The masked hero stood out... Always. With his mask, blue hair, and strange (and tight) outfit made it hard for people NOT to notice him. Surely, it might have been harder having to go from person to super hero... But with all the looks he was receiving by people passing by, it might have been the better idea. Surely he was getting allot of work done. He had already gotten a purrloin down from a tree for their young owner and.... Well, that was about it. At least he was getting pretty popular here in this city. Camphoreon City, it was kind of nice, and he heard that there was quite a few people that have spotted rockets around here. He was to investigate this, find any traces of rocket, and destroy it where he could. It was getting kind of lonely being stared at by himself though, so after a while of walking around and finding... Absolutely nothing, he release Aggron, getting him out of the pokeball for a little while. " Hey buddy, just going to take a break. Are you hungry?". The aggron took a moment to take in it's surroundings, then gave a lazy smile and nodded, plopping down right he had been released. Shunketsu took off his hat, rubbing his head as he stared up at the Aggron. "I don't have any on me.... You'll have to get it WITH me." The Aggron simply yawned, watching as his master got more frustrated "You're so lazy!" Shunketsu sighed, looking around to see where the nearest pokemart was. Well, he was in a small "park" like place where other trainers were gathered with there own pokemon... So, there didn't seem like there was any food around, not for a while. He sighed, putting his hands on his hips as he looked back up to Spike, "What am I going to do with you?".

Perched atop a nearby building with his skinny legs kicking to-and-fro over the edge, an observant information broker watched the scene take place with amusement. He had been more and more wary of taking trips out to Camphoreon on his days off now that Shizuo knew he was lurking about. Today, however, Izaya had had a good feeling. Something was astir in the port city, and the Rocket grunt intended to find out exactly what.
It didn't take long at all. The source wasn't exactly inconspicuous. From his standpoint on the rooftop, it was a little difficult to tell the sizes and ages of one person from another. As Nakura focused his attention on a costumed figure in particular, however, what he saw astounded him. What he had first taken for a child dressed up in some sci-fi spaceman suit was actually a full grown man. What was more, if the build of his body and the features of his face not hidden by his hat and mask were anything to go by, the man looked to be even older than Izaya! He couldn't ever imagine going out in public to call attention to himself with such an absurd outfit on. No wonder people were staring.
What was this man's motives? Was he trying to start up another team, like Team Plasma? He might have even questioned the guy's affiliation with Team Rocket's rival due to the spacey theme of his appearance, though the colors were all wrong. They were much darker than Plasma's. Furthermore, what Plasma member would be stranded out in the middle of a public area advertising his alliance to a criminal organization? It just didn't make sense.
Using his skills with parkour and his long-time knowledge of the city as one of its natives, Izaya tailed the man for a while from the hidden back allies, roofs, and various other short-cuts through Camphoreon. He watched the masked mystery figure help down a purrloin from a tree and thought this was a lead for sure - at least until he watched the purrloin be returned to its owner. This was getting more and more ridiculous by the minute as Grunt Nakura began to check off the cliche, tell-tale signs of a wanna-be neighborhood hero.
At long last, the grunt decided to discover the intentions of the mysterious costumed man directly. Hopping down from a window ledge, he skipped across a drainpipe and slid down a railing with his arms out for balance, landing on his feet at the edge of the sidewalk. Sticking his hands in his parka's pockets casually, he put on his most cheerful smile and approached his target with a spring in his step. The guy was alone, isolated in a park save for his pokemon. Now was the time to investigate.
"Taking a break?" Orihara called out as he walked toward the 'hero' and his aggron. "That would imply you had an activity to take a break from. Are you done playing dress-up for the day?" As he spoke, he watched the fellow take off his hat and rub his head, apperantly addressing his pokemon. Izaya chuckled as the trainer began to lose patience with the steel-armored reptile. "Have you ever thought of returning it to its pokeball?" he suggested musingly. "If it's not even motivated enough to go find food for itself, I don't know why you'd think it deserves any."

