Last night before hosts were announced I was asked to host the news room with crystalloid. What I was asking broken was one of my ideas. To make the news room be able to be brought up to current expectations, I came up with the idea where it is a television News Station, the name which can come up later. Me and sachie or me and crystal are anchors and the rest field reporters. The field reporters would go to other rooms and role-play while getting interviews and also the eyes and ears of the station. We then would have the anchors RP as they are behind a desk and report the news, then we send it over to the field reporters, where they will post in the news room (With the place where they are at) and act like they are reporting from there. Broken said she liked that idea, and that it would be fun to do.

For ideas not approved yet is:
-maybe anchors could create a video report for the main plotline updates.
-Field reporters could do the same if they'd like.



My two last ideas posted are because I want to make it more modern. I would create a youtube account for the news room we can use to upload the videos.

So this thread we can start practicing in the kind of format we would use. I know for me this type of RP might be tricky so it might take me a while to get good at a news style rp. (yeah she want rp as well. We may also be tied in with the main plot, who knows.)

We could do anything? if you have other ideas for the room say them.

Well broken said she wants RP. We didn't have a news room for a couple of years for the ball, so we need to make it more of a modern room, or it will just not work. People come to RP. This room isn't just put plot to words, and post it because the general population doesn't want to read that. We need to make it interesting so people read it. Even the old news room had rp, just we need to change to do more stuff since otherwise we are fully under the control of what it used to be which is not what me and broken are after. Here is the thing, the old one lost interest really after the first one because people in the news room weren't rping, they were just posting the plot updates in essay format. Hence I was asked to get time management down for the news room set-up and to add pizazz to attract more guests.

Don't worry, this shouldn't be the case at all! There are still some things I need to clarify and have confirmed, but as far as I know and am concerned, that won't be the case. If you have any other concerns, though, really, feel free to send me a message or something and I will do my very best!

I am willing to stick with it, and I am part of a radio station at my college. I am a DJ at it, and would think I can bring in my thing from that into a video setting. I would look for music to use for the theme, like the quick intro music you hear when you hear breaking news but like I said, it is only a thought and could be eliminated or expanded.

BTW! I've already asked broken, and I'll be writing up a Newsletter for the Guild soon. (Angel is going to edit it for me before it gets posted.) It sounded like the Newsletter was going to be left to the Ad committee, since it involved information or something. xD So even I'm confused as to just what you guys will be doing. It sounded to me that you'd be just planning the room itself (When I was talking to broken.) but I honestly don't know. I do intend to find out though.
