrel, but accidently vaporized the poor animal. After graduating in the top percentile of the class, he was placed in the 2nd division of the Seireitei and wound up as the 6th seat. There was a botched mission where the squad was supposed to assassinate a high level hollow that was set loose in the Human World. Once the team arrived, the squad saw no sign of the hollow fear invaded the lower ranks. The higher officers just figured someone made a mistake with their assignment, but sadly, this was not the case. Squad 2 was ambushed by a group of regular hollows and an adjucha. Many of the members panicked at the sight of the colossal abominations and tried to flee, as a result. These people were the first to suffer at the hands of the hollows, but thanks to the captain and Madarao's work, they protected the remaining squad members. Madarao came up with a strategy by sowing confusion within the enemy’s camp, then gave his surviving teammates, excluding the captain and lieutenant an opening to take out the lower level hollows. This gave the head and second in command of Squad 2 to remove the bulk of their threat, the adjucha. A tremendous fight ensued between the lone monster and the two shinigami. It would appear that they were somewhat evenly matched, but this was a ruse on the adjucha’s part. The fiend quickly took the time to remove the vice captain from the fight, by setting up a mirage of a lost loved on. Once the man was captivated by the image, that was when the creature struck, swinging its massive arm and sent him crashing to the ground. The sixth seat, among the others from the corps, saved the vice captain from plummeting to his death. The man was still badly wounded and none of the others were too eager about storming off to their death. So Madarao took on the responsibility to take over the lieutenant’s fighting position. The young shinigami took off without a word to the others and rushed to the aid of their leader. It couldn’t have been a better time because the battle wasn’t going in the shinigami’s favor. Madarao released his shikai and flew in at the beast, hoping to draw the adjucha’s attention and try to engage it. The sixth seat slashed at the adjucha’s arm, but the monster flew backward to avoid the attack. Then a power-packed punch slammed into the blade of Madarao’s weapon, sending him sliding back. The fight went on like this for a while before he was hit in a similar fashion as the vice captain. When he flew through a building, he was knocked unconscious. Soon he found himself in his Inner Spirit World and noticed Uroko-jō no senshi perched on one of the statues. The reptilian spirit jumped down and gave him a lecture about his lack in fighting valor. When Madarao didn’t respond in the way that he’d hope, Uroko-jō no senshi attacked without warning. The young shinigami was put on the defensive immediately, but he could partly understand what the grouchy lizard was suggesting. Using the words that were spewed at him, Madarao attacked more aggressively and began to gain the upper hand. Uroko-jō no senshi ended the fight, not exactly pleased with the display, but satisfied to a degree. Madarao began to feel himself fade from the Inner Spirit World and return to the Human World. Looking down, he saw that his appearance, as well as his zanpakuto, had changed and smiled. Things were going to be better, at least for the squad. Flying toward the adjucha, the sixth seat brandished his weapon and re-engaged the hollow. The battle began where it left off, but this time, he used the new lesson that was taught to him back in the depth of his mind. It didn’t take long to return the favor to the adjucha and more. Not only did he pull off what his captain and lieutenant couldn’t do together, but he saved the entire surviving members of Squad 2 by himself. It was this moment of action that got him promoted to Captain of Squad 10.

~Zanpakuto Information ~
Zanpakuto Name: Uroko-jō no senshi (Scaly Warrior)
Zanpakuto Type: Katana
Zanpakuto Sealed Appearance: 
Spirit Appearance: He is a humanoid Komodo Dragon with cobalt blue and grey scales. There is a scar over his left eye. Strangely, he wears a captain's haori with the sleeves ripped off, two large chains crossing his chest diagonally from his shoulders and two scimitars. His claws are bronze in color.
Spirit Personality: He is quiet, giving his opinion on things when he feels like doing so. There is a serious thirst for battle that flows through his veins. He is critical, observant and occasionally ill-tempered.
Spirit Relationship: Madarao and he are on so-so terms. There is a slight animosity toward Madarao though because he believes that the shinigami is lacking when it comes to having a fighter's spirit. Other than that, he is a little fond of the young man.
Spirit Inner World: A tropical island covered with spike-filled snake pits and giant reptilian guardian statues populate the the throes of his mind.
Shikai Appearance:  The cross-guard of the zanpakuto transforms into a ring of milky white fangs that connect from point-to-end.
Shikai Release Command: Infect the vulnerable and cure nothing, Uroko-jō no senshi .
Shikai Release Appearance: A tuxedo, similar to the one in the profile picture, is worn under his haori. Two heavy duty chains matching the ones on Uroko-jō no senshi spirit, crosses his chest.
Shikai Ability: Every time the opponent receives a cut from the blade and their blood interacts with the zanpakuto’s blade, a small patch of scales appear on the blade. The bloodscales take on different colors and effects depending on the species. • Hollows- The blood from the hollow species causes the scales to take on an acidic nature because of their malevolent presence. While the Bloodscale ability is in effect, it burns through fabrics, the occasional stone, eats through flesh, but has no effect the blade of any zanpakuto. The scales turn black.
• Shinigami- The blood of a shinigami turns the scales translucent mainly because of the off-chance that no many humans can see shinigami, unless they are in tune with them. So the strike has similar feature such as, unable to harm a human, but there is an increase in damage to shinigami hit by this effect.
• Humans/Quincy- Human and Quincy's blood turn the scales a multitude of colors because they are truly unpredictable creatures capable of just about anything. The effect of this ability is a little more tame, reflecting sunlight.
Shikai Attacks: Scale Shredder- Shards of razor-sharp scales are flung at the enemy. The longer the distance, the more destructive power is gained.
Savage Sweep- A wave of reiatsu, matching the pattern of the zanpakuto’s blade, is sent through the air to cut the foe.
Bankai Appearance:  The ring of fangs is now bronze and no longer connects as they did in Shikai. Instead of having just one row of fangs, there are now three rows. The first row is the smallest and each row grows bigger than the last. Also, the tips of the fangs are pointing in the same direction as the blade. The blade itself has turned an ivory color.
Bankai Release Appearance: Madarao sports a light scaly chainmail vest that stops at his waist. The vest is worn over his tux, but under the haori. The bracelet that he wears is now populated with bronze spikes resembling his spiritual partner. Also, he has a moderate-sized tail made entirely from his reiatsu.
Bankai Ability: Whatever living creature is cut by the blade, which is now oozing a harsh liquid similar to the saliva of a Komodo Dragon, becomes infected, but to a lesser degree. Instead of killing the victim, it impairs their mobility. This only applies to the area that has been wounded.
Bankai Attacks: Dragon Ripper- A reiatsu based form of Uroko-jō no senshi is made and unleashes havoc on his opponents. It will swing its massive scimitars with crushing force to wipe them out.
Fanged Bombarder- The bronze fangs on Madarao’s zanpakuto are fired in bunches to pierce their flesh. They explode on impact as an added effect.