Mew didn't even realize someone was talking to him until his Aggron turned it's attention away from him, to the man slowly trailing up behind him. He turned around quickly, seeing a young, slender looking man in a shady outfit just a few feet away by now. Though it was obvious that most of the things Izaya said were insults, Mew was smiling. He actually seemed really excited that someone was TALKING to him, rather then avoiding him and making comments behind his back.
"Haha, I guess I look really silly don't I?" he chuckled with Izaya, as he leaned back against Spike, trying to look cool. Lucky for him, Spike was lazy enough to let his trainer use him to prop up against. " Ah! But that would be too harsh! If I treated him like that, he wouldn't be there for him when I really needed him." He paused, looking back at the Aggron, "Though I might need to, sense I can't just leave you here.".
Aggron just slowly began wagging it's tail, seeming to be content with life. Like nothing could possibly bother him right there and then.
Mew boy sighed, "See? Now I can't disturb him... He's too peaceful looking." He turned his attention back to the younger, cuter, male. He folded his arms back over his chest, " So what brings you here, young one? Need any help?" Yup, even to a complete stranger he would offer his services. That's what it meant to be a hero!

"Silly? I never said that," Izaya replied, holding his palms up defensively as he continued to smile. "If that's what you make of yourself, though, I'm surprised you've gone this long in public without changing out." Sneering as the guy leaned against his aggron, he wondered absently if the costumed hero might snag something on his steel-type's spikes accidentally if he wasn't careful. Or worse yet, himself. It didn't seem like a particularly wise thing to do in his opinion, but it was funny to see him take the stance just the same.
"Harsh? No, not at all~ He just needs to learn who's boss is all it is. If he's forced to work for his food, he'll learn that he can't just take you for granted. You're spoiling him like a parent indulging in their child's every whim." Crimson eyes turned to the aggron and he grinned crookedly. Even Celty could take down that metal scrap pile, he thought. Piece of cake. Not worth stealing.
"You can't disturb him?" Nakura giggled. "Is he your pokemon, or your prince?" ...Young one? Oh, that was rich. "Help? Ahhh, I see. Your service is to provide help to those in need. I suspected as much from that dashing costume of yours. I just had to confirm it for myself." He looked thoughtful a minute, tapping his forefinger against his cheek.
"Mmm, let me think...oh, right! There's this giant monster lurking around Camphoreon. He bullies its citizens and throws things at people at the smallest provocation. He really is a nuisance." Izaya glanced back at the man. "Maybe he's too much to ask you to deal with. You seem to specialize in things like getting Purrloin out of trees...sorry, what did you say your name was again...?"

This kid was pretty funny, talking about being a boss over the pokemon. It seemed so odd, but then again... it felt sad to him somehow. He felt like Izaya was completely missing the point of being a pokemon trainer but.... Everyone needed to perceive it the way they wanted too, it wasn't his place to say any other wise.
"It's okay, thank you for your concern though! He's always got my back when i need him the most." He paused, thinking about that child comment. He couldn't help but get a silly grin on his face, "I don't mind spoiling him, I don't have any kids and I don't plan to have any, so I guess this is a good substitute!".
Aggron stood suddenly pushing his master up a bit, getting excited about being seen as prince. Ah, then it could wear a crown or something right? Yeah, it's imagination with getting ahead of him.
The super hero didn't falter though, just got pushed forward a few and had to catch his balance. He looks back at his pokemon, looking confused himself... But ah well, he was convinced by now that Spike lived in a completely different realm that they lived in sometimes... That he just appeared to be in the same realm. The words of a villainous character caught his attention again though, Mew turning his attention back to the young man.
" Ah, I'm okay with someone like that. If Spike and I can't be of some assistance, then Tsuki should be able to do the job." He gave the other a thumbs up, " haha, I haven't told you my name but i can tell you now. My name is----" he paused, the comment purrloin finally sinking in... How did he find out about that...??
He turned towards Spike suddenly, "Hey! This guy already knows of our good deeds in the city! We must be getting popular!" he couldn't help himself, the news was so exciting that he just had to blurt that out to his partner. He might have been older, quite a bit older, but he still acted like a child, honestly. At least it seemed that way.
Being that Spike was still off in his imagination, Mew boy just turned to look back at Izaya, " Ah, yeah sorry about that. My name is Tawainai Shunketsu. Many just call me Skunketsu!"
