This will be the contest/game planning thread. I want to have lot's of contests and games for this room. THE CONTEST LISTArt Contest (This is always the case!) King and Queen Avatar Contest (Another must) Poetry Writing Contest Short Story Writing Contest Bump Contest TekTek Contest Photography Contest THE GAME LISTDice Roll Random Number Word Game Misty L Lake Roll a dice: Juliet's robot assistant somehow got switched from "help" to "destroy" (why did we even install that switch?) to help restore her to her original state, get X amount of people to for X amount of X sided dice and roll an X. Random number: the cows that produce the methane that runs the space ship are on strike! In order to keep the ship running, roll random number, etc. Keep-them-away: It's hard for Romeo and Juliet to be irrational teenagers with their parents watching over them. Try to distract them! that can be the word game~

I concur. Contests are one of the best parts of the ball.
I like writing contests a lot. I think there should be one of those as well.

Hester Peche I concur. Contests are one of the best parts of the ball. I like writing contests a lot. I think there should be one of those as well. They're so much fun! I'll definitely add a writing contest. I'll put poetry and short stories separate too, since they're both popular. I think posting games are fun too.

Breaking up the art contest into numerous categories probably won't work. I ran the art contest in the Lust room, and I didn't a lot of entries. Fact of the matter is, we aren't offering much in the art contest compared to others, so pooling the different types all together is our best option. We could, however, consider small 'honourable mentions' for our favourites in different categories.

Thanks, I was thinking it could be like photo manipulation since sites like Picnik and Photobucket let you do it without all the fancy-pants programs it can be kind of like "Show us your dream world" or some such jazz.

Misty L Lake I love contests! I think that's what made the Sloth/Zeal room so much fun this year ^^ Everyone has contests (Lust had them too!) Some more than others! I want a bunch this year. But we will have to limit it some depending on our budget.

So, as I was waiting for sleep to come I came up with more specific contests, now that we have an idea what we're doing plot-wise.
Roll a dice: Juliet's robot assistant somehow got switched from "help" to "destroy" (why did we even install that switch?) to help restore her to her original state, get X amount of people to for X amount of X sided dice and roll an X.

We could also do a space/sci-fi themed riddle/trivia contest, I'm sure we all know something or other about space, and I know a good bit of sci-fi facts that can be dished out.
