Your hands shake as you unwrap the latest new game. The state of the art head set is in your hand and you place it on. It covers your eyes and you go to bed. As soon as you fall asleep, you see a flash of light and you float in an area. Suddenly a massive amount of information is downloaded into your mind.
A voice in the darkness tells you to choose a race while a list of races and their info is suddenly known to you.
As soon as you choose another flash of light hits you and you wake up in the town of Naid Avla.

Brook floated in the empty darkness. He was yet born to the world and it felt so weird.He looked at a reflection of himself in teh darkness and he looked as he did in the real world. Dark brown hair and dark black eyes. He had a slender body and was not very muscular at all.He felt a bit disgusted but suddenly massive amounts of information was downloaded into his mind.
"Choose your race" He heard a voice say. A list of races became know to him. The beast race with random stats depending on what type of animal the beast is based on. The celestials and angels with high speed and magic.The demons with high attack and speed, humans with the most balanced stats and the elvs with high mostly average stats, low health but high agility then there were mana creatures with the highest amount of intelligence stat. There were some other races but Brook already knew which he wanted. Suddenly another flash happened and he caught a glimpse of himself before suddenly falling into the darkness.
His eyes slowly adjusted to a new light and he looked before him seeing a fountain in which he looked at his reflection. His basic appearance looked like what he looked like in real life. He frowned, seeing his slender body still the same but his eyes became a blueish green and his hair completely black. His skin was still pale but flawless and his ears pointy with two piercings on each." Well.. it's better than what I really am.."

Allyen was surprised at the sudden, deep darkness; it was a complete lack of space, of existence. A reflection of herself appeared before her, and she frowned. 'I hope that's not what I look like in the game...' A voice spoke out to her, soft but powerful, as though overwhelmingly holy and omniscient. A selection of races faded into view before her, and she looked over each one carefully. She always liked to shake things up with games... But this one was the first virtual reality game, and she'd always wanted to fly. "Celestial..." she murmured, considering this option. She doubted she'd get wings right away, but maybe she could train towards earning them... With a smile, she selected celestial, and immediately, things began to fade. There was a pause, as though the game had frozen. "s**t... don't tell me it has bugs already..." A face, pallid and translucently fair faded into view, glowing slowly in the dark. Her dark, black hair framed her face, barely distinguishable from the darkness. The rest of her body was fuzzy and difficult to make out, but her eyes were closed and her hands clasped in deep thought. "Ally..... elp.... come to.... Allyen....!" the voice rang out again, this time sharper, in greater distress. She winced, in pain from the loud, deafening volume it had reached, ringing out in the darkness over and over. With a sudden blip the screen flashed white, and she found herself sprawled on the ground. ".. Ahh... ow..." she held her head in mild pain, the headache settling in. "... I wonder where this is..." She glanced at the fountain beside her and smiled at her reflection. She appeared to be wearing a simple, two tone robe of black and white, with small holes sewed into the back. Tiny, frail wings fluttered against her back, and she laughed; they certainly had a sense of humor. They were white wings, that of a usual celestial character, but the very tips seemed to have a tinge of light grey--though she didn't notice at the time. Her face was sharper than it had been before, and the tips of her ears were pointed, though not long and specialized for acute hearing like an elf's. Her slim figure had remained the same, but now she had long, flowing black hair that trailed down her back to her waist, and her eyes were a delicate crimson. She smiled, happy with her character.

Brooklyn closed his eyes and looked over his inventory. A few starting potions for mp and hp, even some for stamina riddled it. He had a small very curved and deadly looking dagger and he grimaced." That... does not look like a beginner weapon....." he thought to himself before equipping it and opening his eyes as the dagger appeared in his hand," Huh.....Wyvern's Tooth is what it's called..."He looked at it from every angle and smiled. "This will do.."He said to himself." Now to make friends and start up a party for some basic training." He smiled and looked at a new girl who materialized sprawled on the floor. Her black hair fell every where and covered her face but as she got up and went to look in the water, he caught a good look at her. She was really pretty and he wondered if she looked like that in real life but quickly shook it out of his head as he saw she had tiny wings and would make a great asset with the high stats celestials usually have." Hey!."he called out to her.