Or Mew boy, his Aggron thought as he set his eyes back on his master on Izaya. This character was pretty dark, he could already tell, but he felt like confident in his master... He would step in if really necessary.

Izaya, who had decided long ago that he was a friend to no one, not even humans, was not about to acknowledge that making friends with a pokemon was part of training it. After all, he was part of Team Rocket, whose motto was to use pokemon for their benefit. They were tools; nothing more. If Izaya thought of humans - his favorite species - as tools, he certainly wasn't going to think any higher of the creatures known as pocket monsters.
"A good substitute if you want to raise spoiled-rotten kids, sure," the informant murmured under his breath. The man seemed to miss his point. Ah well; to each their own. He wasn't sure why, exactly, he was being thanked for concern that clearly wasn't genuine, but maybe this guy was just one of those sickeningly polite people like Xander. It made Orihara want to punch them in the face and see them react politely to that. Now was not the time, though.
"Well, look at that. He already seems to be used to pushing you around - both figuratively and literally." If his behavior around his pokemon was anything to judge by, this man was a total and utter pushover - a door mat to anyone who merely asked to walk all over him. How naive.
Oh, he was willing to take on Shizu-chan? That might have been fun to watch. Especially once he learned about the fact that the ex-bartender hated violence. As a 'superhero', even a little violence was necessary sometimes, neh...? Not that Shizuo would see it that way... Izaya grinned absently at the thought of the monster and hero meeting for the first time. Wait, what...? who was Tsuki? "I'm sorry, what were you saying? Tsuki?" he repeated. "Is that another...'costumed hero' friend of yours?"
Whoops. Just when he was about to get the man's name, Nakura realized his mistake in mentioning the purrloin. He hadn't been counting on the guy to catch it, though. He hesitated for a minute, wondering what he would do. As anyone might have expected a benevolent but foolish hero to do, however, the masked man took it far better than a normal person would have. Izaya felt almost as though he were in some child's bizarre comedy anime or manga. Was this for real?
"Ah, yes, gomen; I just happened to take an interest in your work earlier in the day. I noticed you pass me a couple of times in the city, since someone in a costume isn't that hard to spot once you've seen them already. The next time I saw you, I decided to come over to talk," he explained, pretending to have only seen the hero here and there, rather than have been following him around the whole time. Why was this man so gullible? Had he lived a sheltered life? Honestly, Izaya was surprised he hadn't been mugged or attacked by a street gang like Jerome's yet. If he wasn't careful and continued to stick around after dark, he very well still could be.
"Tawainai Shunketsu," the grunt repeated slowly, committing the name to memory. "Japanese. Interesting." And what an ironic meaning, too. He wondered if it was coincidence or if that was how the parents who had named him had also raised him to be. "A pleasure to meet you, Skunketsu-san," he added, holding out a hand. "I am Izaya Orihara. I must say, I don't think I've ever met someone as passionate about your work as you before. Especially not at your age."
Feeling another set of eyes suddenly on him, the Rocket glanced over to lock gazes with the Aggron. "Heh." He smirked at him and winked, wondering just how much more than his trainer the pokemon had figured out. "So...how long have you lived in this city, Skunketsu-san?" he asked, turning back to Tawainai.

Skunketsu boy sighed at the comment about being pushed around by his pokemon... It was true, he never had to scold Aggron though... But the way Spike acted while they were on the job... He didn't deserve anything but the best from him. Part of this feeling may be because he didn't care anything for himself anymore.
He listened to Izaya's explanation and chuckled, not sure why he felt the need to explain himself. It was cute though. He continued to listen, about his name, and the like. He blushed a bit at the mentioning of his age, he felt so oooooold most of the time. Ah, the city.... " Actually, this is my second day here. I recently moved here for investigations."
Oh, Tsuki? This person didn't know about Mewtwo? He gave a grin, " Tsuki is my... Partner, but he's not masked.". He took the pokeball from his belt, looking to Izaya. He was definitely going to be impressed by this right? "Go, Mewtwo!"
