Virgo's Outpost was one of the first locations she stumbled upon - because obviously she had been hurt - so the blonde felt the need to get the lay of the land right in her mind. Roxy almost had it all down, given how many places she could actually go without running into dead ends or rubble. Exit plans, places to hide, detours, she was going to have this whole Surrounding place figured out even if she still couldn't figure out exactly where they were ... besides space. So vague.
Taking a break from her wanderings and eavesdropping on the various peoples located still milling around, and watching with odd looks at the people working on things, Roxy steered herself towards the kitchens she had stumbled upon a few days ago. They weren't as big or grand as the ones she found on Leo - complete with senshi people cooking and whatnot - but it still had plenty of food that was either cultivated or brought in.
Her bare feet pattered against the ground, her attempts of being sneaky null in void for the search of food as her stomach ached. Roxy reached out to grab a few bags of chips when she heard a ringing bell. And then heard it again, it sounded like a large jingle bell and it seemed to be close. Curious, the blonde called out, "Hello?"

Hugbell and Hygiea had been doing too good a job warning those at the Virgo outpost about a certain guardian who had a very, very large appetite. Several of the civilians who had decided to stay around had decided to patrol the food in an effort to keep a particular cat-earred girl away.
However, said cat-earred girl had been busy. Busy watching for new people to approach the vicinity. The newer ones were easier to convince to share food with.
A girl with blonde hair had passed her, heading in the direction of the kitchen for the Virgo outpost. Rather than linger about too long, a silvery-haired girl with a top hat was soon enough on her feet and tailing the unfortunate victim.
********* would never claim to be a ninja. Her collar let people know where she was most times. So there was no way she could avoid a curious greeting.
Seeming to pop out of nowhere, a pair of green eyes were in this blonde girl's line of vision. "Hello right back at you!"

If Roxy had realized the person had been right behind her, she might have been annoyed and called it terribly horror movie cliche. But the chipper greeting was right in front of her before she knew it, making the blonde scream, stumble back and nearly throw a few bags of chips at the cat girl who had startled her.
They weren't really thrown, as in more fumbly fell to the ground in a cluster with Roxy almost falling over. "Don't DO that!" She nearly yelled at the other girl, feeling her heart racing a mile a minute and beating in her ears. Oh god, this place was going to give her a heart attack.. this is how the terriorists were going to win weren't they. Space whales and premature heart conditions, the others were going to laugh at her for dying this way.
"Jeez," Roxy sighed as her right arm found a countertop to get her stable again and she righted herself up, not even looking at ********* as she tried to calm herself.

The girl with the top hat didn't even seem to flinch as items were thrown at her. In fact, she sounded quite pleased with herself as she caught one, then two, then three bags of chips. "Ooooo, chips!" she squealed as she looked the objects over. Oh yes, these would do nicely for a snack for herself.
However, despite momentarily catching the bags, she then proceeded to do something a bit more festive with them. Rather than just leave the bags sitting in her arms, she then tossed one up in the air. Then the next, then the final one, just in time for the first one to fall into her other hand. It was always fun to practice simple juggling. Fortunately, the bags were light enough that even the earliest beginner jugglers could have probably pulled off such a feat.
"Goodness, that certainly gave you a fright. I am quite sorry about that... but you seem to be fine now, yes?"

Roxy felt as if the confirmation of her condition was lost in the sound of crinkling bags that were juggled right in front of her. Her yellow eyes unconsciously watched them as they flew through the air as if she watching a tennis match.
Then her eyes momentarily narrowed while one of her hands snatched a bag from completing its loop in the hands of the cat girl, not that she realized that ********* was a cat girl. "Yes," Roxy repeated as she regained her composure and moved to cover up her moment of weakness by opening up the bag of chips.
She pulled out a few while eyeing the what looked like a teenager, then finally asked, "so I'm guessing you're one of those senshi people?" It was pretty obvious with the outfit; even though there had been some LARPers that had gotten kidnapped with the lot of them, none of them had as much of an outfit as ********* did. Not in its condition, attention to details and well, it looked way too cute for one of the random civilians to be wearing. It had a theme to it, Roxy had to guess... the girl did juggle.
A chip was popped into her mouth and chewed upon, slowly and carefully still eyeing the girl. With her free hand, she gestured at ********* neck, "whats with the bell? They don't want to lose you?"

