I'm glad they're finally updating guilds, but I think it's a bit odd, spending 100k for a chat room?! Surely that'd make guilds less active in posts...or am I wrong?

I was thinking the same thing. I think it would be cool to have a chat room, but it would make it hard to track the activeness of members. And it might make the guild look unactive if people just use the chat and not the forum.

Plus, that's quite a hefty price! It'd definitely be difficult for a guild like us to track activity. Because we go by people's posts!

I don't think it will be such a good addition to the guild... I like the post system more and that's just a LOT of gold eek

Yeah - I'm going with no unless/until we hear a huge demand for it. And I would rather have donations to the guild go to donations we give out.
