Meet Hazard. He's pretty much a d**k. He rough, harsh, and mean, but he knows how to survive on the streets. Because he's so well versed in survival, he seems to gather a bit of a "pack" around him who rely on his skill to keep them going. He tends to attract dogs with similarly mean and nasty personalities, but he will not accept another dog trying to dominate him. Honestly, Hazard doesn't give a s**t if you join up with him or not, and he's not going to go out of his way for a dog that hasn't earn his trust. If you don't join up and respect him, you can rot on the streets. Doesn't make a difference to him.
So basically, Hazard is looking for others to join up with him and his mate, Emily. Post here if you're interested. Obviously, this won't be a legitimate pack that is recognized by some special shop rules, but it will be a group of people who would like to form pack-like bonds and have that RP available.
Please be aware that I am not looking for a mate or flings for Hazard right now. He already has a mate, and while flings are not out of the question for the future, I am not considering them right now.
The Warehouse
The city sounds had dwindled down into their dull, night-time roar of cabs bringing spirited humans home and nocturnal animals waking to explore the changes that had occurred while they slumbered. The air smelled of wet pavement and trash, but there was little surprise in that. The city was always this, consistently inconsistent. Changing as much as it stayed the same.
It was dangerous if you didn't know how to survive.
Luckily, Hazard was well versed in survival. He'd been doing it since he was a young pup. If it was a dog-eat-dog world, well other dogs had best stay out of his way. He was ruthless in his methods, and would not hesitate to throw another dog down to stay on top. That was how the city worked, and if they couldn't handle it... well, they'd better find a human to take them, and fast.
Shelter was as important as food or water to Hazard. Shelter kept him from getting sick, and it kept catchers from trying to nab him while he was resting. And what better shelter was there than a huge, abandoned building? They were all over the city, mostly boarded up and rotting. Some were so well secured it would have taken more time to get into it than e would have spent inside. But others, others were perfect prizes. Dog-sized holes in the walls for easy access, old crates, shelves, fire blankets, packing peanuts, and abandoned human belonging to add a dash of comfort - even if it did smell of mold. These were the buildings that would serve as long-term holds.
He had planned to wait for Emily before checking this one out, but he was too intrigued. The outside of the building was old, worn, cream brick with curling vines creeping up the sides. The roof sagged in places and had holes in others, and the huge class windows were opaque with dust and grime. He pushed his way through a crumbling hole to the dark inside and cackled. It was perfect. Minimal light streamed through the crusted windows, illuminating particles of dust that streamed through the air. Many of the old metal shelves were still standing, but one had fallen apart and created a ramp to access the rest. Rather than packing peanuts, the floor was strewn with what looked to be foam blankets, which we far better for warmth on cold nights. All of this contained in a huge, open room. This was perfect.