Allyen was oblivious to the boy calling out to her as she began to inspect her inventory. There wasn't much of anything special... She found a basic wand and equipped it. All of a sudden, her magic stats exploded, a sudden burst of mp appearing. Stumbling back slightly, she figured it was a glitch, and didn't want to get banned for exploiting it... So she quickly unequipped it and went with the little sword instead. She herself could lift it and swing it with ease, finding it light and useful. She began to wonder what this game would be like... How bloody it would be, how realistic. Sneaking up behind a rat that was on the other side of the fountain, she made a quickly stab at it, killing it with one hit. There was a spurt of blood, but it stayed in tact, not spilling any organs or being too gruesome. As she expected... But perhaps it would be different on stronger, more detail oriented enemies. She shrugged and smiled to herself, twirling her new sword in her hand happily.

Brooklyn tilted his head. This girl recieved to much enjoyment from killing a rat. He stepped in front of her with one hand at his side and shifting his weight." Hey.... Since we're both new, would you like to be friends and party and stuff...?"He was a bit embarrassed and fidgeted.He wasnt really good at making friends.

Allyen looked up at him with a smile, about to respond--when she found she couldn't. Her character had no voice. Frowning, the made a face, as though trying to make sounds come out, but nothing did. Holding up a finger, she quickly grabbed a large leaf, a weed to be used as a brush, and some water from the fountain. Mixing the water with dirt, she made some mud to use as ink, and quickly scribbled out a message. It read:
"Normally can talk, character can't talk, not sure why. I'd love to be your friend (:" She stood and smiled, holding out her hand to shake his.

Brooklyn sighed and used the whisper command. His voice was sent directly to her mind. " Try whispering...? Is your character glitched...?"His green eyes focused on her scarlet eyes before he looked down. The floor looked like it was cracking.

Allyen tried to whisper, but it kept glitching back as though she hadn't said anything at all. She shook her head and wrote on a new leaf. "Won't work. Must be a glitch." Her eyes followed his gaze to the cracking ground, and she wondered if this was normal. Nervous, she shifted over to his side and clung to his arm, her tiny wings folding up against her back as she braced herself for something.

Brooklyn looked at her and raised his eyebrow. Her cute little wings folded up and he smiled warmly. Suddenly the floor beneath them broke and they both plummeted in a dark void." Ahhh... What!?"He grabbed her close as they fell. He held her and braced for impact when suddenly he felt as if he was underwater.He still held on to Allyen and swam up bringing her up to. They walked up into the shallow part and he still held her hand as they got onto dry land." Uh...what was that...?! That wasn't supposed to happen...."He looked around and gasped." This isn't the beginner town...... we're in a lake... next to the beginner forest... we should have been teleported to town first.

Coughing , she walked into the shallow water, ringing out her robe and wiping the water from her brow. Her wings fluttered in panic, trying to dry themselves off. She turned to him with a crooked, sheepish smile; she had no idea what had happened, but she was glad he knew what was going on.

Brooklyn looked at her and shrugged." Okay... stay close to me... we might fight monsters and get separated.." He held her hand as they walked into the forest. He looked around for movements and held his dagger close. He turned back and thought of something. He held out his hand and it began to glow, " Join the party.... that way you'll know where I am.... if we do get separated."

She reached out cautiously, gently touching his hand out of curiosity. There was a small blip, as two windows appeared floating in the air to her right. One was a map of their location, and the other was a window related to the party. She took a step to the left, and the windows moved with her. Grinning, she began to twirl and prance, highly entertained by this newly discovered plaything; she'd never played a virtual reality game before, so everything was new and mysterious to her. Loosing her balance, she tripped and fell back. Laughing, her hair was a mess and all askew, her robe still soaking wet, but she was having so much fun... Until she heard a noise. Something like a grunt, maybe? Or was it a soft growl? While she spent time deliberating over this, the large bear she had just bumped into rose onto its hind legs, preparing to attack. Looking up, the colour drained from her face. She mouthed one word. 'Oops.'

Brooklyn's eyes widened and as he saw the bear rise up.His legs reacted and he ran tackling Allyen out of the way before the bear slammed its massive paws where she was. He quickly pulled out his dagger and ran up to the bear slicing its arm. It yelped in pain and swiped but Brook had just enough agility to easily dodge. " Allyen! Stay back... if I can't kill it ....run~!!"

Allyen folded her arms defiantly, shaking her head. She didn't know much about the game, but she did know this bear was waaay too strong, even for the both of him. Suddenly snatching his sleeve, she started to run, making their escape. The bear followed quickly behind, before gradually losing interest and going back to his spot. Panting, she sat down with a smile, shaking her head ever so slightly. She grabbed a stick and wrote something in the dirt. "Need paper & pen maybe? Will town have them?"
