It was a cool evening in the early fall, and the sun had already slipped behind the trees on the horizon. In other words, it was an ideal evening for Yin Xu to frolic in the shallows. This was a new area that she'd never been to before, but she was ready for an adventure.
She splashed through the small wavelets that licked at her lower legs, frisking about and in general enjoying herself. Something was lacking however, the drive of competition that pushed her to her limits, a feeling that she never tired of. Still, it was a beautiful evening and the kelpie mare was determined to make the best of it. To an outsider she may have looked silly, a fully grown mare behaving like a filly, but quite honestly she wasn't concerned about other's opinions in the least.
