There were many Outposts that Roxanne had yet to see and explore; frankly part for not getting a chance to find an escort and partly from still trying to explore the two she were commonly at. There were a lot of places in Virgo and Leo for the blonde to explore and when she came across Chrono for the first time, when it wasn't a blob in the distance, there would have been a thought that there would many here too.
But Roxy didn't make it past the entrance and had barely made it even in. Her yellow eyes had stayed fixated just on the outside alone with the presence of the place looming over here in its wonder. Her mouth fell open, awe on her face and her lips managed to pull into a smile as she dared to take a step with her bare feet. Her toes met carpet, which was a wonderful feeling even if it was damaged. And the banners of the Zodiacs greeted her silently, and she gathered they had seen better days.
"Yup," she sighed happily, "if I get a castle... I think this is what it'd look like." her slender hands went to rest on her hips as she continued spinning in slow circles in the greeting room.

"Really?"
The voice came from somewhere nearby. A young man, in his early twenties, was standing with his arm resting at his side, broken wrist healing very well under the brace and bandage. He smiled sweetly at the girl. Though he had a bad habit of making the creepiest entrances, somehow managing to appear from no where and never announcing himself until someone was speaking to themself and he felt it important to reply, he was actually a very sweet guy.
He just seemed to be part ninja.
"You wouldn't want one that you designed yourself? Though, I can't blame you, if I had one I would want it to be this beautiful, too. You have very good taste, I think. Hello! My name is Grant. I haven't seen you around the outpost before..."
He tilted his head to the side in wonder, with a very pleasant smile on his face. His eyes were bright and interested, honestly wanting to know about her rather than simply seeking a passing conversation. He was the kind of guy who meant it when he asked someone how they were.

A pale brow quirked at the second voice that fluttered into the entry room, her head turning to see who it was before the rest of her body followed to complete her rotation.
"Well, I can't say I'm much of a architect per say," she replied in a cool manner with a few short steps towards the older boy, "so if there's something already made why not just take it?" There was a soft chuckle now mixed with her smile as she brought a hand to tap at her chin. Her eyes began to roam again, seeing the room at a different angle, even if it was only a few feet difference from where she was before.
"But thank you," her attention was back on Grant, "I'd like to think I have amazing taste." Modesty? Oh sometimes it escaped the teenager. Her self image was always so large.
"You can call me Yellow," she greeted, holding out her hand in to exchange further pleasantries as her brain filled his face and name together for mental records. "I've actually made base-camp as Leo's place and decided to explore this lovely abode and get the lay of the land." And well, perhaps find some wonderful trinkets. She still looked a mess, and well if this place really belonged to a Princess....

"I wouldn't take it, without permission, but I see your point," he smiled brightly. He didn't imagine she meant to actually steal it, either, and the idea barely flitted through his head despite making the comment on it. Sometimes his thoughts and his words had a difficult time connecting.
It was always dangerous for him to find people who were self confident, or who basked in compliments. He was more than willing to dish them out, obliviously, and he might unwittingly feed an ego for a year or more.
"Yellow? That's a nice name. Is that after something?" He had to wonder why a parent would call someone Yellow. That had to be a fascinating story, and hopefully it was a good memory her parents had shared with her, so she could share it with others.
"Well, I don't know the way around very well, but if you would like a tour of what I do know, I would be happy to give it." He smiled brightly, "the Princess character here is very nice, from what I've seen of her. She helped us all when we arrived. She and uhm." He had forgotten the very simple name that he remembered making a comment in his mind on, and liking. "Flower. That might not be right. I wouldn't use that name, it might be embarrassing if it's wrong."
Another bright smile.

Oh, how cute. Though realistic. There really was no way for Roxy to steal a castle, ideally she would find a way but really that was probably more into Flannery's area of expertise and grand way of scheming. So, she simply fed him another soft smile as she sauntered past him towards the doors that seemed to stand out at the end of the hall.
Roxy spun around, taking each step now backwards as she continued their conversation even if he didn't follow. "A tour would be wonderful," would be easier for her as well to get acquainted. Meeting a Princess even better, "I don't think calling someone Flower would be too offending, unless it were one of the male senshi people." If she was talking about the incompetent one in yellow that she had encountered, oh would there be much laughter and encouragement to use the name on him.
"They probably have odd names either way." Roxy shrugged. "Mine is from my amazingly sunny personality," she winked, finally addressing the one she had given him. Wallace had enforced a no real names upon them and probably didn't want people to suspect anything different.