Tsuki was released from his pokeball, a few feet away from his master. The mewtwo seemed to be sleeping until he was released by the hero, slowly opening its eyes to look over at Izaya and Mew boy. He glared at Izaya, sensing that he was not one that he should be trusting. Uncurling and landing slowly down on the air, he walked to his master, in front of him and in between Izaya and him. He said nothing though, just watched him.
Mew boy seemed confused to why Tsuki was acting so protective over him, it was odd to him, but he just smiled, patting it's shoulder. " This is Tsuki, Tsuki this is Izaya Orihara. He's a fan." Skunketsu introduced them to each other. Tsuki did NOT seem amused though, not that he ever did, but he didn't say anything against Izaya either
Spike wagged it's tail slowly as he watched the three of them, not sure why the human had winked at him.

Seeing Skunketsu's blush, Izaya took mental note of this. At least he had some awareness of his physical age, even if he certainly didn't act it. As far as being new to the city...that explained a lot.
"Ahhh. No wonder you haven't been attacked yet," the young man laughed, reaching over to sling an arm about Tawainai's shoulders in a friendly manner. "Take my advice, hero. Find yourself a decent room and stay indoors for the night. There are too many shady characters, violent gangs, criminal organizations, and desperate thieves looking to take advantage of an ignorant newcomer to the city. It's not safe for civillians on the streets when the sun goes down around here, believe me." I used to do business with most of them, he added mentally.
Though Izaya had presented this bit of knowledge as cautionary advice, in actuality he wanted to know exactly what Skunketsu would do with it. If he was a smart, reasonable man, he would stay inside and obey Izaya. On the other hand, if he was the foolish hero his name and actions so far had suggested he was, there was the likely chance he would take the information as an oppertunity rather than a warning. In that case, the fate of the hero would be quite a source of entertainment indeed.
Just now, though, he seemed ready to present Tsuki. "Not masked? Is he under cover as a bystander, then?" The grunt glanced around as if he might see the man's partner, but suddenly realized that Skunketsu was not talking about a human at all. Before he knew what was happening, the masked hero released a pokemon from a ball at his belt. It seemed Spike wasn't the only companion who travelled with him.
Izaya stared, unsure of what he was really seeing. It looked, for all the world, like a Mewtwo, despite its intricate and strange coloring and markings. Perhaps this guy was smarter than he thought, concealing the legendary pokemon while he kept his more common aggron out. But then again, maybe it was just a preference of the pokemon themselves. After all, Skunketsu hadn't seemed to have any hesitation in the least to reveal just who - and what - Tsuki was.
How had such a man obtained such a pokemon? It didn't seem logical. Aside from being a legendary clone, the fact that it was colored strangely could only lead Izaya to one conclusion - the pokemon had been born of the Rocket labs. He didn't know under what circumstances - perhaps this delluded hero was one of those fabulously wealthy people that commissioned custom pokemon to be made - but it was definately not natural.
Realizing he might have given himself away by his expression of realization, Izaya quickly readopted his casual smile and hoped Skunketsu would have mistaken his shock and surprise for awe and admiration. "Sugoi~! A real, live Mewtwo! I didn't know such pokemon actually existed! How in the world did you come across it?" He walked around Tsuki slowly. "This has to be some sort of trick, right?"
Almost instantly, however, Nakura noticed he was being glared at by the almost-human pokemon. He wondered if the Mewtwo simply didn't like strangers or, through its psychic powers, perhaps, that he had somehow discovered the nature of the grunt's presence there. The answer became increasingly clearer as the psychic felinesque clone walked over to Skunketsu and stood before him in an unmistakably protective stance.
The info broker had never seen a pokemon act so human and was amazed by this. He grinned despite himself and decided it was probably best to remain still for the time being. Spike the Aggron didn't seem to mind the Mewtwo's presence at all or share his fellow pokemon's hostility.
"Hello, Tsuki-san," Izaya spoke up in a gentle, low voice, raising a palm slowly in greeting. He had no idea as to the extent of the thing's powers, so it was best to play it safe for the time being. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I take it you and Skunketsu-san are close...?"

