Due to recent attack failures and many unresolved issues in Wolframite's life, he decided to vent some aggressions in a rather productive way. While he noticed that Ammolite was cared for and protected, he had to wonder about her experience and loyalty. She had been a great backup during the youma energy harvesting, but he had yet to really see her in action. While she was a sweet girl and a Eternal senshi processing great power, energy signatures alone were not enough to convince him of a person's ability and loyalty. If they were to fight with these senshi, he had to know how useful they really were and if they were on their side. Sometimes even Tanzanite's word was not enough, and he didn't live wavering doubt if the time came to really place all his trust on the girl during a battle.
He invited Ammolite to the Rift, acting as her escort through the howling hallway, before heading to the arena. They were here to train, and Wolframite was curious as, being a general, how well he held up against a senshi of equal status. Would this mean he could kill Castor or match his power level, or was it silly to compare a recent senshi to their ranks to a senshi who had been here for such a long time on the senshi side and possessing all the experience of that period? Probably so, but it was curiosity that bite him.
They arrived at the arena. "How much battle experience do you have?" He asked her, stepping down the stone bleachers to the arena below.

"Hiro has been teaching me a little..." She started off as the question, curious as to why all of a sudden the, now general, went out of his way to personally ask her to spar with him. Before this point they had had a few fun times, that included dolls and even some booze.... but now something seemed different.
Much different.
The man was watching him with the eye of a predator, one that was sizing up another beast as either prey or another potential predator. The feeling of those eyes seeped into her, and made her shiver even more so than when they walked between the rift. The rift of souls whom would like nothing more than to add her to their ranks...
"I have been told i was a super senshi for a while, before being ah...enlightened. I do not know anything about past experience. Just that." In that moment she took a few steps forward down the stone pathway, her own bat wings swaying as she moved. Pausing a few steps in front of him, Lyra kept her gaze away from the other man. "Not any real experience beyond the times with Hiro, to answer." It seemed that a lot of the negaversers either took pity on her, or were gentle to her.
This was probably making her lack, making her -- "Weak. I feel weak, Wolfram." She allowed him to pass by her as they descended down, finally reaching the bottom of the Arena.

"I don't know who Hiro is, but if the officer is training you a little, then you already know you need more training." He didn't know what the official rule book was on training senshi as opposed to training officers, but he was going to learn alongside the senshi and see if there were any differences. It was a learning experience for both of the, but he wondered who would be leaving with a lot more information. Sabine was a sweet girl, but he wondered if some of the sweet nature came from knowing very little or her apparent lack of experience. For all he knew, she could have an iron upbeat outlook on life that could withstand any hardship. He'd have to see.
When she flat out stated she felt weak, he walked past her and stopped when he reached the bottom of the arena. "Well then, at least you aren't cocky enough to think you can't improve and that you are invincible against any enemy based on your rank." He turned to her, stepping back slowly to give her space. "And if you know, then you can only get better. How about we just spar without magic or weapons for a moment and just move on from there."
He continued to step back until there was a good running distance between them and then gestured for her to approach. "Oh, and don't go soft on me. I want you to see me as your enemy. If you see a chance to punch my lights out, punch me. I won't be holding back for you."