Grant watched her go, thinking she was going to leave. She hadn't asked him to keep her company, and he didn't want to upset her by following her like some kind of creeper. He heard her speaking, though, and was then compelled to hurry after her and make up the ground he had lost.
He didn't want to be rude and miss whatever she was saying to him.
He nodded his head, glad she had accepted his offer. Of course, he had very little idea where he was or where they were going, so he walked with her and explained the few areas he had been in.
This wasn't one of them.
"That makes sense!" He said, as she explained her name, "I can see that. You do have a very effervescent personality, and if it was a color I think it would be yellow."
He smiled, oblivious as ever.
"Well, I'm not sure what way we're going, so maybe we can give each other a tour as we discover these rooms? I'm sorry I offered one when I didn't know much more than the foyer and the rooms we're staying in. I hope you're not mad at me." If he had puppy dog ears, they might have drooped a little there, but his expression brightened nearly immediately. "But this could be fun, too!"

Roxy had been honestly glad he had every intention to follow her, even though with a tour it was meant to be the other way around. Small details she was going to overlook.
Even with the little knowledge he had of the areas they were walking through, she took the information as he gave it to file away, like everything else, for later. She was showing an honest interes here, and her eyes darted from Grant to the things he explained.
Grant was even feeding her more compliments, which only made her smile more.
"Well, unless you think the rooms you guys are staying in have anything interesting, I wouldn't mind it either way." Was what Roxy offered as a response. She had every intention to just veer off to a random direction, but for once she decided to let someone else make the decision.
"I think I'd only be mad if you showed me a trap door that lead me to my death." Roxy added in with a chuckle/

"I'll try to avoid those," Grant said with a nod. His voice was very sincere, and he didn't seem to realize she was kidding with him. He thought she was honestly concerned with falling down a trap door, and he was not going to lead her to one, knowing that.
Not that he knew where any were, but he would always move first, and if they found one he would fall in first. That would warn her ahead of time, he hoped.
"So," he said with that classic conversational tone, the sharp use of voice that came with the start of a new topic. The only thing missing was a clap of his hands. He smiled as he spoke, though, expression bright and sweet.
"What were you doing when you were dragged here? If that's too upsetting we can talk about something else, of course. I don't want to make you sad and miss Earth! Oh, I shouldn't have brought it up. I'm sorry."
He shook his head and led her to some stairs going up. He didn't know where they might go. And without asking for permission, he wasn't sure if they should go up there.

Roxy knew that oh so clear indicator of a change in subject. It was also pretty close to the kind of so someone uttered trying to fill either an awkward silence or an uncomfortable one. The blonde silently pondered which one Grant felt they were in. She certainly didn't think they were in either really. There was much to see around them, even if it was strange that they were there at all, and she had to fight with her brain to tear her eyes away from the scenery to look at her companion.
"Oh, pfft." Roxy waved her hand, passing off the notion. "I've already gone way past being depressed about all this," well not totally depressed but she had already indulged in all that at least. "Though, I am rather disappointed that I was kidnapped when I was. I was working on my most amazing Halloween costume yet, just so in the zone of working on it." She had thrown her hands out and even did a little twirl thinking about the gown. "Aa, I hope I'll be in the same mood when I return back home." If she did, but she didn't want to think about that.
"What about you, good sir?" She asked, once again finding herself nearly walking backwards to converse with him.

"Halloween costume?" Grant echoed, looking pleased by the idea. "It must be something amazing if you're starting this early on it. I bet you're very good at crafting things like that. I never had much skill with fabric and designing clothes, but it looks like a wonderful skill to have!"
He hoped he wasn't assuming too much, but then, he usually was. Then he would be corrected and he would roll with it, always eager, always beaming. It was impossible to deter him from his set path of lighthearted, complimentary sincerity.
And really, why would anyone want to burst his bubble?
Even if they did, he wouldn't blame them for it. He would be sure they had a good reason in doing so, and ask them if they would like to sort out any of his other hopes and dreams while they were at it. Except he wouldn't be using sarcasm.
People did things, sometimes bad things, to make themselves feel better. And if that was how it would work, then Grant would do what he could to help them feel better. Punching bag or otherwise.
"I'm sure you'll be able to jump right back into it, once we're home! What are you going to be for halloween?" He heard her question and amended himself to add, "oh, I was helping an old woman across the street."
He was still pretty sure she made it across okay.