Losing one of the three bags of chips was not a tragedy. In fact, the moment the girl had taken one, one hand held firmly to the bag that had been passed to the other hand, and then the second bag was caught as it fell from the air.
The girl had one bag of chips and ********* had two. It wasn't a bad deal at all. As the blonde seemed to settle to eating, the guardian seemed to do the same. No, the manx-guardian wasn't a mime, but she wasn't the sort to deny her hunger for too long. It was like she had an eternal case of the munchies. Tucking one baggy of chips under her arm, she then focused on opening the other baggy. "Oooo... sour cream... these are good!" The moment her baggy seemed to pop open, she sniffed the contents of the bag. "Yeaaah... these smell good!"
Rather than grabbing many at one time, ********* grabbed one chip at a time many different times. She quickly brought them to her mouth, crunching quite quickly, then reaching back for a new chip. It was quite sad, but it almost looked as if she was inhaling the treat.
By the time she decided to answer some questions, her mouth had lots of food in it. The first question received a simple shake of the head. Nope, ********* wasn't a senshi. Closing her mouth and finishing a round of chewing and swallowing, she then addressed the next question.
"...I'd like to think a cat tends to look cute with a bell collar personally." Tucking her other bag of chips temporarily under her arm, she then took a moment to lift her hat, making it easier for the blonde to see the ears that were perked up at attention, though one flicked slightly as the edge of the hat accidentally touched it.

The simple mathematical logic that ********* had concluded upon was finally realized by Roxy as her eyes darted from her own single bag of barbecue flavored chips to ********* two. Well, crap. Her eyes narrowed again, momentarily shifting to the counter to make sure there would be more for her the snatch later.
If there were any left, judging by the way the other girl ate. Or more, inhaled things like a vacuum. Roxy unconsciously pulled her own bag just a little closer to her chest protectively if ********* got any funny ideas. These were her's dammit, no freaky senshi person was going to take them no matter what kind of cute outfit they were in. Even if they were miming out a negative to her question and now taking off their hat....
"... wait, what the hell?" Were those real? Those had to be some sort of cosplay or something and before Roxy could stop herself, her hand darted out to feel the ears to see the quality of fur that were used. But... they didn't feel like fake fur or even the really good fake fur. Roxy eyed *********, pointedly, while her fingers were still fiddling, "you didn't like skin a cat or something for these, did you?"
People did weird things for authenticity, even if ********* was claiming herself to be a cat. Oh really, Roxy shouldn't be putting it out of mind... space whales, kidnapped to space, magical people, terrorists who were acting nice, why not a real cat girl?

Upon the subtle touch of the girl's fingers, the ears once again seemed to flick in a sensitive manner. "I don't think I'd need to skin a cat if I was a cat... it would be like skinning a person to make some sort of decoration out of them, yes?"
Rather than fidget with her hat, she instead planted her hat on the other girl's head, then moved to start working on eating the chips again. She didn't need to slow down on her eating just for a girl who couldn't put two and two together. However, after she had somehow managed to put away all of the chips from that first bag, the guardian tucked the now empty bag under her arm.
"If you are not certain about my ears... I can assure you I only have one pair of them. You can check to see if I have another pair hiding somewhere if you'd like." The guardian offered a very inviting smile before patting her hair that seemed to mask what might have had human ears behind it.

There had been space whales and space bats, Roxy. Space Whales. It would be at this point that her brain told her to just let it go and really not think about all the whackadoodle things that were in this bizarre adventure. And this also meant finally letting go of ********* ears as she felt them move beneath her fingers, "of course you're a cat.. why not." Her voice had the slight raise of delirium but thankfully nothing much else, she at least wasn't the kind to start twitching when things got weird.
Well, she had almost already done that. After nearly having a nervous breakdown. Perhaps she was reaching the stage of acceptance finally and just not thinking about these things. It got her to act a little like her normal self from time to time.
Her fingers slid from inside the bag, ignoring the invite to see if ********* in fact had another set of ears, to grip at the purple top hat that had been placed upon her head. Roxy could feel the holes where the cat's ears most likely fit through and she used it as a handle to slip it off and get a better look. Faint stripes, a feather and a gem and not much else but she studied it none the less. "Why would a cat need a hat?" A grin spread across her face the moment she said it, oh she couldn't let the reference slip her by. "Or are you an agent of chaos here to try to salvage our rainy day"

Since her invitation had not been taken, the cat girl moved onto popping open her second bag of chips and proceeded to munch again. Though she was occupying her time with fried potato in her mouth, her eyes keenly watched how the girl fussed with the hat. The girl acted as if she was analyzing the little accents on her garment, a sign of a craftsman, or craftswoman in this case.
"Why do people need a lot of things? You know, life doesn't always have an answer for every question... buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut..." A wide smile spread across the guardian's cat. "I definitely am not an agent of chaos. Just a cat named *********." A chip was popped into her mouth, a simple crunch, and then a pause, as if she was expecting this blonde to introduce herself now.