Skunketsu was wondering right about the time Izaya told him to be stay inside if he knew what the word 'Hero' meant. In his dictionary, it'd be the cool guy that always risks his lives for the sake of peace, justice, and his fellow people. Of course that sounded more queer than wearing glitter, but that's what being a hero meant to him. He was happy doing what he did, and would be more than happy if he spent the rest of his days doing just that.
But for now he didn't respond, he just let the young man observe his pokemon. Izaya was even talking to Tsuki as if he were a person! it was wonderful! Maybe he had taught the man something! Though he seemed absolutely stunned when he first saw Mewtwo released, he seemed to be absolutely excited now. It didn't bother him, seeing that many people acted this way when they first saw Mewtwo. The Hero some how seemed to miss Izaya's questions though, or just chose to ignore them, seeing as... The history behind the Mewtwo, wasn't something he planned to share with ANYONE.
The cloned pokemon watched Izaya cautiously like it wasn't sure rather or not he would actually answer the man. But looking back at Skunketsu, it decided that answering this 'Izaya' would be the best idea. "Hello Izaya Orihara." he spoke, his voice was serious, " Yes, we are close. He's standing right behind me". Stupid Human, was a mental note it took. Though the reason he hadn't mentioned that he had actually raised Skunketsu was because he didn't want to reveal anything to private with this stranger. Plus, he didn't want to hurt his trainer in any way.
"Tsuki is such a smart a** sometimes." Mew boy took his hand off of the Mewtwo's shoulder, moving them down to his sides. " We're a team, we came here specifically because we heard this city was bad news. I don't know how much we can help, or how far we can get, but there's no turning back to where I came from. I'll either grow on this city to the point where it can never spit me back out, or I'll get tossed out with the trash. It's a gamble, but lucky for me I have nothing to loose." By the end of his speech, he had one had up in the air, towards Izaya; Giving him a thumbs up.
Mewtwo, who had finally stopped glaring at Izaya, was now looking worriedly back at mew boy. He was like a son to him... it was hard knowing that they were going straight into danger. Spike still seemed to have that goofy grin on it's face though. It didn't seem to be shaken up in the least about anything, maybe it was even as excited as the Hero was to go straight into the city's heart; Where the darkness lied.

The informant's lips parted slightly as the creature spoke. When he had greeted the pokemon, it was more out of playful teasing than anything else. He hadn't actually expected the thing to understand him, let alone answer him. It wasn't as though he hadn't experienced talking pokemon before, as he had previously met two other agents' Jirachis, but this was different.
Those Jirachis, Alphard and Luciole, hadn't seemed like much more than children mentally - they spoke only a few words at a time and in incomplete sentences. Furthermore, they didn't even seem capable of expressing the hostility that Tsuki seemed to exude with a mere look. Then it spoke his name.
"Heheh, of course he is," Izaya chuckled sheepishly when he finally found the breath to speak. "Though I was referring to your bond as pokemon and trainer rather than your physical proximity, Tsuki-san. Or did you know that and were you joking?" It certainly didn't seem in the mood to joke. That only left the reason that it either didn't know what he had meant (unlikely), or that it merely did not want to answer his question (more likely). If the latter was the case, though, then why? Did it fear that people would use Tsuki's bond with Skunketsu against it? No, it couldn't be...pokemon couldn't be that intelligent, could they?
The Rocket couldn't seem to stop staring. Even as he listened to Skunketsu's words, he couldn't tear his eyes away from the pair. They just looked that much more bizarre together...that much less a fit for each other. The same question kept tumbling around in Izaya's mind: how had the two ended up together? It made no sense.
The man, no matter what he wanted to believe, was a civilian. No organization nor gang would have been able to acknowledge the existence of this small-time hero; Izaya was certain of it. Where had he come from? Where had he obtained such a powerful pokemon? How and why was it so loyal to him?
"What's wrong with where you came from?" Izaya ventured to ask Skunketsu at last. "Don't tell me it's crime-free. Did you and Tsuki here really fix every problem your former city had?" He closed his mouth and looked Skunketsu dead in the face when he realized the older man was serious. "Really?" he asked in a quieter voice. "You have nothing to lose...?" Dangerous words for a fool seeking trouble. "What about your life, Skunketsu-san? Have you ever considered that you might have that to lose?"
