The first bruteball game was about to begin, and the stands were beginning to fill up.
The sound of heavy feet moving up and down the metal bleachers that surrounded the bruteball field was practically deafening as people began to take their seats, decked out in Amityville's colors to support their team. And if that wasn't enough, on top of that the chatter of people as they waited for the game was even louder, excitement rising with each passing minute. No one knew how the team would do -- any whom had snuck a peak at their practice could tell you that it was, at this point, entirely up to chance, their team both moderately experienced and completely unprepared. Only time would tell what would happen... but for now, the players merely meandered around the field, some of them leaning over the chainlink fence to chat up some of the spectators before the game.
OOC: Notes!
This is the rp where people can rp watching the bruteball game! Whenever a round is complete, a short SHOUT post summary of what happened (Ohhhh, Altair just got tackled! That's gotta hurt!) will be posted, to keep everyone on the same timeline. Otherwise, feel free to cheer for the boys, or just chat it up with your friends and get some snacks at the concession stand <3 If players feel like it, they can come chat either before the game (aka before 10am EST) or during halftime (estimated 12pm EST Saturday to 6pm EST Sunday) to have some fun.
If anyone would like to apply to be the announcer (much like the DJ's job at Prom,) please contact Lei or Nata, either by pm or aim (nata = tahlonwolf)

It was expected that Shehk would be there. Not because of her not-so-subtle infatuation with the Quarterback, but probably because she was a FEARleader and thus, she felt it necessary to be making a public appearance at the sports meet. Y'know, that being her job and all. However, She hadn't actually done much 'meeting' of this new team. Certainly she knew who she'd be punching in the face if needed, but more or less, she didn't know many of the people.
At least not personally. She'd certainly be able to say 'hi' to at least everybody.
Maybe.
Never the less, Shehk was there, not even in the stands, but out in front of them, looking out over the field. She took a deep breath, her tail perking up alertly. She was attentive. She really was getting a feel for the mood.
Excitement. There was a lot of it.
Exhale, inhale, exhale, inhale...
"WHO'S READY TO WATCH OUR BOILS AND GHOULS KICK SOME a**?" she called out in a loud voice, cupping her hands around her mouth to amplify the noise. If yelling was needed, she was definitely going to start making all the noise.