********* had a point, and Roxy had to give her that and hell even tipped her new hat to the catgirl. The blonde was really a walking embodiment of over excess sometimes, given her hobbies and if anyone ever graced her room.
Roxy gave the hat one final look before she placed it back on her head, running her finger across the brim before settling her hand back into the bag of chips, finally getting back to eating. Hats weren't normally her style, but with the disarray of her hair, it would have to do for now as an accessory. "*********, huh?" She finally replied between munching, the contents of her bag finally getting thin. "If you're not an agent of chaos, as you claim," god she was getting as paranoid as her friends with this, "what do you do exactly?" She shook the bag a little, trying to find the bigger chip pieces.

"...well... seeing as I am a cat... I tend to do a lot of cat like things,' she offered between munches and crunches. It seemed to be the popular question of the day, even though she couldn't blame them. It wasn't everyday that a cat-earred girl claiming to be a cat was there to help out.
Finishing up the contents of the second potato chip bag and settling it under her arm, she then began to work on some more explanations. "...of my kind... it is easier to tell usually when they are an agent of chaos..." A finger went to her forehead to touch the silvery star marking that lingered there. "Usually the color of the star upon their head dulls to the color of black." She could easily recall the original color Dahlia's star had been and then the new color she wore. Despite that sort of disappointment, the bell-adorned girl still seemed to remain quite chipper.
"...seeing as I am not an agent of chaos... I tend to wander about the city usually and assist where I can." Now that she had finished her chips, she then reached out to try and nab her hat off of the blonde's head.

Well, those were a whole lot of useless answers. Roxy rolled her eyes as she shoved the remaining crumbs of her chips into her mouth in one handful. She hesitated for a moment until she finally gave in and wiped her greasy hand against her shirt - something she normally couldn't bring herself to do, but with blood stained clothing... it wasn't like they could get any worse.
There was at least one piece of interesting information from this at least. "There's bad cats too?" She asked curiously as she reached over for another bag, and ended up pulling a few more with her. Not that that was a bad thing, something she could take back when she found her friends and all.
"But, you're basically saying you're as useful as a normal cat then? Just get to have the added bonus of clothing, thumbs and a voice?" She opened a new bag, her own bag of sour cream and onion this time, with a pop. And then noticed the hand reaching over her head.
One of Roxy's hands shot up, daring a chip to fall out of the bag, as she placed it on the top of the hat and in place on her head. "Hey now, what do you think you're doing?" It was part defense of her newly acquired headgear and part not knowing what the hell the catgirl was actually going to do.

********* head bobbed up and down, causing her little pigtails to bob and her collar to jingle. "Indeed... though none of the 'bad' cats would be able to make it out here." There was one extra word lingering in her mind after her statement.
Anymore. No, chaos seemed to have a way of closing off many of the secrets to the universe. Though, she was certain others under the influence of Chaos would say it was all a matter of perspective. Somehow, she could almost hear such words at the edges of her ears in Dahlia's voice.
"I suppose you can say that about me... though the voice is what comes into effect most times.. However, you make do with what you have!" If only the thumbs were a benefit she could have all of the time, the world would have been fair.
The guardian did pause as this nameless girl seemed to try to hold the hat to her head. "...well... I would like to claim my hat back. It makes it awfully difficult for me to perform the magic tricks I had in mind right now." She offered a half smile as she held her hand out, almost asking permission this time for her own property. "You do like magic, don't you?"

Roxy would honestly want to laugh at ********* statement of You make do what you have and how fitting it seemed to represent this whole trip rather than just how the cat dealt with well, being a more magical cat. But she was trying to guard her new cat and debated on whether to relinquish it in order to eat her chips really.
"I'm a little on the fence about magic at the moment," Roxy eyed the silver haired girl, "if its magic that brought us here then it honestly sucks." Honestly, she would also love to expand on how ********* had claimed not to do much when she just stated she did magic. Lies! But did she really want to argue about all this?
No, not really. With a sigh, she popped the hat off and handed it off.