If the hero had no regard for his own well-being, then he was more stupid than Izaya thought. Then again, having had a Mewtwo as a partner for who knew how long, it actually kind of made sense that Skunketsu had developed such confidence. Tsuki really seemed to care for his trainer. As the informant glanced back at the legendary out the corner of his eye, he noticed that it was wearing a peculiar expression - one that almost seemed human.
Did Tsuki know what they were getting into? Did he know how foolish his trainer was acting? If so, why didn't he stop him? Was he still that loyal as a pokemon to follow Skunketsu even into a hopeless situation...? Tsuki was probably the reason Skunketsu and Spike were even still alive, if the man had done things like this before in other places.

Tsuki turned his attention back to the obviously stunned inferior human. Normally, he didn't like humans. Especially ones like this one, he could tell he was a bad egg. But as long as his trainer was still smiling, Tsuki wouldn't raise a hand to the younger male. Even if he really, really, really, really deserved it at this point. This boy needed to learn not to stick his nose in other people's business.
" I wouldn't say crime free..." Skunketsu spoke up, wearing that usual grin on his face. He lifted one hand to his chin, rubbing it a bit, " But, there hadn't been a crime for three days when I left." Not ones that were reported anyways., "If there is crime going on again, it'll at least be crime that the police can handle.". His hand moved again, to the back of his head and he rubbed it, " Ah, but that was a small time town. Nothing compared to this." He didn't mention that he had actually run out a Rocket Team from the town, and followed them here. AKA; Why he came to this town in the first place.
When Izaya mentioned death, that smile didn't fade... His eyes changed though, showing some form of... Strength? It was that passionate look that you could see when there was trapped Tiger who hadn't given up yet. "Don't worry Izaya-san. If I die doing what I do best, then it's a life lived fully.".
Mewtwo seemed to sigh at that, it was words like those that kept him from telling the Hero to quit while he's ahead. He had so much confidence, so much life sill growing in that torn body of his. Tsuki could only see this ending badly, but he continue forward with his trainer. He would just have to stand by his side and protect the one who put his life on the line to protect strangers. He had to be that one person Skunketsu could lean on. There would never be another person after all, not with him always being so secretive.
Finally, Skunketsu returned his Aggron, seeing as he was just going to be leaving soon to investigate the city for that "monster" type character soon, and that would be best with just him. Or him and Tsuki. Mostly just him, he didn't want Rockets swarming him trying to get the legendary after all. It would eventually happen if he kept causing trouble with them, but if he at least got time to investigate the city more, he could try to avoid ambush areas. Not that he thought this monster guy was part of rockets, seeing as that they would never bring so much attention to themselves, but he would keep the streets as safe as he could. While he was thinking about all of this, he kept that dumb smile, like he wasn't thinking at all.
"Sooo, about that monster guy? Do you know his usual whereabouts? I'll check it while I exploring the city." The hero asked, as he debated to keep Tsuki out or not.

Sadly, it seemed Izaya would never learn not to 'stick his nose in other people's business'. It was his hobby, after all, to observe and understand humans, so he made it his business to know everything he could about them, including what motivated them to do what they did. Skunketsu was no exception; in fact, he made the Rocket more curious than most humans did. He wasn't about to leave the guy to his hero work anytime soon. At least not without tagging along with him.
"Ah...so the crime you took care of previously was too much for the police to handle on their own?" the skinny man questioned with a skeptical smile. "What made you believe you could take on a city if all the experience you had prior was a small town?" It didn't sound like Skunketsu had given his move to Camphoreon much thought. Little did the info-broker know that there had been a specific reason the masked hero had chosen this particular city to venture to above the others in Kodo.
Uh oh. That look of determination was a look Izaya believed could only be found on fools' faces. The last time he had seen such a spark of passion was when that silly Seiji Yagiri believed he was fighting for his 'true love' between himself and Celty's head, which, of course, had turned out to be a fake. Skunketsu's name really suited him well if he was as serious as he appeared to be. "If you die doing what you do best, then maybe you were best doing something else," Izaya offered in response, but chose not to argue the point any further. If the man wanted to die, that was his own problem, not Izaya's.
