Yes your eyes to not trick you,According to my local Newspaper people are BALLOTING against gay marriages since i do Current Event report for my school I had to cut this out and post it,one thing that caught my eye was a statue saying "Man+Woman=Gods Way of Marriage" So then after that everybody heard the news about it and it spread over some of my school and my teacher said she did have a student that had les parents.


In my opinion they should never be banned people are just born natural that way and they wont change it for no offer because it's what makes them unique and stand out and there are MILLIONS of other people the same way

making marriage a religious thing makes it unconstitutional as it gives legal rights.

i absolutely hate how people associate marriage with religion. that is completely wrong, in this age especially.

Okay, sorry to Philsophical and all but...

Love is Love, no matter what. There are no such words in my vocabulary that define the sexual preferences of people. I believe that if you love someone that you should be able to be open about it.

Love is like Religon actually. You can be open about it, but no one can stop you from believing it.

Also, in the Bible, it says, "Marriage is between man and woman." It does not give a strict definition of Marriage. And if "Gays" and "Lesbians" are not of "Holyness" then why does God keep aloowing them to be born. Because God loves all, and surports all.

But, I am not a "Christian" I am a Polytheist and guess what? Gods married their sisters, and all but no one cares. All they want to do is blasphmize one group!

I'm not into marriage, but gays and lesbians are human beings like straight people and therefore gays and lesbians should have the same legal marriage rights. It's unfair that gay marriage is being discriminated for the thousandth time, and to bring religion into it makes it even worse.

And second, marriage is technically a religious thing, but only the whole ceremonial part of it (as far as I can tell.) As far as marriage licenses, I don't think religion should be a part of that whatsoever. Hell, I have the princess mentality, and I want to have a big ceremony, but I think that's why the narrow-minded hetero-sexuals are freakin' out.

I have a bigoted friend/roommate who won't support gays at all because of the section of the bible that says that we're abominations if we sleep with the same gender. My thoughts on this section/the whole bible is that it was written by people who heard "the word of God" and wrote it down. If it was "God's word", then why doesn't he talk to us today? I'm no religious buff, but I don't quite think God cares if we marry someone of the same gender. It's happened, and we haven't been wiped off of the planet yet.

TL;DR - We should be allowed to get married, because God won't hate us.

If marriage is that sacred then they need to ban divorce as well. It's, for lack of a better word, stupid that they make a ban on "gay" marriage. The "sacred marriage" that some people refer to has already been defiled by those who break their wedding vows by cheating on their spouses or get a divorce.

I don't even think it should be called gay marriage, it should just be marriage. We don't "gay walk", we just walk. We don't "gay breathe," we just breathe. We are human, everything else is just irrelevant.