"Well," Roxy put on a very wide sly grin, "not to gloat," hah! "I'd like to think I am pretty amazing." If a majority of their conversation wasn't enough to state the obvious high opinion of herself, even if he was just touching on the subject of sewing. Which, well she did think she was really good even if she was still stuck using commercial patterns.
When the pair got to the landing of the second floor, Roxy could feel her heart swell with awe. As if the first floor wasn't amazing looking enough, the sight of so many doors with so many possibilities - even if there was so much one could see from a hallway - was just exciting. But doors coud lead to exciting things to look at ... and possibly use. "This place is awesome," she almost felt like giggling like a five year old, but she held it in as best she could.
Letting Grant take the lead, as he was the guide, Roxy followed closley as she touched back on their earlier topic. "Have you ever heard of the movie Legend?" It was sad how many hadn't heard of it, but she continued without letting him even state otherwise, "I'm making Lily's dark dress, I've been wanting to make it for years and I figured I'm totally old enough to handle that plunging neckline even if my mother still is making frowny faces at it." Mia Sara was totally about her age when she wore it, Roxy felt it was her time too.
To his own accounts of his actions, Roxy's excitement over her own dwindled to a confused look as she eyed her new companion. "... helping an old lady. Really?" Was he making an analogy? Sure, it wasn't like she didn't have a heart to help people in need - when it let her have a favor for later use and all - but the statement seemed so old fashioned and cliche, she had to wonder.

Grant smiled at her and nodded his head.
"You should think so!" he encouraged harmlessly. Or he imagined it was harmless. What was the harm in letting her have confidence in herself? She seemed happy, and he wanted her to be just that. So he padded her ego as obliviously as any other man might, who was eager to see her smile. Except his intentions ended exactly there.
In fact, it was quiet probable that his brain didn't actually function in terms beyond that.
He looked around as she did, feeling equally as touched with the sights. It was a strange kind of wonder, and he had to work hard to fathom that it was real. Though it might not be. Still, it felt real, and that didn't take away from how beautiful it was. The facts weren't necessary, really, as he remained in this moment with or without them.
"Legend? I don't think so," he said, though she was talking over him and he quickly looked mortified for being rude and almost cutting her off. He shook his head. He bit his lip, to avoid doing it again. Twice would just be unforgivable.
"She need help down the step, then I coudln't just leave her to hobble across teh road so I helped walk with her and... I think we got almost all the way across. I'm hoping... NO I'm sure she did, something like this wouldn't happen and hurt an innocent old lady, right?" It wasn't really a question. He knew the answer.
And that answer was no old ladies would ever be hurt. Duh.

Roxy had maneuver herself to one of the side walls, brushing her fingers on the ornate table that greeted her. It was caked in dust but had lovely little trinkets upon it which she could imagine looked amazing once the grey layer was swept away. Her eyes then moved to look at the fabrics that hung on the walls, her hands reaching up to touch. So much touching.
She didn't quite catch his further encouragement, being lost in the grander of the place. Roxy did hear his reply though, "I totally recommend watching it when we get back," she turned to him with a large smile on her face ready to go on to explain one of her favorite movies until she noticed the look on his face.
And listened to his concerned explanation. Finally dropping her hands from fondling whatever she could in the room, she closed the distance back between them and laid a gentle hand on his shoulder. Really, this guy was too sweet for his own good, with the way he fed her ego and had helped this woman. "I'm sure she's fine and she'll be so thankful when you get back."
It was the least she could say to him, even if she had no idea what would have happened to this old woman, well she hoped for the best as he did at least. "And you'll have an amazing story to tell her when you get back after all, who else can say they got whisked away on an adventure?"

Grant followed her, but didn't touch anything. He didn't want to break anything if it was really old, and touching it might break it. This room, and everything in it, belonged to someone else. That pretty Princess he had seen before, he imagined. Or someone in her family? He wasn't sure how old this place was, or how the whole planet thing worked. But it didn't really matter.
The facts remained. Nothing here was his, so he didn't want to hurt it or break it.
"I will watch it!" He chimed. And, if he did get back, he would. He rarely said something he didn't mean. And since it wouldn't cause him or anyone else any harm, he had no trouble agreeing to something so simple. Even if she would never know he had actually kept his promise, if they never ran into each other again. He would still do it.
Just for the sake of it.
He smiled when she tried to comfort him about the little old lady. She was right, the woman must have been fine and he hoped she was well. if she needed help at another street, Grant hoped he would be home soon enough to help her again.
"That's very true! This whole thing is amazing, isn't it? You're very kind, and thank you. Pretty and kind! You have everything. Are you having fun in this place, or are you scared by this whole space thing?"

And Roxy's head grew two sizes that day and her smile could only swell. It was really hard for her not to burst into laughter over his continued flattering words, so she chuckled lowly whilst still giving him a firm pat on his shoulder. Oh, Grant.
"It was a little overwhelming, obviously." She replied, "but like I said before, kind of had to get over being scared and just go with whatever this place has to throw at us." Roxy couldn't be sure she could classify this as fun, but now knowing there was treasures and places to explore then maybe she could find her own fun with the others of her crew.
"Are you fairing well?" Roxy asked, pulling her hand away from his shoulder but not yet wandering from Grant.