Grunt Nakura noted that he wasn't the only one who seemed to disagree with the self-proclaimed hero. If he didn't know any better, the Rocket would have thought that Tsuki had actually sighed. What had the Rocket labs done to create such a human-like creature? Was it his species, or did this Mewtwo just act different because he had spent so much time with Skunketsu, who apparently treated him as he would treat any other human? Either way, the Mewtwo didn't seem too pleased with its master's decision, even if he chose not to speak up against him. Izaya began to wonder if it had any free will of its own. Maybe if he could just talk to Tsuki alone...
"Monster...? Ah, yes, Shizu-chan," Orihara mumbled, recalling the tale he had told Skunketsu. "Mmm...usually he's just strolling around the city somewhere. Sometimes he smokes. Seems to like vending machines." He grinned more broadly, tapping the side of his face. "On the outside he may seem like a normal civilian, but almost any tiny thing can awaken the violent beast inside. Fortunately, he's very stupid. I'm sure a hero like you could outsmart him easily."
The grunt stuck his hands in his parka pockets, sort of dancing and skipping around the area as he spoke, swinging around a light pole. "Besides his unnatural, monstrous strength, he only owns one pokemon last I checked - a Metang, I believe - but it's defective, so catch it off-guard at the right moment and it'll be a piece of cake. Oh! And despite having lost the job ages ago, Shizu-chan - er, the monster, that is - always, always, always wears a bartender suit, so he's easy to spot around the city. There's also the tell-tale signs of heavy, flying objects, like vending machines and street signs. I think I mentioned that."
He paused a minute, glancing to Tsuki. "Skunketsu-san..." he began, trying to choose his words carefully, "Do you mind if I talk to Tsuki for a while? While you go look for the monster, I mean. The job shouldn't be more trouble than you and Spike can handle on your own, and I've never met a Mewtwo before. I'm really curious." He beamed at the costumed man innocently. "We'll both be right here when you come back. Or, if you take longer than it takes us to chat, I'm sure Tsuki can find you later. I can even help him if he wants, since I know this city like the back of my hand."
Izaya figured it would be okay with the guy. After all, the Rocket was pretty much helpless against the legendary. Not even all three of his pokemon together could probably take on the psychic-type. What he was most concerned about was if Tsuki would allow Skunketsu to go into the city on his own, since he seemed so protective. If he could convince the Mewtwo that he was concerned for Skunketsu's saftey, however, maybe he could get him to stay behind. "It's still daylight now, so there probably won't be any muggers or gangs to worry about," he answered helpfully. "You can concentrate on the monster with Spike. Tsuki will be back with you by the time night falls so you two can fight crime together."
The Rocket looked over to meet Tsuki's gaze, intimidating as it was, and lock eye-contact. He wondered if the psychic-type could read his thoughts, even if he couldn't project them telepathically like it could. I just want to talk, he said mentally in the case that Tsuki picked it up. It's about your reckless hero.

The Hero blinked a bit, staring off back towards Izaya. He was quite shocked by the question, wasn't this the same guy earlier that was treating Spike like an object? But now he was treating Mewtwo like an equal, even wanting to talk to him. It was pretty surprising, and definitely the first time he's been asked that question. His initial response would have been "No" because he feared a Rockets taking the pokemon. But, he slowly turned his gaze back towards his Mewtwo, thinking.
Mewtwo didn't wait for Hero to say something though, suddenly floating towards Izaya, the creature got right into the other's face, glaring right back into Izaya's eyes. " What about my Son?! I have nothing to say to you. If he left me here to chat I'd be the only one leaving here, with no broken bones at least. He's the only one keeping me from doing something to you right now." He hated Rockets, and more so hated anyone that considered Skunketsu and idiot. In his mind, they were the fools for not getting to know his Trainer better. Of course, it was hard for them to know... Skunketsu kept everyone at an arms length these days, even Tsuki, but Tsuki had know him his life. Of course, even him for a while considered Skunketsu a dumb a** who didn't know when to give up. It was the time that they've spent together, that he learned Mew boy's real reasons for being the way he was. Mewtwo gasped suddenly, when Hero through his arms around the and pulled him back. Tsuki suddenly looked even more annoyed then before.
