AriettaLi Sweet Sweet. I'm a total fan-noob. :3 Noob cause i get the game but never beat them but i loe them still. Why is it called Monster Hunter 3G? is it like rehashing the Tri but with added content? o-o. It is called 3G because it is an expansion of Tri. Basically the G in the title means G Rank, new armors to go with it, more quests to do, and weapons as well. It is confirmed to have 12 Weapons: Sword and Shield, Dual Swords, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Hunting Horn, Lance, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Light Bowgun, Heavy Bowgun, and Bow.
G Rank monsters will have new attacks to use against you and they are ultimately much harder then High Rank. So far there is one new announced monster, and many sub species making a return to the series, as well as a few new subspecies.
Also, as far as we know it is only being released in Japan right now, there are currently no talks of localization (though that usually doesn't happen until a few months after the initial release). It appears that chances of it coming to the West are very slim, but we won't know for sure until Capcom Japan tells us it isn't going to happen. For now we will just have to wait for it to release in Japan. (Also it's region locked as far as I know, so no go for importers).

There was a full English translation for some manual shown on a video or something (can't quite remember) but that suggested it might come to the west :3
Can't get your hopes too high though TT^TT