"Hahaha, Tsuki. Why would you say such means things to Izaya-san? He's a cute boy right? No need to be so harsh." The hero gave Mewtwo and kind smile, peaceful smile, trying to get his old friend to relax. He turned his attention to the younger male, " Thank you for all the info kid, you can talk with Tsuki, but only if you tag along with us. Remember, he's my partner! But I won't listen in, I give you my hero's promise." He tried compromising between the two.
Mewtwo turned his head to the side, looking back towards his Trainer with a curious manner. The hero turned to look back at the Mewtwo, as if Mewtwo had told him something through telepathy, and he actually... Looked annoyed? That blush also came back, as if the other and told him something embarrassing. " I didn't mean it in that way....Perv..", was all the hero said, his eyebrow twitching a bit.

"Your son?!" Izaya repeated, startled as he took a step back, not having expected the Mewtwo to get right up in his face. He tried very hard not to laugh and instead put up his palms in surrender. "I honestly mean no harm, to you or your trainer," he answered truthfully. "My, that's a lot of hostility towards someone you only just met. Are you like this to everyone, Tsuki-san?" Did he know he was a Rocket? It seemed impossible but if Tsuki could read minds like Mewtwo were said to be able to...well, then, that would put Izaya in an awkward situation.
He didn't really consider Skunketsu an idot persay...just naive, and a little old to be playing hero. He wasn't anywhere near as stupid as Shizu-chan, which was Izaya's personal poster-child for idiocy. Both Izaya and Tsuki seemed stunned, however, as Skunketsu suddenly hugged the Mewtwo with both arms, restraining him as he pulled him away from the informant.
The older man was sharper than the Rocket had given him credit for; Orihara could see that now. Skunketsu appeared to be one of those people who liked to play dumb; perhaps to allow his enemies to underestimate him. Was that why he had been so nice to Izaya all this time...? He lapsed into silence for a while as Skunketsu calmed down his pokemon, thinking hard and deep, his brow furrowing a little.
The invitation to tag along brought him back to reality. "Ah...is that so?" he asked slowly, considering the situation. He highly doubted Skunketsu wouldn't be able to hear, even if he didn't try to, but if this was the only way he could talk to Tsuki, so be it. At least he didn't have to worry about Tsuki breaking his bones this way. That, and he could continue to keep an eye on the hero - maybe even witness the fight between him and Shizuo. "Alright, then. I don't have anywhere to be for a while." With luck, maybe Shizuo wouldn't see him. Even if he did, at least the boy and his Mewtwo were on his side, rather than that monster's.
Catching the looks between trainer and pokemon, Izaya raised a brow, but said nothing. He looked away as he managed to overhear Skunketsu's words, deciding that maybe some information was best kept secret. "Well then...shall we? Perhaps you're eager to be out and about at night, but I'm afraid I'm not as enthusiastic about the idea. The sooner we find our target, the better."

Tsuki looked angry again, hearing the youngster would be following them the hole time they looked for trouble. This really aggravated him, as he couldn't even stand this person for five minutes, let alone an hour or two. Shoving Skunketsu's arms away from him, he glared between the two of them. He wasn't sure if he should insist on not taking this human with them or not... After all, it was only going to cause problems... But he didn't want to stress out his trainer. Tsuki sighed after a moment, taking his feet off the ground and floating in mid air beside his trainer. "Let's get this over with... It'll be dark soon enough."
Skunketsu chuckled, looking over to Izaya, "He's... Possessive. Tsuki-sam sort of raised me, so yeah. Sorry that he snapped at you." Pausing a bit, he gave a little cough, "But yes, let's get going." He looked in both directions, thinking for a moment, before turning in a particular direction and moving forward. As if there was some particular calling to him in that direction.
Mewtwo grumbled, waiting a moment as he slowly turned his gaze back towards Izaya. He did not look happy, " I don't know who you are, or what you want, but I don't like you. You don't have much time to talk to me, so use it wisely." The legendary clone waited until his owner was a good distance way before he strted following him, giving them distance for him and Izaya to talk. Just like his master asked.
